"My desire for an affogato brought me into Kahve on this unseasonably warm day, it definitely hit the spot.This is one of my favorite places to work, gather for coffee or simply relax. You're not going to get the same aesthetic as some of the more ritzy spots in the Woodward corridor, but you'll get a good cup of jo' and never have to argue over an outlet. I'm not sure what some reviewers are talking about, but it's actually a pretty calm and quiet place usually. There's some tables, couches and outdoor seating in the warmer months. Seating is never an issue and the customer service is friendly and warm. I consider it to be a staple in the downtown Clawson community that shouldn't be passed up."

Their prices are reasonable and are on-par with other local coffee shops that I have visited. I stop here sometimes after a long Saturday morning bike ride, and they have great gifts, food items, etc available as well. Definitely worth a stop if you're in the Flat Rock, MI area."

"I went through the drive through (they have a drive through!) and got their house latte w oat milk. I don't usually do sweetened lattes so I asked for it less sweet. This may have been the best latte I've ever had. It was spiced with cardamom and cinnamon (like chai), and was the perfect balance. I'll definitely be back! I love the location as well. Super busy on this street but weirdly not a lot of other coffee, and definitely not with drive-thru. Prices are a touch high (not a fan of extra charge for non-dairy), but on par with *that other very popular coffee chain with the green mermaid.* Well worth the splurge.I did not go inside but it's well lit and looks cute through the window. I'll be back w my laptop! Love the late hours as well. (Open til 10 the day I went)"

"My wife and I were at at the eastern market around 11 AM. All the usual eating spots in the market had lines outside. She has to go to restroom. We hopped in the car left the market. I saw the sign and open door on this place. Made a right off of Gratiot on to a brick alley. Follow it around back. I found a parking lot and an open back door. Wife answered the call. I ordered food and coffee. She had a pour over decaf and I had a regular coffee. She has the breakfast sandwich and I had the breakfast taco. Everything was 5 star. Nice place to hang out or meet up with a group."

"A friend took me to Shaghf cafe in the Sterling Heights location and the coffee is QUALITY. You can tell that this is a place that specializes in coffee because of the machines they use, and the care they put into each drink.I loved the coffee so much that I went to the other location in Canton the next day. Service was excellent, we had lots of questions about the different drinks and the barista was so patient with us. Sterling Heights gets extra points for using the cans and pouches which added a nice touch to the drinks! The ambiance was 10/10, both the canton and Sterling Heights locations were unique and gorgeous and I would come back again and again!!"

"I've recently started coming to Dairy Fairies. ‍ The ambience and atmosphere is really nice and relaxing with instrumental music of all genres that just puts you in such a good mood. My favorite coffees and treats here would have to be a caramel macchiato with sweet cold foam, I get my caramel sugar free for diet restrictions, but the staff will work with you to customize as best as they can to your liking. I also like the egg and cheese on a croissant or a bagel. Really hits the spot! The staff are really friendly and personable people. They have fun treats such as crepes, milk cakes, boba tea which is a fun item to have on the menu, I haven't seen a lot of cafes offer that around here, so that's a nice twist! I've tried the lotus milk cake and it is really good. They also have the Dubai bar and sell the entire bar or the pieces in individual squares for $1 each. This place is nice for friends, families, students and is a great co working space!"

But when we arrived it looked deserted; that's when we noticed that they're closed on Tuesdays, a little unusual as many places close on Mondays if they are off one day a week. It was properly noted on Yelp so...my fault. Checking Yelp for an alternative, I found this Ram's Horn just a short distance away and still not too far from the closing office.It has been a number of years since we last visited a Ram's Horn restaurant and we remembered that they had reasonable prices and good portions of a variety of dishes. It's tucked away such that we drove past it and had to navigate our way back around through construction but finally figured it out. Upon entering we were met with a friendly greeting, seated immediately, and given menus while our drink orders were taken.Since it has been a while and we chose this location at the last minute we needed to study the menu for a few minutes before we decided. My wife being the healthy eater chose a Grilled Veggie Pita Wrap and instead of Fries subbed for a cup of Chicken Noodle Soup. I decided to try the Ram's Horn Club with Fries (I realized too late that I could have also switched to soup, salad, etc) and added a cup of Split Pea Soup.The soups came out almost immediately and they were hot hot hot...and good. We both liked the Split Pea best; the Chicken Noodle was a bit saltier. The Grilled Veggie Wrap was very nice and tasty with some Honey Mustard sauce on the side. The Ram's Horn Club was also very good; it was basically a BLT with generous slices of Turkey added. The Turkey was a bit dry as real turkey often is but still worth it. The Fries were served hot with crispy outside and soft inside and I'm glad I ordered them, even though I was struggling to finish everything.Overall this was a great alternative choice for us with friendly service (thanks Linda), reasonable prices, decent portions, and tasty food. They do have a few tables for outside dining while the weather still permits. All this and they even offer senior and veterans discounts! Oh, and they also managed to offer all this and clean restrooms, too!"

We have some with gluten intolerances in the family, and they have a good amount of gluten free (GF) treats you normally don't see like GF cheesecake cups, GF cookies, GF "cosmic brownies". Their GF cakes are like no other. Usually they can be dry, but I could not tell the difference between that and a regular cake. Amazing!
