"Roasting Plant is a quaint shop that is great to get work done or do some people watching of scenic Campus Martius. The coffee is usually hit or miss but what makes it worth it is the employees who are always so patient and sweet. They do have a vegan breakfast burrito that has saved me more times than I can count on a busy morning. I'm not a super huge coffee person and usually get a chai or ice tea so it's worth trying for yourself."
"This local coffee shop on the downtown strip of Brighton is great. The shop has a hipster rustic, cozy feel to it. My bf buys their Chiapas blend of beans whenever we're in town-they make a mighty tasty brew. Every pastry and coffee I've had from here has been delicious. Service is super friendly too."
"Best mocha I have had in quite some time. Little shop in the Eastern Market area, great to stop before or after walking through the market to get hot drink to warm up. Staff was friendly and served up the coffee promptly."
"Very very delicious coffee and friendly people working here. I got a latte three days in a row and it was perfect every time, perfect foam and flavor. Highly recommend this spot!"

I loved my cardamom rose latte here!Lots of coffee choices. A coffee lovers dream! Fast and friendly service and good vibes. Located in a cool, older building in historic downtown Detroit. The location is great, near the town square, Campus Martius. Comfy seating options available but it feels like more of a carry out place. It felt like a narrow space to me because there is a large coffee display in the middle. It looks really cool but makes the space feel smaller to me.I'll definitely stop by and get more coffees to go.

Man, Brighton is lucky to have this gem of a spot downtown. Part theatre, part shop, part spacious coffee house, all amazing. The first thing you notice is the space. There's tons of it and it's decorated in such a charming way, with loads of seating including both tables and dining chairs as well as more casual couches and chairs for lounging, giving the place a real cosy, homey atmosphere. There's a fireplace in one wall, and a piano in the room as well, reminding you that they're an arts space as well. I saw every kind of visitor here--younger folks studying, kids and small children enjoying beverages and snacks, business meetings, friends meeting up, grab and go guests, and folks like me, solo workers looking for a place to park and catch up on email. Everyone is welcome here. They also have a couple of beautiful outdoor spaces, one that looks out into the pond behind the building, and a few tables in the front along main street. They roast their own beans here which is a pretty good indicator that they're more than just a cool space, they probably have some great drinks here too. The coffee counter is spacious and offers quite a spread of baked goods. If you're more hungry than snacky they also have a few soups and sandwiches on the menu. I personally went for a cinnamon twist and a turnover and both were wonderful. For my beverage I opted for a mocha and it was also very well done. I haven't had the pleasure of enjoying the theatre component of their building but for excellent food, bev, and atmosphere it makes for a more than fine spot to spend your time.

Cool coffee roastery in a very cool area across from the Eastern Market. Cafe Ole, according to my connoisseur coffee, was excellent. Was told my specialty Columbian chemex made coffee needed to be had black. Was excellent. Baked goods look tasty. One weird thing was the tip sign on the register. Not diggin that.

This is the best coffee place in Howell. Great atmosphere, excellent baristas, and the best tasting coffee around. Uptown has more variety, but for my money Black Iron has the taste, no doubt.

This place looks small on the outside but is huge inside! It's very quiet, perfect for studying or doing work. The seats are comfortable, and the lighting is very bright. I got the Qamaria latte with less sugar. It was delicious! The perfect blend of coffee and spices. Would definitely get it again. I also got the kunafa cheesecake and it was like a NY cheesecake with kunafa on top. Not the biggest fan of kunafa but it was good. Overall, I'd come here again to do homework! There are also outlets to charge your electronics.

"My wife and I loved our visit to Qamaria Coffee. Outside, Qamaria looks smallish, but inside there is a lot of space and varied seating. My wife and I opted for the couch/coffee table set up near the back of the cafe.My wife ordered her standard mocha with oat milk while I opted for the Qamaria Latte (which has cardamom and cinnamon) with oat milk. We were both very impressed with our drinks. I was especially blown away with how much I enjoyed the cardamom in the coffee. At some point the barista came over to check on our orders and then got into a conversation with us. He was so nice and went out of his way to make us feel welcome. Before leaving, I had to order a second latte. This time I opted for the Pistachio. Good, but didn't love it as much as the Qamaria Latte. Should've doubled down on that one. All in all, a top notch experience."
"The employees there were super friendly and helpful. I got a hazelnut latte that was excellent, and I love that all of their profits go to fight human-trafficking. Highly recommend!"
