"Good Burger is a 50's style diner with burgz and all the fried goodness you could want. They've got a large dining room with both booths and table seating. I could see this being a good spot for groups because you could easily push a couple tables together.They don't have paper menus, but they've got a large digital menu above the register and you can also download the menu using a QR code reader on your phone. Burgers start around $7 and go up from there. They've got sesame, brioche and pretzel buns to choose from, as well as a slew of topping choices. You can pretty much customize any way you want. For the veggie people, they offer a black bean patty but I can't speak to how good it is. The restaurant is halal, so no pork products, but they do offer turkey bacon if that's up your alley.Both times I've visited, I've had excellent hand-smashed burgers and perfectly-cooked tots. I always order my tots well done with a side of barbeque sauce and Good Burger delivers. They have the Pepsi equivalent of a Coke Freestyle machine, so you can go nuts with flavor combinations. Service has always been friendly and efficient.This is a great burger spot in Dearborn, and I regret not checking them out sooner!"

"The good thing about this place is definitely the taste of the burger, and they have a small but OK craft beer menu. I had the tropical burger with beef and no bacon, and I found it to be pretty good although a little messy. That just happens with a burger with pineapple, though. However, I thought the price was a little high for such a smallish burger and no fries.And as mentioned, the beer selection was OK. Nothing super but it's nice to have decent beers as an option.My biggest problem with this place though was the seating. Very cramped and awkward. You have to practically move into your neighbor's lap before you can slide into your own seat at some of the tables. That alone means I'm unlikely ever to return, which is a bummer as I did enjoy the burger."

"Was waiting for the wife to get a procedure done so I went exploring the hood and see this place saying servicing since 1952 so I had to try it if they been going strong that long!!It's definitely a play off white castles but they are smashed burgers instead of patties . Same concept with pickles and grilled onions. They are also sliders as well. We got the double cheeseburgers and also the fizzy fries It came with bacon, ranch, cheese on them . I have to say pretty good they didn't chince on the items. We also got a vanilla malt to wash it all down. I like the way it looked inside old school diner vibes. They even served the burgers on a real plate. Little pricey but again I guess it's the experience to try something new when you don't live in the area . But they were busy !! I called ahead to find out if they could accommodate our order and I have to say I have never had a more helpful experience than I did speaking with Petey's. They talked through our needs, suggested some things, gave clear information on when to order by, were willing to deliver a large order and helped us making decisions. In the end, weather canceled our visit, but because of the helpfulness, kindness, and excellent communication I would absolutely order here and encourage others to do so! "This is one of my kiddos favorite spot to dine in when it comes to Japanese fusion. They recommended this place as it was my first time visiting. The dishes were sort of rice bowls with a choice of protein and a scoop of Lo-'mein style noodles or vegetables. We went with all the choices of beef bowl, chicken bowl, and shrimp bowl. I enjoyed all the dishes as the meat was very well seasoned, especially the beef and shrimp. These were all to go orders, as no dine option was available at that time. Masks are required and the business took good steps towards Covid preventions and safety."

"The north end of Southfield has a new option for fried chicken and fish. JJ's opened earlier this week and I needed a fish dinner on Good Friday. There is a real popular fish place just a bit further north of JJ's. If you like fish and live in the area you know the place. But that place takes a loooong time to get your order out. 45+ minutes is not uncommon. And whatever estimate they give you can throw out the window. The guy on the phone at JJs said they could get a 5 pc perch dinner out in 7 minutes. 7! Well, I didn't get it in 7 minutes. I walked out the door 11 minutes after I ordered. And the fish itself? Solid. As good as the place up the street? Tough to say. I'd need to have them both side by side. JJ's fish is good, the prices are competitive and you're still young when they deliver the food. I'll be back."

"We only discovered Pop Chicken after getting boba nearby. As we walked past the shop, we took a peak at the menu posted outside and noticed they offered WHOLE FRIED CHICKEN. What!? No way. We were so intrigued we decided to walk in and give this place a try.6 Pc Wings, Soy Garlic Sauce ($7.29) - The wings come with a nice and crispy breading, covered with a somewhat sweet soy garlic sauce. The crisp is more akin to an American-style chicken wing rather than Korean-style. It's missing that more robust crunch from double fried potato starch. For some reason, some parts of the breading (really only a small portion) tastes a bit like older oil. Both the breading and sauce on the wings are applied a bit unevenly. It might be a plus for people who like light breading and crispy skin with rendered chicken fat. The sauce is thick so it doesn't soak into the breading that quickly, and I found a couple pleasing chunks of diced garlic in the sauce. The chicken meat is moist and easy to eat. It's a solid wing. (4/5)Each order comes with a free dipping sauce. We chose ranch, which came in a pre-packaged container. We didn't use it given how flavorful everything was already.Spicy Crispy Whole Chicken ($12.99) - The chicken takes around 20-25 minutes to come out since they have to prep and fry the whole thing. It's a pretty small chicken, maybe like a larger cornish game hen. If you order this and a side, it's enough for two people. The chicken comes out piping hot and you can easily burn your fingers and mouth if you're not careful. The construction is pretty interesting - instead of spatchcocking, they instead take out the breastbone to flatten the chicken and then cut the breast meat into strips before brining, breading, and frying. The chicken is nicely seasoned in both the breading and the meat. It's salty, savory, and has a bit of a spice that builds just a tad as you eat more. The natural chicken flavor still comes out. At first, I thought this would be a gimmick and there was no way for the chicken to come out evenly cooked - but somehow it works. The breading is crisp with no oily or greasy areas, the skin is rendered out well, and the interior, both white and dark meat are tender and moist. (5/5)The orders are packaged in reusable plastic shopping bags - a very nice touch.I honestly wasn't expecting much when I stopped in to order, driven solely by my interest in whole fried chicken. It turned out to be a great choice and I would definitely recommend to check Pop Chicken out.Bathrooms - Two individual rooms, one for men, one for women.Overall rating of the food this visit: 4.5/5"

I got the 8 pcs chicken (mixed), onion rings and twisted fries. I arrived, parked, entered and someone from the kitchen greeted me. I told her that I was here for pickup, told them which platform. Then this dude walks out from the kitchen, looks at the orders on the tables, places two bags on the counter and walks away. Never said, "your are all set" or "here's your order", just placed the bags and walked away. I had to ask if the two bags were my order and if I was all set, simple yes is all I got. Picked up the order, got in my car and drove home. Chicken - they were dried unfortunately. outside was seasoned, but interior of the chicken was bland. "Living in Florida now, I miss Big Boy. My friend told me a new Big Boy opened in Farmington. We went there for lunch today. The owner welcomed us and showed us you order at the counter, which is a new concept for Big Boy. We ordered a Big Boy combo and the hot fudge ice cream cake. Yum. The burger was as good as I remember! The waffle fries were fun and delicious. The star of the show was definitely dessert. The hot fudge ice cream cake was truly delicious and decadent and we left content and happy. It was as wonderful as I remember and recommend this Big Boy experience highly."

Provided a Styrofoam (wow) 16 oz cup for fountain drinks, I waited approximately 8 minutes for my order. Received in a basket, a small container of tartar sauce, coleslaw, crispy fries, and two fillets of fried catfish. At first, it was obvious it was generally a fair deal; about 20 bucks for a pretty large serving. The fish seemed well seasoned with the amount of black pepper in the batter, but unfortunately it wasn't. The fish and chips were both fried perfectly, but needed just bit more flavor - a little more salt, paprika, etc. Ketchup was requested as there isn't any available for self serve.I went back to my room with a greasy layer on my clothes - too bad it wasn't a very flavorful layer."

My car led me to Lee's Famous Recipe Chicken located in a plaza located on the southeast corner of Plymouth and Farmington roads. They promote their Premium chicken stands the test of time since 1946!Lee's was busy with diners in the drive thru and inside. They have high top and regular table seating options. There were only a few seats available. Today was a day for several officers of the law dining in. The service was quick with a short wait. I was glad to see that they had my favorite drink, Unsweet Tea (and Sweet) freshly brewed for purchase by the gallon. Note: It states it is to be consumed in 48 hours. I ordered the local favorite 4 piece meal of Lee's Famous Recipe Chicken. It came with a choice of two sides. I chose the Cajun rice and green beans. This is accompanied by Lee's famous biscuit. The meal was good. I could have used a large portion of the green beans. I would love to return to try their fish options."

Quick fast diner-esque style food, no bells or whistles.Parkside delivered much of that.....First, they get MAJOR props for not serving canned corned beef hash. I appreciate the time put into making this fresh. Only drawback is I have a container full of grease from this being made freshly on the flat top grill. A piece of parchment paper in the container before the food goes in would help to soak up some of this.. I also order wing dings.. nothing wrong with them .. however how do you serve wings in this city with out ranch? Or at least notating it does not come with so we can order it. Never gotten wings here with no ranch... ugh (insert eye roll) This isn't he closest coney to my home and only ventured out to show local businesses some support during this covid19 situation. My boyfriend got the spicy burger they're currently advertising and we both got fries. We also got a chocolate toffee milkshake to split.The burger is always a solid 4/5 for me at Shake Shack and the fries are maybe 3-3.5 ... They're basically Ore Ida fries. Shake is always a 5/5 and the chocolate toffee one didn't disappoint, although I like their cookies & cream one more.Overall 4/5 stars for this location, then - fries and burger was a bit lukewarm but it's like a 15-20 minute drive away so I can't blame them for that."

First of all the food is delicious. We got the Byrd Bomb and Bomb Bites with Crispy green beans. I got medium on the bomb and my family went plain and mild for their food. All spice levels were appropriate. Good quality chicken as well!
