"Little hole in the wall tavern a quick walk from the river walk and hart plaza. Came here for the NFL draft and oh my goodness did they fill up QUICK! if there is an event downtown and you plan to come here, I recommend getting there early. Bartender and staff were excellent, especially at getting tables cleared off so the line wasn't too bad. The Cobb salad was to die for and my brother highly recommended the wings! Street and garage parking available."

"Really good pizza. Plus they were super fast at delivery.I highly recommend this place. We ordered pizza and cheese bread. FANTASTIC!!!!"
"This has to be one of my favorite dining experiences of 2024 - I had been to get take out wings from here before but then I found out that they added a little seated section so I had to try it! Firstly the ambiance in here is fun and eclectic, with authentic knick knacks and posters from South Korea I believe. They have a QR code when you enter to be added to their waitlist and seem to follow having tables sit for a max of 90 min I think to keep things moving. When we came in on a Tuesday evening it was pretty busy but we had a cocktail around the corner and came back within 30 min of waiting. The service in here is great, there is a bell to ask for your waiter on your table and each chair (no backs so watch out if you have any back issues) is like an ottoman so you can put your stuff inside it which is clever and space saving! When we sat down they brought over some sort of complimentary cold noodle in tomato ? Type sauce that was really tasty! Then we ordered a few things - the japchae was amazing as was the rice and the magic fries and the bulgogi! Korean cuisine isn't my favorite but the flavors here were so on point and tasty that I would definitely love to come back here as it's a total vibe! Even the drinks we got were tasty too!In case there is a wait it is convenient to go to Weiss or whiskey foxtrot for a cocktail while waiting!"
"What a great spot! I've driven by Uncle Joe's countless times over the year (probably about once a week) and finally got to trying it thanks to a rave review from a family member!Let's just Uncle Joe's lived up to the hype and I thoroughly enjoyed it!This is *technically* a drive thru, fast food restaurant. Don't let that steer you away, however. Their chicken is AMAZING. In fact, it's tied with Clyde's Drive in St. Ignace as my top favorite chicken tender ever! What I love about Uncle Joe's is that the chicken tenders are so handmade from scratch, juicy, and overall so crispy and fresh. Mouthwatering good and spiced to perfection. To pair the chicken tenders they also have their own special dipping sauce, which is honey mustard with a zesty kick. Give it a try because you will not regret it! They also have other sauces too (Ranch, BBQ, Buffalo, Sweet and Sour) We ordered a 10 piece chicken tender, 2 dipping sauces, a side or fries, and 2 Texas toast for $20. Overall I think this was a great deal! We live further away and this was all still so hot when we got home, which is a huge plus because nothing was also soggy. If it's your first time trying Uncle Joe's, I suggest going with the starter combo, which comes with 3 chicken tenders, Texas Toast, fries, and a drink. All for under $8!"
"I don't have pictures but honestly, all it takes is ONE sandwich and you'll be hooked. I would travel a decent distance for these unreal bites. My son is a heat addict and these chicken sandwiches hit the mark even with his taste for super fiery food! I order mine with no spice and it's enough for two people to share. It's got a good price point considering the massive sandwich and ridiculously tasty fries. Geeked that we live nearby to indulge on a regular basis. The only thing I would change is that there was more room to sit and eat. This is definitely a grab & go spot. (Although that may have been intentional in which case... genius)"
"Consistently the best pizza in the area, the sauce has a unique sweetness unlike any other. The "Complete" flavored crust is amazing. The customer service is genuinely friendly and outgoing. Definitely my Go To pizza place."
"Sicily Pizza delivers a modern, eclectic, and fun ambiance that's unlike anything else. They offer a good variety of pizza options. The pizza I tried was fresh, flavorful, and satisfying. The service was pleasant and friendly, though it was on the slower side. Overall, a cool spot for pizza lovers that's worth a visit."
"Excellent service from the parking lot to inside. Staff was very friendly and full of smiles, you can tell they liked being there and we were more than welcome to come in and enjoy ourselves. It was quiet and the ambiance made you feel right at home. Our waitress was super nice and made sure we were well taken care of. I ordered the fried wings that were cooked to perfection in looks and taste. The BBQ sauce looked really nice, a little bit too tangy for my tongue but good! We will most definitely return with a few more friends."
"We have been customers for years and have loved the wings, bulgogi and bibimbap. The wings are flavorful and crispy. The crunch is satisfying and the sauce varieties are perfect for your spicy cravings or I get them plain and sauces on the side to take home. There's a nice dining room area if you want to eat in. The customer service is great and everyone is friendly and welcoming. They do not have ramen on the menu anymore so I hope they may offer it again in the future."
"Tasty! The service was just okay, but we enjoyed the food from this quaint restaurant. We would definitely go back. The prices are on the higher side, but it's worth stopping by."
"Great small bar ambiance along with one of the best offerings of upscale whiskeys. A wide range scotch, bourbon, and ryes. This is paired with a menu of classic bar foods / sandwiches. Worth the trip"

My coworker and I stopped in here while visiting from California. We enjoyed the burger and steak bites. Unfortunately didn't try the famous wings. We'll have to come back! Delicious food and nostalgic ambiance.

Ok, so I had not been a fan of Lee's chicken.... But I tried the tenders and liked them a lot. We have gotten the tenders several times now and been really satisfied. The cottage fries are really good, too: tender and soft just like they should be. Biscuits have always been very fluffy. Mac & cheese was a miss, in my kids' opinion. The bonsai sauce is uniquely different from your typical sweet & sour, and is really flavorful. If there is a line it moves pretty fast, and the food is a good value so it's worth the wait. They are even open quite early if you want to grab a box for breakfast or lunch, and it's so fresh. I guess if you live here long enough you grow to love Lee's. Call me a convert... Hallelujah - It's good!

my favorite meal of 2024!!! I was blown away by this restaurant & can understand why this was the only Michigan restaurant on the NYT best restaurants of 2024 list. Waited around 70-90 mins for a table on a Friday night, but was prepared to wait! The checkin process with the QR code was super easy. We just went to a nearby bar for a few drinks while we waited for our table. There was a service button on the table & food was served super quickly after ordering. Loved the atmosphere and have never experienced anything else like it in Michigan. My personal favs were the bulgogi, corn cheese & beer tower (duh!!). Every dish we ordered was amazing & everyone in my group was content w/ their meal. I know they are not hurting for business, but I will still be recommending to everyone I know!

Uncle Joe's Chicken Fingers has some of the best chicken tenders, Texas toast, and fries in the metro Detroit area. Uncle Joe's is THE place I go to when I'm craving an indulgent perfectly fried chicken meal. Skip the long lines at Popeyes, avoid any moral conflict you may have with Chick-fil-A, and go to Uncle Joe's for a better deal, larger portions, and tastier fried food.I usually buy the Family Pack to share and have plenty of leftovers. For $23.99, the Family Pack comes with 15 pieces of chicken, 2 orders of fries or mashed potatoes, 2 coleslaw, 2 pieces of Texas toast, and plenty of sauce. I recommend getting the Uncle Joe's sauce. It tastes similar to Thousand Island dressing. This really is a family meal meant for 3-4 people. It is huge! My mother, who is much more critical than I when it comes to rating dining establishments, is an Uncle Joe's fan, too. The chicken tenders are lightly breaded, juicy, tender, and meaty. The fries are thick and crispy. The Texas toast is some of the best I have had. They have just the right amount of thickness and is grilled to perfection. It's like the perfect buttery slice of thick bread that you would have with a grilled cheese sandwich. Besides chicken, Uncle Joe's also offers fried jumbo shrimp, tilapia, cod, and catfish, if you are in the mood for seafood and fish & chips. There are also appetizers such as cheese sticks, onion rings, fried mushrooms, and jalapeño poppers. This place is fried food heaven!

Let me first start of with this.... You know food good when you close your eyes and start swaying from side to side. So here we go.... I was hungry, I jumped on Yelp and hit for it to surprise me and this restaurant came up. Now I've heard of Fat Daddy's but never been. Considering I'm at work, I had to GrubHub it. I order the mild fat daddy which came with fries and the banana pudding. Now, when my food arrived it was still piping hot! I was shocked that it was, as most of the time it's usually lukewarm when I get it. I opened the container and my sandwich was perfectly wrapped and my fries were next to it. When I took the first bite, all I could think of was writing this review. The whole time, in my mind, I'm thinking that this review about to be lit! This is thee best chicken sandwich I've EVER had! Like WHEW! Chic fil who?! You can tell that the food is cooked with love. The chicken itself was so flavorful and tender and juicy. OMG! I was so sad that it was over. The coleslaw and the sauce just added an extra kick and texture that is out of sight. I am STUFFED. It portion size of the chicken was literally the size of my hand. The fries were good also. Very crispy and delicious. The banana pudding was par and a little runny. A little about me, I love banana pudding by hate bananas lol. And in this small container I literally had a whole banana in there and barely any pudding. Typically you get a few pieces but not the whole thing. Once I took the bananas out, there was just enough pudding to cover the bottom of the container. Probably won't order that anymore, but the chicken I would come back for time after time after time. GO TO FAT DADDYS!!!!

I love Spinach & Artichoke pizza but woowww. I got "The Bad Hunter" and while that was my first time ordering-- my initial ratings are: Perfect crust @ well-done, veggie toppings tastes FRESH (great sign) it's not greasy, didn't make my stomach hurt.I took a picture which doesn't do it justice honestly because it was already half way gone

"Decided to give Nick's another try since it had been another few years and....surprise! It was quite good this time. Ordered a couple different pizzas over a couple weeks and both were good. Sauce maybe a touch bland and sweet but the cheese and crust were good. I now have Nick's on the short list of spots for pizza pick-up. Good to see things improving."
"Great food and service, even on a busy Friday night. We were seated immediately and asked for our drink orders. After just enough time to read the menu, our server came by to take our order. Miso soup and a cucumber salad came a minute or so later. Best miso soup we can remember. Dinner arrived soon after we finished our soup. Sushi and stir fry were delicious! Prices were very reasonable for a wonderful meal."
"Seriously the best fish and chips I have ever had. This is a great local restaurant everything looked good."
"Cute spot to watch a game! Bugsy's is very low-key and giving dive bar prices (very budget friendly) but definitely a step up and doesn't feel as grimey as a dive (I was comfortable eating out their kitchen lol!). Speaking of kitchen, the wings are so good! Note that you can only get 1 flavor when ordering 10 wings but can get up to 2 flavors when ordering 20 wings. Garlic Parmesan and House Mild Buffalo were the best of the 3 flavors (Sweet Baby Ray's BBQ is the 3rd flavor), but I did wish there was truly a HOT flavor. The wings were good though and rather small in size so I easily ate a 10 piece and wasn't overly stuffed; if you have a larger appetite then you may wanna order a 20 piece minimum. Also, if you like saucier wings then pay the additional $0.50 for them to be double dipped. Cajun fries were the perfect pairing but pass on the Cole Slaw (I was trying to be balanced & healthy but it wasn't good).Plenty of TVs all over the place along with large tables perfect for groups & plenty of bar seating so perfect to watch a game. There's a parking lot on the side of building with free parking too. There was only 1 bartender working who managed both the bar and tables, and she did a very efficient time making sure all guests were tended too in a timely manner. Oh and did I mention they have a board with a long list of daily drink specials that will pique your interest (on Mondays you can get Liquid Marijuana for $6!). Can't wait to return to try my wings double dipped!"
"My husband and I decided to try out this place before his soccer game on Monday and we were beyond impressed. The food looked and tasted so amazing. The prices were also very reasonable. You order from the front and given a number tag. Once your food is ready, they bring it out to the table. While you are waiting, (which isn't long at all), you can grab whatever you need from the self-service station. The decor and inside was really nice and clean."
"This was a good place to eat. They give you a a lot of food. My favorite on this dish was the noodles and of chicken. The chicken was lightly fried and had good good flavor. However, the chicken could've used more sauce but it was extra money to do that. They also always give you a surprise side dish. Mine was oranges. The rice was ok and the salad was ok nothing to brag about. The service was good . No wait time."
"The gluten free fried chicken is amazing. My family has three people with celiac in it, and wow were they happy when we found this place! Great gluten free chicken, and the regular is the best I've had in Michigan. The fries are great, huge and dark brown and so tasty. Awesome shakes too, and lots of dipping sauces for the chicken. I've also really enjoyed the biscuits and green beans. Yes, green beans, they're cooked in all sorts of fatty goodness and I love them. This is one of our regular places now and if you have celiac, it's an absolute gem."

"Ohhhhh yeah Burger Shack got that good good! Could I come back here and order the whole menu please?I ordered take out and got the cheeseburger, cheese fries, and chocolate milkshake and yes it was all amazing! The burger was so moist and flavorful, i could eat 7. It was also very thick and was a big patty than normal. The cheese fries had the nacho cheese on it with thick cut fries and oh my goodness they were incredible. The chocolate milkshake was obviously a must too because you can't complete a meal without dessert. I swear this was one of the best burger and fries meal I have ever had and I can't wait to come back.I would say the downfall of this place is that I called ahead of time for takeout, they told me 20 minutes, and it took about 45. Apparently this is a norm for them so just judge accordingly and come like 15 minutes after the estimated time. It didn't look like they had many people working so that would probably explain it. I would still come back, the food was bomb and honestly so worth the wait."
"This place is always a fun time. Strong drinks, great playlist, great people but can get really busy! Food is decent. A little bit more to offer than your typical bar food. If you're looking for a fun time at a bar, definitely hit this place up!There is security and they will check your bags and pat the guys down!"
"DUO is the one!!!Meet up with friends for happy hour 5-7. Got drinks (2), potato skins and wings for $20 + plus tip! Music is on point. I'm about to be a regular.Went on a Tuesday, crowd was cool. No rah rah stuff! Bar area got full but never seemed packed or too overwhelming to manuever through. Out waitress was cool and served us at a high top. Was responsive with utensils, napkins, refills. I didn't stay for karoake but next time it's a must!"
"My husband brought us some Side Biscuit on Wednesday and it was awesome! We each went with the combo which was 6 wings and a biscuit and we also tried the tempeh fingers.First off, the wings are DELICIOUS. So so good. Tender, juicy, and perfectly sauced. The BBQ sauce was a bit sweet, a bit sour, and just a tiny bit spicy. It came with a side of blue cheese dressing which I also liked a lot. The biscuit of the week was a Thai red coconut curry which I admittedly wasn't SUPER crazy about. The biscuit itself was great, but the flavor combination wasn't my thing. But I'm excited try other flavors down the road! I also tried the tempeh fingers which, if you're into tempeh, you're gonna love. My husband, who is really big into tempeh, pretty much scarfed the whole serving down. I let him have them because he loved them so much! Every week they have a new sauce flavor and biscuit flavor. I can't wait to order again and try some of the special editions. I'm also excited to sample their sides like the chips and dip, pizza logs, and a Vietnamese iced coffee as a beverage!"
"First time eating at Byrd's tonight. It seems like every time I turn around there's a new chicken restaurant. I try most of them that I can. Byrd's stands out for several reasons. First of all the food is delicious. We got the Byrd Bomb and Bomb Bites with Crispy green beans. I got medium on the bomb and my family went plain and mild for their food. All spice levels were appropriate. Good quality chicken as well! The green beans were very yummy.I could have left the review talking about the food but is the service and kindness of the owner of manager that really stood out to me. People that take pride in their work and in their restaurant will bring me back.Go out of your way if needed to give Byrd's a try."
"First time here and definitely will return! Great pizza that isn't outrageously priced, good wings, and good cheese bread. Staff was following Covid procedures and very friendly."
"My family and I had a good time at this one for early afternoon dinner. The food was decent. Wings were off the hook. Service was pretty good too good place to check out, but there are a better options for sure."
"I was in the mood for a good poke bowl on my way home from work, and Sushi Coup popped up on a quick Yelp search. Sushi Coup is an unassuming little place in a strip mall, but those kinds of places always end up being the best! I was torn between several of their bowls, but ended up going with the Spicy Poke Bowl. My online order was just about ready when I arrived; it was probably a total of about 20 minutes from when I placed the order to when it was ready.I really love sushi, and while I definitely don't consider myself a sushi expert by any means, I honestly think this is one of the best poke bowls I've ever had. The ingredients were perfectly proportioned so you could get a little bit of everything in each bite. The fish is excellent quality and tastes super fresh. Will *definitely* be coming back here, especially now that I've discovered the existence of their Sushi Sando from reading other reviews. Didn't realize that was a thing when I was ordering before, since I was just looking for a poke bowl at the time, but I cannot wait to try that Sando!"
"Great food and service, and I love the banana pudding it's delicious.Nice place to eat at and take a friend. I'm definitely impressed with the quality tasty food and dessert .."
"Tucked into the corner of a strip mall off Van Dyke near 10 mile, this is a striped down no frills spot that looks like a 5 but feeds you like a 10. I had the Flying Bird--absolutely fabulous--and he had the Toast plate with turkey sausage and Texas toast. Service fast and friendly. The restaurant is clean and big enough for large groups. Closes at 3 pm."
"This is a great Korean place to know about. The chicken is delicious as well as the noodles. The wait was so-so and they seemed a little disjointed (maybe they just recently opened at this location). One thing I did not like was the sticky floor. The entire floor of the place was extremely sticky-yuck, but none of the other surfaces were like that--bizarre."
"First time coming here. We went for the "Special" which was CYO Pizza and a small antipasto salad for $23. It was amazing! Service was just as great! It's a dive bar kind of atmosphere and that's what they are going for and want to keep it that way. They also have outdoor seating with a fire table!"
"Ordered lunch for my family and we really enjoyed everything! We got two wraps - the California and Roadhouse - and both were really good. We crushed the French fries. The wing dings and onion rings were crispy and good. My mom loved the enormous salad that she got (crunchy bbq chicken salad). The best part - they make their own ranch dressing and it was really, really good. Get extra. We'll definitely be ordering from here again."
"I definitely recommend the food here. Some of the best BBQ in the city. The only bad thing is that there is no where on the inside to eat so it's all carry out. Never had a bad experience here with the food."
"Ordered the spicy chicken sandwich. The bun was toasted and tasted of butter. Regretfully, the chicken tenders were tough and stringy. I was putting up with the texture because the spicy sauce was ok, but then found a small hair. Pulled it off and inspected the rest. Likely a one time issue. Would skip coming back due to the jerky like texture of the chicken. I have had better sandwiches elsewhere."
