"The staff are friendly and gr8 with kids... that's always a bonus for me The kraze chicken sandwich - regular and spicy - are on point so are the boneless wings My son took Mac and cheese as his side and it's kind of in the salty side and black pepper The layout is spacious so it's not crushed when you dine in"
"Best soy garlic drumsticks. Not only it's crunchy and flavorful but also juicy. Korean bbq sauce is a bit tangy and has that acquired taste of gochujang sauce. I prefer soy garlic sauce. Surprisingly we got the food within 5 mins which is very quick. Probably we went there right when they opened. Great customer service, dining area is clean too. Parking is easy. Will definitely come back"

"Service was real. Chicken was fall of bone. fried right not gonna dog that. hot sauce was packets (cholula ) im not gonna hate on that. i prefer franks or house made, rare ik) cornbread was super burned in oven. could taste bad oven. (maybe bad day?) gave me green beans insted of collard greens. took a bite to try im like ok im not gonna say nothin, i dont like those so dont take my opinion on it but it ok for green beans i guess. was craving collard greens when i even stopped so i went back in. got my greens. seem canned. most place add a lil salt to the greens alternate flavor. kool aid i got was blue rasp. good but $4 cuz its in a jar im gonna throw away? anyways no mind it was worth the refresh . red beans n rice. bland no salt no pepper and im not a seasonor. bland almost minute white rice with red beans just put on top no stir legit try to stir and stained my shirt but thats my problem anyway, i guess thats my job anyway anywhere i go. fast move line work. im not one to leave reviews unless its good or unsatisfactory. i get the hole in the wall thing. i give love to that. as said chicken slapped good out of 3-4 on the half to mile run on 9 mile. but all and all with price and everything else. other spots im been trying place business with. sorry. thanks though. thank u for the woman giving me my collard greens when i came back in. thanks. service good. 3 out of 5 because wings were fall off bone i ate all the meat off them. if the chicken was bad i would have probably 2 because im not a 1star type."
"Please visit new wave chicken, fish, and pizza. Walley helped us out a lot, we bought a lot of pizzas; they turned out amazing. ~Shawntae Collins"
"Me and my boyfriend came here for the first time on Christmas! We both ordered ribeye cooked medium and a watermelon flavored cocktail. The drink was amazing! He thought it was a bit too sweet but I loved it! We placed our order and waited one hour! The supervisor came out and told us that the steaks was not cooked to his standards, apologized and paid for our meal for the night! We were so thrilled! When the steaks finally came they were excellent! Cooked to perfection! We will be back to enjoy this steak and everything else they have to offer!"
"Excellent service from the parking lot to inside. Staff was very friendly and full of smiles, you can tell they liked being there and we were more than welcome to come in and enjoy ourselves. It was quiet and the ambiance made you feel right at home. Our waitress was super nice and made sure we were well taken care of. I ordered the fried wings that were cooked to perfection in looks and taste. The BBQ sauce looked really nice, a little bit too tangy for my tongue but good! We will most definitely return with a few more friends."
"First time at this establishment. I must admit, I was VERY IMPRESSED. Food was delicious. I had the steak and cheese sub. Ingredients were fresh. I will definitely be back."
"The food here is always good. I love their steak sub and wings. The sauce is cool. The people always greet us when we pick up our lunch. They have great lunch specials. The one in hamtramck now has a seating area."
"New Yorker here, born and bred... that being said, I'm a passionate pizza eater... it's in my DNA. A true measure of a pizzeria is a plain cheese pie, where you can taste the dough, sauce and cheese in its basic form. I didn't order that pie, but instead, I ordered a large Calzone. Why? I was jonesing for one.Let's start off with basics. A stone lined oven. Old school. A stone oven offers flavors a conveyor belt will never. It takes a proper skillset to successfully manage a stone oven. The Calzone: The dough was a nice, consistent golden brown on top, dark brown on bottom, offering that "char" taste, without the char. The dough was tender, yet had a good bite and a proper crumb. It was done, from the fold, to the seam. Proper bake time for sure, with good rotation. The sauce: Balanced. Not too acidic, not to salty, not too sweet. The basil made its presence known, and was on the front, so it lended a nice "bright" and "fresh" taste to it.The Meats: I ordered mine with ham and bacon. Excellent distribution and portion, there was meat in every bite. The cheese: A blend of Mozzarella, Provolone and Munster... and that too, evenly distributed with a good portion.Final verdict: The size of the large Calzone is enough for two meals, the value is on point. Aesthetically, it's beautiful... color, shape, everything. Overall, a mighty fine Calzone. The only thing I would change, is to replace the Munster cheese with Ricotta. The Ricotta, being a sweeter cheese, would cut the saltiness of the ham and bacon, add some creaminess to the other cheeses, and keep the ingredients nice and moist. Add Ricotta, and you would have one stellar product (but don't ask for it, they don't carry it).Even with the lack of Ricotta, I still give 5 stars, the place is clean, staff friendly, and the other products we purchased were delicious. Plus, local "mom 'n' pop" shop, to which I'll always support... you can "taste the love"..."
"I enjoyed my carry out pepperoni and mushroom pizza! I like their logo and slogan on the box too. Friendly service.Very tasty and I would definitely return."
"The gluten free fried chicken is amazing. My family has three people with celiac in it, and wow were they happy when we found this place! Great gluten free chicken, and the regular is the best I've had in Michigan. The fries are great, huge and dark brown and so tasty. Awesome shakes too, and lots of dipping sauces for the chicken. I've also really enjoyed the biscuits and green beans. Yes, green beans, they're cooked in all sorts of fatty goodness and I love them. This is one of our regular places now and if you have celiac, it's an absolute gem."
"Best broasted chicken around for years. The fried perch is also delicious. Anytime someone gets chicken for a banquet or party this is where they go. If you like broasted chicken give it a try."

So I tried Bonchon this weekend with my boyfriend. We had a mini feast with the Soy garlic chicken, galbi fries and the corn side! We really enjoyed it. We ordered our food for carry out and it was ready in a reasonable amount of time, too! I've tried a few different Korean fried chicken places and we both were satisfied. It's not the MOST mind blowing I've had, but I was craving it and it really hit the spot! To be fair, the best I EVER had was in Canada and it remains truly hard to beat, so I still recommend trying this place as I believe it's one of the only with korean chicken around the area. It was crunchy and flavorful. Side note: The corn side was not my favorite, I expected more cheesiness

The prices here are reasonable and the food is good. They run nice deals on bigger portions, making it great if you are sharing with a crowd carry out style. They have coupons and will often let you have food at the coupon prices even if you don't possess one before you go in, just ask because they are pretty nice. They also will generally give you some coupons to take home too. They have very nice chicken, decent catfish (I prefer the place down the street) and excellent shrimp. I have not tried the ocean perch or whiting because I am not a fan of either anywhere. I think the crispy yet juicy chicken wings are my personal faves. I would have to say as a general rule I find the chicken and shrimp here to be the superior options to any of the fish options. The typical fries, small portions of slaw and white bread are nothing to write home about. We like getting the chicken to go on its own instead, delaying the heart attacks and saving some calories by eating it with our homemade veggie or salad type sides at home.Give it a whirl if you are nearby, it makes a quick dinner at reasonable prices.

This was my first time getting to eat here! It's always packed and so hard to get in without a reservation. We came early and had dinner and the food was good. I ordered the chef burger which was stuffed with goat cheese, cream cheese, andGarlic aioli. It was good but was a bit of a mess to eat. The flavor was delicious and the fries were cooked well. This is the place to be if you want to watch the game, have a beer and eat some good food.

The wings are absolutely delicious but the service is going to make it hard for me to go back to get some. I ordered over the phone and was told 20 minutes but it was almost 50 before I was served my food. When time is of the essence, it doesn't matter how good the food is.

Detroit is not exactly a hot bed of Late Night food spots (besides Coneys) so I was very happy to find Albasha. I stay up late and it's been a reliable option when you don't feel like chili fries for the 100th time. Their Chicken Shwarma is really good and they customize it for you. I love a lot of garlic and super toasted, and that always gets done. I also get their Fatoosh Salad when I want something a little lighter and it's really good, especially the chicken quality. The area around the shop is quite safe, and when you walk in everyone in the shop is incredibly pleasant and accommodating. At 1 AM, I'm not really in the mood to have to earn the respect of the counter person, and you'll never have any issues here. Overall, it's awesome and affordable and I'm going to keep coming back

"My go to spot! Food is clean, cheap and delicious. The service is wonderful, the guys know me and my order now and they treat everyone like a friend."
"Excellent cheese steak. One of the best in metro Detroit. Wish I discovered it sooner."
"My son told me how great the chicken sandwich was, but I had to try the bibimbap. Take a look at the picture: they give you a lot, and it's beautiful. I ordered carryout, so I don't know if the rice is the traditional way, sizzling on the inside of a stone bowl. It's really the thing that makes the dish. And, the carryout contained steamed rice.Steamed rice, and a lot more: cabbage, corn, beans, celery, carrots, rice noodles, and a choose of several different proteins. I got the spicy pork. They also include lettuce for some reason. It is high-quality, but it doesn't belong here. I seriously picked every bit of it out. They had a fried egg on top, and a fair amount of gochujang, although I could have used more. With all that going on, I can overlook for a bit the fact that the rice is not sizzling. This masterpiece was also prepared quickly. They told me it would take about 10 minutes, but it was closer to 6. I'm genuinely concerned that there might not be enough business to keep the doors open, but they have definitely gained a new customer."
"This place used to be awful, but they have improved so much since Oxford tap purchased them. I love their fish tacos, a little pricier than I would normally pay though."
"We ordered take out from here for a party and ordered 4 speciality halal pizza, 1 cheese pizza and breadsticks. Everything was sooo good! This is a must try halal pizza spot! What we enjoyed:- The variety of halal pizza options. - The pizzas were fresh, not too greasy and the crust was so soft! - Pizzas that we ordered: chicken shawarma pizza, alfredo chicken pizza, cheese pizza, buffalo chicken, and mediterranean pizza.- Our faves: the mediterranean and the chicken shawarma."
"I don't have pictures but honestly, all it takes is ONE sandwich and you'll be hooked. I would travel a decent distance for these unreal bites. My son is a heat addict and these chicken sandwiches hit the mark even with his taste for super fiery food! I order mine with no spice and it's enough for two people to share. It's got a good price point considering the massive sandwich and ridiculously tasty fries. Geeked that we live nearby to indulge on a regular basis. The only thing I would change is that there was more room to sit and eat. This is definitely a grab & go spot. (Although that may have been intentional in which case... genius)"
"We ordered catering and everyone's favorite thing was the chicken tenders. Large and very crispy. Real chicken. The subs were decent - bread was fresh and crusty, nice amount of sauce and flavor, fresh meats and veggies. The shawarma wraps were also really falvorful and good. Salad was fairly average - black olives instead of Greek and iceberg lettuce, but no complaints. I do wish they made their own dressings, especially the ranch - these chicken tendies deserved better ranch! I'd for sure order again, though. I really appreciate that they're halal."
"Tucked into the corner of a strip mall off Van Dyke near 10 mile, this is a striped down no frills spot that looks like a 5 but feeds you like a 10. I had the Flying Bird--absolutely fabulous--and he had the Toast plate with turkey sausage and Texas toast. Service fast and friendly. The restaurant is clean and big enough for large groups. Closes at 3 pm."
"I enjoy Hungry Howies pizza and we probably only had one time when our order wasn't right. But this review is to warn people if you order from this location on doordash, please note, you will either 1. not receive your food, 2. receive partial order or 3. the wrong order. I am not going to order from DD any longer. I feel bad for this location, because they get screwed so much because of the drivers. So my final review. Good food, pizza, bread. Anytime my order was stolen from DD they fixed it. But at their expense.Love the cheesy bread."
"Golden Bowl Chop Suey on McNichols is probably one of the best authentic Chinese take away restaurants left in Detroit. I've been eating here for a few years and actually liked it so much that I hardly go any place else. Remember that if you order online and it is less than $10 they will charge you a dollar fifty order charge which makes no sense to me. Also if you use your credit card and it is less than $8 they will also charge you fifty cents as a fee. I am not in favor of any of these fees or service charges and I have told them when they tried to charge me. If you don't go here often you wouldn't know that so be sure you mention to them that you are not paying extra just to use your credit card because the state or your bank will not stand by that upcharge.if you are in a hurry call in your order and within 15 minutes you can pick it up steamy and delicious"
"Pizzas good, staff is wonderful. They go above and beyond for their customers. 10/10 awesome local pizza place"

"Great atmosphere. Great Staff. Great fun Customers and Great Food. Just a plain ole great place kinda like an "institution"
"Omg their food is so good!! This is the 2nd order from them and it did not disappoint. Smothered pork chops were so good. Only thing I can complain about is the collards...I forgot to order them again!!! Next time!!!"
"My family and I went to Robin Hills Farms for a day out and the Heavenly Chicken and Waffles food truck was set up there and I was PSYCHED to see it!I love chicken and waffles and had been following them on social media for a while so I was excited to finally try them out. Their ordering process is streamlined for COVID times in that you order from their website and they send you a text/email when your order is ready. It was SO easy to do and even easier to pay. I did the taster platter which was half a waffle, three drumettes, and a small side of their heavenly potatoes. My mom and I both wanted more chicken so we also split an order of their drumettes. Everything was excellent. The chicken was juicy and flavorful, the waffles were fluffy and the perfect compliment to the chicken, and the heavenly potatoes were quite tasty (seasoned red skinned potatoes pan grilled with red and white onions and fresh green scallions, sautéed in garlic butter). My cousin, a picky 13 year old, LOVED it. It was her first foray into chicken and waffles together and she was super into it. She even doused both in the syrup and she never has syrup. My aunt, her mom, got the Chicken Chicken Sandwich (fried chicken topped with chicken bacon, fresh spinach, pickle, Bermuda onion and real mayonnaise served on a butter grilled brioche bun) with a side of fries and she loved hers too. We all spent our drive home raving about the meal. The fellas running the truck were SO friendly and kind. It was like 90+ degrees out and I know it had to have been sweltering in the truck but they were nothing but high spirits with the customers."
"November 30, 2022Review #421 So every year in November for the past 3 years and sometimes in Summer when I visit a family member for her party's in Plymouth, she clucks and clucks to insist on ordering for dinner "Lee's Famous Recipe Chicken!" Pleasant employees working hard especially on the weekends to fulfill pre-orders or walk in orders too.Their parking lot is small so be patient when picking up orders especially on the weekends around dinner time when it's very busy.It was 4pm when I drove to pick up Lee's to help my family member with her order on Saturday 11-26, for her Thanksgiving Dinner. "Ohhhhh yeah Burger Shack got that good good! Could I come back here and order the whole menu please?I ordered take out and got the cheeseburger, cheese fries, and chocolate milkshake and yes it was all amazing! The burger was so moist and flavorful, i could eat 7. It was also very thick and was a big patty than normal. The cheese fries had the nacho cheese on it with thick cut fries and oh my goodness they were incredible. The chocolate milkshake was obviously a must too because you can't complete a meal without dessert. I swear this was one of the best burger and fries meal I have ever had and I can't wait to come back.I would say the downfall of this place is that I called ahead of time for takeout, they told me 20 minutes, and it took about 45. Apparently this is a norm for them so just judge accordingly and come like 15 minutes after the estimated time. It didn't look like they had many people working so that would probably explain it. I would still come back, the food was bomb and honestly so worth the wait."
"Man shoutout my nigga Dwayne he sent me a pic of his food and I was very intrigued. This shit was way better than I could have imagined. The location gave me all I needed to know bout how this food was bouta taste. So don't be alarmed if you pull up. Food worth it. I also ran into my cousin who showed me the lamb chops she got and wow. I was ready to get slapped by my cousin for taking one of her chops on god. But I didn't. I got honey glazed salmon with the fried corn and Mac... dipped the Mac in the glaze.... smh. I might eat this shit again tonight. 11/10 stars Midwest Grille. Y'all some bad muthafuckas."
"My husband brought us some Side Biscuit on Wednesday and it was awesome! We each went with the combo which was 6 wings and a biscuit and we also tried the tempeh fingers.First off, the wings are DELICIOUS. So so good. Tender, juicy, and perfectly sauced. The BBQ sauce was a bit sweet, a bit sour, and just a tiny bit spicy. It came with a side of blue cheese dressing which I also liked a lot. The biscuit of the week was a Thai red coconut curry which I admittedly wasn't SUPER crazy about. The biscuit itself was great, but the flavor combination wasn't my thing. But I'm excited try other flavors down the road! I also tried the tempeh fingers which, if you're into tempeh, you're gonna love. My husband, who is really big into tempeh, pretty much scarfed the whole serving down. I let him have them because he loved them so much! Every week they have a new sauce flavor and biscuit flavor. I can't wait to order again and try some of the special editions. I'm also excited to sample their sides like the chips and dip, pizza logs, and a Vietnamese iced coffee as a beverage!"
"They have a great outside patio area. There are a couple of TV's as well. Inside they have a lot of games. Definitely lots of things to keep anyone occupied and having fun. We stopped in to take advantage of the great weather and have some drinks. They have a really nice drink menu. A good selection of Beer and Wine as well as some interesting and creative cocktails like the Sex on a Snowbank. I had a glass of Cava which was good. The food menu was not as impressive. Fried stuff, Burgers, Salads. We were planning to grab some food as well. Unfortunately, there were absolutely no Gluten Free options. Very surprising that nowadays they wouldn't have the ability to work with dietary issues. Our server was great. Friendly and always checking to see if we needed anything. I would definitely go back for drinks unless I'm starving."
"Timothy's is located on Flint's east side on Robert T Logway Blvd., just east of Dort Hwy. Starting life as a 'shop' bar for the workers from AC Spark Plug, it has evolved into one of Flint's hidden gems. The owner Theresa, takes a hands on approach to ensure the quality of the food and the satisfaction of the patrons. Quality and consistency are evident in every visit. No longer a 'shop' bar it is now a great restaurant and night spot. The majority of their food is made from scratch and is not just some deep-fried frozen concoction. For three years running they won the Burgers and Beers contest that happened in Flint. Those burgers included the Maggie Meadows "Boozy Burger", the Maggie Meadows "Sauced Up" Burger and the Maggie Meadows A-List Burger. All are still on the menu ($8.95 each) and are fantastic in their makeup and taste. My favorites include the Burgers, the Slim Tim, any of the omelets, the Taco Salad, the Walleye dinner, the Firebird Wraps or to be honest anything else.Weekday specials include: Wraps on Tuesdays, Tacos and Burritos on Wednesday, Walleye Dinners on Fridays and others. They some how managed to not get caught up in the whole craft beer craze, but still offer a decent choice of brews, including Oberon, Two Hearted, Guinness, and most domestics. To top if all off their drink prices are very reasonable."
"Easy in - easy out, Wings & Things is a great little take away place...a little hidden away as it's a pretty small place. Lots of stuff on the menu: sandwiches, wings & pizza. I like the fish sandwich."
"Wings is one of my favorite places to go. All their food is delicious, and I love their smashburger. It's always a fun place to hangout and have some drinks with friends. They have trivia and other events during the week. Wait staff is always super friendly! Also, their wings are the best around"
