"This has to be one of my favorite dining experiences of 2024 - I had been to get take out wings from here before but then I found out that they added a little seated section so I had to try it! Firstly the ambiance in here is fun and eclectic, with authentic knick knacks and posters from South Korea I believe. They have a QR code when you enter to be added to their waitlist and seem to follow having tables sit for a max of 90 min I think to keep things moving. When we came in on a Tuesday evening it was pretty busy but we had a cocktail around the corner and came back within 30 min of waiting. The service in here is great, there is a bell to ask for your waiter on your table and each chair (no backs so watch out if you have any back issues) is like an ottoman so you can put your stuff inside it which is clever and space saving!When we sat down they brought over some sort of complimentary cold noodle in tomato ? Type sauce that was really tasty! Then we ordered a few things - the japchae was amazing as was the rice and the magic fries and the bulgogi! Korean cuisine isn't my favorite but the flavors here were so on point and tasty that I would definitely love to come back here as it's a total vibe! Even the drinks we got were tasty too!In case there is a wait it is convenient to go to Weiss or whiskey foxtrot for a cocktail while waiting!"

I've driven by Uncle Joe's countless times over the year (probably about once a week) and finally got to trying it thanks to a rave review from a family member!Let's just Uncle Joe's lived up to the hype and I thoroughly enjoyed it!This is *technically* a drive thru, fast food restaurant. Don't let that steer you away, however. Their chicken is AMAZING. In fact, it's tied with Clyde's Drive in St. Ignace as my top favorite chicken tender ever! What I love about Uncle Joe's is that the chicken tenders are so handmade from scratch, juicy, and overall so crispy and fresh. Mouthwatering good and spiced to perfection. To pair the chicken tenders they also have their own special dipping sauce, which is honey mustard with a zesty kick. Give it a try because you will not regret it! They also have other sauces too (Ranch, BBQ, Buffalo, Sweet and Sour) We ordered a 10 piece chicken tender, 2 dipping sauces, a side or fries, and 2 Texas toast for $20. Overall I think this was a great deal! We live further away and this was all still so hot when we got home, which is a huge plus because nothing was also soggy. If it's your first time trying Uncle Joe's, I suggest going with the starter combo, which comes with 3 chicken tenders, Texas Toast, fries, and a drink. All for under $8!"

It's got a good price point considering the massive sandwich and ridiculously tasty fries. Geeked that we live nearby to indulge on a regular basis. Bugsy's is very low-key and giving dive bar prices (very budget friendly) but definitely a step up and doesn't feel as grimey as a dive (I was comfortable eating out their kitchen lol!). Speaking of kitchen, the wings are so good! Note that you can only get 1 flavor when ordering 10 wings but can get up to 2 flavors when ordering 20 wings. Garlic Parmesan and House Mild Buffalo were the best of the 3 flavors (Sweet Baby Ray's BBQ is the 3rd flavor), but I did wish there was truly a HOT flavor. The wings were good though and rather small in size so I easily ate a 10 piece and wasn't overly stuffed; if you have a larger appetite then you may wanna order a 20 piece minimum. Also, if you like saucier wings then pay the additional $0.50 for them to be double dipped. Cajun fries were the perfect pairing but pass on the Cole Slaw (I was trying to be balanced & healthy but it wasn't good).Plenty of TVs all over the place along with large tables perfect for groups & plenty of bar seating so perfect to watch a game. There's a parking lot on the side of building with free parking too. There was only 1 bartender working who managed both the bar and tables, and she did a very efficient time making sure all guests were tended too in a timely manner. Oh and did I mention they have a board with a long list of daily drink specials that will pique your interest (on Mondays you can get Liquid Marijuana for $6!). Can't wait to return to try my wings double dipped!"

"Ohhhhh yeah Burger Shack got that good good! Could I come back here and order the whole menu please?I ordered take out and got the cheeseburger, cheese fries, and chocolate milkshake and yes it was all amazing! The burger was so moist and flavorful, i could eat 7. It was also very thick and was a big patty than normal. The cheese fries had the nacho cheese on it with thick cut fries and oh my goodness they were incredible. The chocolate milkshake was obviously a must too because you can't complete a meal without dessert. I swear this was one of the best burger and fries meal I have ever had and I can't wait to come back.I would say the downfall of this place is that I called ahead of time for takeout, they told me 20 minutes, and it took about 45. Apparently this is a norm for them so just judge accordingly and come like 15 minutes after the estimated time. It didn't look like they had many people working so that would probably explain it. I would still come back, the food was bomb and honestly so worth the wait."

We each went with the combo which was 6 wings and a biscuit and we also tried the tempeh fingers.First off, the wings are DELICIOUS. So so good. Tender, juicy, and perfectly sauced. The BBQ sauce was a bit sweet, a bit sour, and just a tiny bit spicy. It came with a side of blue cheese dressing which I also liked a lot. The biscuit of the week was a Thai red coconut curry which I admittedly wasn't SUPER crazy about. The biscuit itself was great, but the flavor combination wasn't my thing. But I'm excited try other flavors down the road! I also tried the tempeh fingers which, if you're into tempeh, you're gonna love. My husband, who is really big into tempeh, pretty much scarfed the whole serving down. I let him have them because he loved them so much! Every week they have a new sauce flavor and biscuit flavor. I can't wait to order again and try some of the special editions. I'm also excited to sample their sides like the chips and dip, pizza logs, and a Vietnamese iced coffee as a beverage!"

"First time eating at Byrd's tonight. It seems like every time I turn around there's a new chicken restaurant. I try most of them that I can. Byrd's stands out for several reasons. First of all the food is delicious. We got the Byrd Bomb and Bomb Bites with Crispy green beans. I got medium on the bomb and my family went plain and mild for their food. All spice levels were appropriate. Good quality chicken as well! The green beans were very yummy.I could have left the review talking about the food but is the service and kindness of the owner of manager that really stood out to me. I was torn between several of their bowls, but ended up going with the Spicy Poke Bowl. My online order was just about ready when I arrived; it was probably a total of about 20 minutes from when I placed the order to when it was ready.I really love sushi, and while I definitely don't consider myself a sushi expert by any means, I honestly think this is one of the best poke bowls I've ever had. The ingredients were perfectly proportioned so you could get a little bit of everything in each bite. The fish is excellent quality and tastes super fresh.Will *definitely* be coming back here, especially now that I've discovered the existence of their Sushi Sando from reading other reviews. I was putting up with the texture because the spicy sauce was ok, but then found a small hair. Pulled it off and inspected the rest. Likely a one time issue. Would skip coming back due to the jerky like texture of the chicken. I have had better sandwiches elsewhere."
