"My desire for an affogato brought me into Kahve on this unseasonably warm day, it definitely hit the spot. This is one of my favorite places to work, gather for coffee or simply relax. You're not going to get the same aesthetic as some of the more ritzy spots in the Woodward corridor, but you'll get a good cup of jo' and never have to argue over an outlet. I'm not sure what some reviewers are talking about, but it's actually a pretty calm and quiet place usually. There's some tables, couches and outdoor seating in the warmer months. Seating is never an issue and the customer service is friendly and warm. I consider it to be a staple in the downtown Clawson community that shouldn't be passed up."
"Great peppermint mocha and fresh muffins, Very friendly and pleasant to do business with. Quaint little coffee shop, that's warm and cozy. Definitely will recommend to friends and family."

"I really like this spot in Flat Rock. There's such a nice feel and warm environment to the place, and the staff are really great. Blue Heron is what my local coffee spot should be. If you're looking for a spot to have a coffee and relax, this is a spot to try! I've had both their hot coffee and nitro cold brew, and both were great. Their prices are reasonable and are on-par with other local coffee shops that I have visited. I stop here sometimes after a long Saturday morning bike ride, and they have great gifts, food items, etc available as well. Definitely worth a stop if you're in the Flat Rock, MI area."
"I went through the drive through (they have a drive through!) and got their house latte w oat milk. I don't usually do sweetened lattes so I asked for it less sweet. This may have been the best latte I've ever had. It was spiced with cardamom and cinnamon (like chai), and was the perfect balance. I'll definitely be back! I love the location as well. Super busy on this street but weirdly not a lot of other coffee, and definitely not with drive-thru. Prices are a touch high (not a fan of extra charge for non-dairy), but on par with *that other very popular coffee chain with the green mermaid.* Well worth the splurge.I did not go inside but it's well lit and looks cute through the window. I'll be back w my laptop! Love the late hours as well. (Open til 10 the day I went)"
"They are just wonderful at Scooters. Friendly and patient and their food and drink is very tasty."
"The food was very good. We were impressed and will be ordering again. The location was interesting, being half restaurant, half Indian grocery."
"My wife and I were at at the eastern market around 11 AM. All the usual eating spots in the market had lines outside. She has to go to restroom. We hopped in the car left the market. I saw the sign and open door on this place. Made a right off of Gratiot on to a brick alley. Follow it around back. I found a parking lot and an open back door. Wife answered the call. I ordered food and coffee. She had a pour over decaf and I had a regular coffee. She has the breakfast sandwich and I had the breakfast taco. Everything was 5 star. Nice place to hang out or meet up with a group."
"I'm obsessed with their coffee. Haven't went anyplace ever since I tried their iced coffee. Best I've ever had. Can't forget their amazing cookies always so delicious and addicting."
"Service was great and friendly. Customer service was top tier. Ambience is calm, cozy, and pleasant. Dessert was spectacular and unique! The strawberry Milk cake was nothing short of perfection. 1/3/2025"
"Located in the beautiful Guardian building downtown. This little coffee stand might seem like your typical museum coffee shop brewing Starbucks Pike Place beans, but their baristas are good at what they do and use good old Great Lakes coffee. Latte art and all. A nice peaceful venue to break for a cup of coffee."
"The bagels balls are delicious as well as the coffee. The staff is always kind and helpful."
"I love eating here. The place is small but that's okay because the atmosphere is pretty cool for a small town restaurant surrounded by larger establishments. The food is good, I haven't had anything that I don't like."

Finally went here today for the first time - I parked in the back and then you follow the signs around to Kahve. My first impression wasn't great, but it soon improved. I was meeting a friend who was already there, and I came in and sat down and saw they had WiFi. "WiFi is for customers" said the cashier.... Okay. I just sat down, what makes you think I'm not buying anything?I ended up getting a chai tea latte with almond milk ($3.75) which was good but a little spicy. They pour it into a regular mug which was nice; made it feel homey. Their non-coffee menu (I'm not a coffee drinker) looked fantastic: they have both frozen and Mexican hot chocolate, as well as all sorts of teas.I like supporting local businesses so I'll be back at some point.

Amaizngly nice people. I come here often, and they usually know what I want when I come in. I feel I'm always greeted and sometimes they have my order when I show up.The coffee and teats are really good. Good prices. I'd recommend coming here.

It always makes me happy finding a unique small business in the Downriver area. I'm new to tea, and was originally going to drive out to the Tea Haus in Ann Arbor. However, a friend recommended I check out Blue Huron--I'm glad I did! The store has a very chill, relaxing vibe with unexpected items. In addition to a large coffee and tea section, there are many great gift items. Tea pots, purses, decor, etc. The best was that they sell their own Michigan made Balsamics! If you're newbie like me, you can sample various teas/coffees! The staff was very knowledgable and friendly. They also carry Harney & Sons tea. Although you can order it online, I'd MUCH prefer to spend my money locally--and you can try before you buy!

Comestibles and Potables. No dark roast, but coffee acceptable. I do prefer the pastries. All housemade and DELICIOUS. Had the Adeni Tea -- rich chai-like; Chocolate Chip Cookie -- fresh and chocolatey; Pistacho Cheesecake -- pistachio forward and rich. ALL GOOD.Vibe. OK. EVERY FRIGGIN TABLE WAS OCCUPIED WITH STUDENTS OR BUSINESS PEOPLE. Love the open space and ton of natural light. However, very cold. Music was not discernable, but the people next to us were loud.Hospitality. SUPER friendly and knowledgeable. They also have a drive-thru.Of note. Loo cleaned and stocked. They have their own lot parking.Overall. Will return.

Had some people pick-up a latte at Scooter's; they were back very quickly despite the long-line. The pumpkin spice latte was flavorful and strong (as it should be) and wasn't too sweet (flavored latte w/ sugar-free syrup). If I was driving through Brighton again and wanted coffee, I'll stop by Scooter's.

Okay...third visit and just as delicious as the previous two. Wow. I had the chicken Manchurian, the lamb kadai, and chicken korma. While all three were excellent, that lamb is a standout dish. I wanted to drill a hole in my leg for extra storage and just keep eating lol. Also, the plain dosa (rice crepe) with chutney and parrotta (tender and flaky bread) are must haves. We also met the chef who was so kind and answered all our questions about the dishes. This will be a once a week visit for sure for me. So glad this is now in South Lyon close to my work (the high school). Come support them!

Trinosophes / Warda Pâtisserie has some of the best buttermilk biscuits and breakfast sandwiches in town. Named one of the country's best new restaurants by Bon Appétit in 2019, Trinosophes is located across from Eastern Market and has ample parking for customers across the back entrance of the restaurant. From the food to the décor, Trinosophes proves that less is more. The dining area is simply decorated with plants and minimalist furniture, giving a bright and spacious feeling. Sometimes the most delectable meals are the simplest with high-quality ingredients. For brunch, I ordered a glass of 100% Traverse City cherry juice and a vegetarian breakfast sandwich with a fried egg, white cheddar, garlic aioli, and pickle. For non-Michiganders, Traverse City produces the best cherries in the state and is known for its cherry festival every summer. My breakfast sandwich tasted freshly made from homemade ingredients. The buttermilk biscuit was to die for - very fluffy, buttery, and soft - not hard and crumbly like the biscuits that are typically found at other cafés and restaurants. I don't think I can go back to eating other breakfast biscuits again. Pickles aren't typically found in breakfast sandwiches, but it went surprisingly well with the garlic aioli and the runny egg yolk. My sandwich was the definition of gourmet breakfast food.I'm not into pastries, but what was left looked tasty. I recommend visiting as early in the morning as possible for pastries because they run out quickly. Almost everything was gone when I arrived in the afternoon. I will be returning for the biscuits and to try other menu items. Definitely one of the best new restaurants in Detroit and a must-visit for its drinks, food, and pastries.

I got the iced lavender matcha latte and it was pretty good for what I was expecting. Only 1 worker at the front but he made my drink pretty quickly . This was my first time trying and I would go again. The drink was around $6 after tax

"Ok. Gave it another chance. This time my son and I visited. Service was good. We started with plantain chip appetizer. Food was delivered hot and delicious. I spoke to Nadia, the owner, whom I had earlier shared my disappointment with my first visit. This dining experience was much better."
"The nicest baristas! Always helpful and happy. It's hard to get one of their bearclaws, they sell fast. Muffins are really good as well. I've been here a few times and their lattes have never disappointed me. Occasionally the lines can be long but they usually move fast. Outdoor seating area looks kept up in warmer weather."
"We love the Ferndale shop, this one is equally delicious! We had a coffee, a chai latte and a brownie. Did not disappoint! So happy to have a coffee shop down the street that isn't a big chain. The barista was super sweet too"
"A friend took me to Shaghf cafe in the Sterling Heights location and the coffee is QUALITY. You can tell that this is a place that specializes in coffee because of the machines they use, and the care they put into each drink.I loved the coffee so much that I went to the other location in Canton the next day. Service was excellent, we had lots of questions about the different drinks and the barista was so patient with us. Sterling Heights gets extra points for using the cans and pouches which added a nice touch to the drinks! The ambiance was 10/10, both the canton and Sterling Heights locations were unique and gorgeous and I would come back again and again!!"
"Cool cafe! Fun vibe, sleek decor, excellent service and high quality coffee. Located in Nickels Arcade. Great location. Indoor and outdoor seating. I loved my mocha and my friend enjoyed her cappuccino. They are also well known for their variety of pour over coffee, which are individualized. I appreciate that there are signs on the tables to discourage laptops and encourage conversations."
"I was pleasantly surprised by this place! Everything we ordered was delicious. looks very clean from the window and the people that work there are very nice and helpful with picking from the menu. Love that it's a drive thru so I don't have to change out of my pjs lol. I can't wait to try out something else, since they have a wide selection."
"I've recently started coming to Dairy Fairies. The ambience and atmosphere is really nice and relaxing with instrumental music of all genres that just puts you in such a good mood. My favorite coffees and treats here would have to be a caramel macchiato with sweet cold foam, I get my caramel sugar free for diet restrictions, but the staff will work with you to customize as best as they can to your liking. I also like the egg and cheese on a croissant or a bagel. Really hits the spot! The staff are really friendly and personable people. They have fun treats such as crepes, milk cakes, boba tea which is a fun item to have on the menu, I haven't seen a lot of cafes offer that around here, so that's a nice twist! I've tried the lotus milk cake and it is really good. They also have the Dubai bar and sell the entire bar or the pieces in individual squares for $1 each. This place is nice for friends, families, students and is a great co working space!"
"Large selection. Very beautiful inside. Dubai Chocolate is amazing but a little pricey."
"Had a great quick sandwich and look forward to trying out there coffee and pressed juice (bottled). The sandwich had turkey and avocado and was like the best sandwich you can make home between two slices of bread with good ingredients, but with a delicious dressing and panini'd.Really beautiful outdoor space wasn't expecting this at all. Thanks for Google for bringing me here and now I add to Yelp!Would be a great place for an event"
"Very yummy bubble tea! You can customize your order to just what you like. It shares a spot with the terry melt which also looked delish. Will be back"
"We were in the area for a real estate closing and planned to grab lunch at another place we found on Yelp. But when we arrived it looked deserted; that's when we noticed that they're closed on Tuesdays, a little unusual as many places close on Mondays if they are off one day a week. It was properly noted on Yelp so...my fault. Checking Yelp for an alternative, I found this Ram's Horn just a short distance away and still not too far from the closing office. It has been a number of years since we last visited a Ram's Horn restaurant and we remembered that they had reasonable prices and good portions of a variety of dishes. It's tucked away such that we drove past it and had to navigate our way back around through construction but finally figured it out. Upon entering we were met with a friendly greeting, seated immediately, and given menus while our drink orders were taken.Since it has been a while and we chose this location at the last minute we needed to study the menu for a few minutes before we decided. My wife being the healthy eater chose a Grilled Veggie Pita Wrap and instead of Fries subbed for a cup of Chicken Noodle Soup. I decided to try the Ram's Horn Club with Fries (I realized too late that I could have also switched to soup, salad, etc) and added a cup of Split Pea Soup. The soups came out almost immediately and they were hot hot hot...and good. We both liked the Split Pea best; the Chicken Noodle was a bit saltier. The Grilled Veggie Wrap was very nice and tasty with some Honey Mustard sauce on the side. The Ram's Horn Club was also very good; it was basically a BLT with generous slices of Turkey added. The Turkey was a bit dry as real turkey often is but still worth it. The Fries were served hot with crispy outside and soft inside and I'm glad I ordered them, even though I was struggling to finish everything.Overall this was a great alternative choice for us with friendly service (thanks Linda), reasonable prices, decent portions, and tasty food. They do have a few tables for outside dining while the weather still permits. All this and they even offer senior and veterans discounts! Oh, and they also managed to offer all this and clean restrooms, too!"
"The staff was delightful. The shop was nicely decorated, and very clean .The coffee was delicious. What more could a person need?"
"My son grabbed lunch from here. He choose the Peanut Butter crunch wrap, the cinnamon roll French toast, a mixed berry and Apple crunch smoothie. The smoothies were great, both tasted good. I also enjoyed the wrap, the peanut butter is good and the wrap definitely could have used more of it. Also I didn't have much sliced banana on mine. My son preferred the cinnamon roll French toast. I definitely would recommend"
"AMBIANCE. Small, quaint, cozy. This coffee shop used to be called Shaded Bloom that had a short-lived appearance in LO. Seemed that not much has changed except slighty the seating in the center, it's name, and later hours (THANK YOU!!). Cute name, btw!SERVICE. MUCH MORE FRIENDLIER than previous. Accommodating. PRODUCTS. All wonderful.... creative. More housemade baked good choices. The shortbread was too soft for my preference. Does everyone like SOFT AND CHEWY cookies and shortbread, these days, like seniors that have dentures or infants that need soft foods?! But I digress... Also, just wished they had DARK ROAST coffee offered. But that is JUST ME being an unapologetic coffee snob.OF NOTE. Metered and street parking. Loo is the common lobby; clean, stocked.Overall, will come again."
"Great spot for ice cream and coffee, we stopped for lattes while we looked for a breakfast spot and didn't want Starbucks. Very friendly staff and delicious coffee."
"Love this place! Absolutely the best latte around us. Very friendly barista. Cool design inside as well"
"I stopped by City Coffeehouse on the morning of a job interview. Free street parking was available and I was able to park right outside the front entrance. City Coffeehouse seemed like a regular with the locals for its friendly service and cozy environment with lots of comfortable seating and outlets. A cup of tea and a warm cheese croissant were just what I needed to calm my nerves and fill my tummy. I went to my interview after City Coffeehouse and later got the job, so now I see this cafe as a lucky spot and will return!"
"They have THE nicest customer service here. I needed a cake kind of last minute and they were so helpful and kind and provided a BEAUTIFUL and delicious cake for me. They also have a wonderful gluten free selection. We have some with gluten intolerances in the family, and they have a good amount of gluten free (GF) treats you normally don't see like GF cheesecake cups, GF cookies, GF "cosmic brownies". Their GF cakes are like no other. Usually they can be dry, but I could not tell the difference between that and a regular cake. Amazing! Will always support this wonderful, friendly, and delicious bakery."
"Amazing service! Everyone was super friendly and eager to take my order. I even got a punch card in case I come back for more. Love the flavor options and speciality drinks they had featured. I got an iced blackberry latte here and it was delicious! They have a very cool drive thru experience here with two lanes and someone comes right up to your car for you to order. It's very personal and human, it's hard to not feel connected to this place! Only con was trying to get out of their drive thru. It's placed not so conveniently in the middle of a busy intersection. I was scared to leave the parking lot into a sharp right turn full of traffic. Would definitely come back but not during rush hour!"
"Fantastic coffee (so says my partner) and even friendlier service. This is a great locally owned shop. A great supporter of downtown Berkley, their new home. I follow them on social media and they are always having cute coffee tastings and new coffee combinations."
"I enjoy their good food, nice ambiance, and very friendly people. I definitely will return."
"This cute little shop is the perfect place for a delicious treat. They have macarons at $3 a piece, cookies $1.90-3 a piece depending on the kind, and brownies for $3.75. They have specialty lattes to go with your treat along with frozen ones.If you do get a cookie, the salted caramel is amazing. The staff asked if I wanted it warmed up. It tasted better warmed up. They sometimes have day old cookies or broken ones for a cheaper price. Those cookies taste just as good as the fresh ones! The macarons are amazing. They are fluffy and have the perfect amount of filling. They have a variety of flavors to choose from as well."
"Absolutely love this coffee shop. Their lattes have the perfect foam and their seasonal syrups are delicious. I really like their cinnamon syrup but the orange blossom is also delicious. The baristas are super knowledgeable and the service is great."
