Hannah C. "My friend and I went here on a Sunday. It was a little busy, but the service was good. The menu is simple, but has a lot of variety of options. I got the s'mores rolled ice cream, and she got a matcha version with mochi and pocki. Each was $7.50, which seems a fair price for the size of the ice cream. The shop was clean and had plenty of seating, despite being busy. Overall, would go again."

Brenda M. "I finally paid a visit and it went great. Cute and simple cafe to just chill and hang out with friends and families. The drinks I got were all good! There were so many choices to choose from the menu. I have yet to try the desserts and food so that will be on my list to try when I head out that way again. What I also love was that it's kids friendly because they have a section in the cafe for cardboard games for kids or adults. The kiddos loved it and couldn't stop playing them. They were more excited about the games than getting their bobas. Definitely recommend!"

Jerome A. "Detroit is usually late with any major food trends and it's no different with bubble tea. Though the Asian communities in Madison Heights/Warren/Sterling Heights are blessed with plentiful bubble tea options (Ding Tea, Kung Fu, OneZo, Kuma, Quickly, Bambu, etc), there is a clear void in Downtown Detroit. I was hoping Tou and Mai would've been the one to take the reigns and become king of bubble tea in Downtown Detroit. Truth be told, my T&M experiences have left me controlling my bubble tea cravings for when I'm back in Madison Heights. Don't get me wrong, T&M provides all the bubble tea menu mainstays, toppings, and even specialized Asian desserts like the Filipino "Halo-Halo" named "Hello, Hello". They even have a small bodega-like shop inside, showcasing unique Asian candies and snacks as well as staple items, and boutique goods from local purveyors. But each and every one of my 3 visits have left me saying "meh". I've gotten the mango real fruit smoothie with boba and lychee jelly twice and each time I've regret-sipped all the way home while I begrudgingly drove by Bambu and Kung Fu as they mocked me and said, "told ya so".Maybe one day, a truly impeccable bubble tea place will finally settle into Downtown Detroit and dominate the market and get the whole damn city addicted to bubble tea. It just isn't now. Not yet."

Lorraine F. "Absolutely....Go to Thai Tanic in Sterling Heights!!! It's just a hole in the wall with maybe 4 tables, so it's probably mostly takeout. We ate in and the service was as if we were in a fancy restaurant!!! Those Moscow mule cups are what they give you you with an ice cold decanter of water!!! We had the sampler platter as an app (picture #1) and I ordered the peanut curry with tofu as my protein. I ordered it medium and it was good!!! They also have Boba Tea there but I don't personally like that so didn't get any. I overheard the people at the next table saying how good their Boba tea was'!!Such a good find, I will definitely go back!!"

Eriel D. "Quickly's second location in Auburn Hills is a blessing to all the boba deprived souls in that area. Stopped by tonight to scope out the new spot and it's just as nice as their first location in Troy - consistent in quality and service. So much yes.Location/decor:This shop is in the middle of the downtown Auburn Hills area. There's a few parking spots in the front, but my recommendation is to go towards the back where there is a parking lot. The inside of this place is so hip and trendy. Reminds me of the location in Troy as well as a the boba shops That we have back home in Southern California. They play really chill and relaxing music, There's plenty of tables where you can study or just chill, And they have board games for you to play too (incase you didn't want to study lol).It looks so much nicer than the businesses that were there before - an amazing job by the people who designed it. Boba:I Have never had any issues with quickly's boba in Michigan. I'm not sure if the shops back in California just got lazy or do things differently but it isn't very good at home. I'm so glad that's not the case here.I ordered a jasmine milk tea with Boba and egg pudding. Not too sweet, no powder (thank all the heavens above because powder is gross and has no place in good boba shops), and the boba was really chewy and just right (nothing undercooked or overcooked). Love love love. I'm very picky too When it comes to jasmine milk tea because of all the different ones I've tried out at home (boba spots are literally almost on every corner in socal) so I am very happy with the way this one came out. Will have to come back again when I'm in the area for the snacks. I've had some in Troy and I'm willing to put money on them being the same quality and taste. In other words, super yummy. Their popcorn chicken, mochi waffles, and spam musubi have always been on point for me. Employees and owner were super friendly and quick to make really good recommendations for us. I know that boba is a newer thing out here compared to in California, so whether you're a newbie who wants to try it or a seasoned boba connoisseur like yours truly, then I recommend you check this place out!"

Jim U. "This was a small but modern looking sushi place on the inside. It was clean and spacious but a little cold. They had 2 entrances and we would feel a cold draft whenever one of both doors were opened. 5 stars for the sushi presentation. The tray had a palm tree and some decorations. It was pretty cool. I don't eat sushi but my wife said it tasted really good and the wraps were rolled better than other places. They didn't fall apart when she bit into them. She did say the portions were possibly smaller than normal. Her California roll had 6 slices. She thought the other places give 8 pieces. The prices were comperable, so if that's the case then these were overpriced. I don't eat sushi ever so I don't know what Is normal.I got the hibachi marinated steak. Sukiyaki or something. Sorry I don't remember the exact name. It was delicious and a good amount of food. My issue is, I had a shellfish allergy so I asked if they could cook my food separate and give my wife the 2 pieces of shrimp that normally comes with mine. They cooked it separately but added the shrimp to the top of the vegetables - Defeating the purpose of cooking separately. I pointed it out when the food was delivered. The owner/server took the food back and came back out with my plate which had the vegetables removed. The veggies came out on another plate with the shrimp be stirred in. There was probably miscommunication, but I pointed out the shrimp again and she went and got me a new plate of vegetables. It was a little disappointing, but the food was good and I may be slightly crazy for going to a sea food place with an allergy so I didn't deduct a star. We eventually got on the same page. My wife and I definitely enjoyed this place and will most likely be back next time we're near the island."

Mike G. "These folks are killing it every Monday and Tuesday with their daily Pad Thai Special. No shit. Bangkok Station gives you a full plate of tasty Pad Thai noodles along with a complimentary bowl of Hot and Sour Soup (at lunchtime) for just $6.As you can read in their reviews, my friends and fellow Pad Thai enthusiasts Aron B. and Aleana W. agree that these delicious plates are a pretty good rendition. They serve up a pretty good sized portion of Thailand's national dish and they don't skimp on the protein either. My only gripe are that it's a bit on the sweet side and it's a little saucy but the easy solution for us was that handy bottle of Sriracha. We just added a few drops and that overly sweet taste disappeared like magic. Their Hot and Sour Soup is also a little bland but again, a half dozen drops spiced it up just right. You also need to get an order of their Thai Crispy Rolls. It's a texture thing here. Try an order of 3 for just $3.50 and you'll see what I mean. Bangkok Station is clean, bright and airy and that makes for a very pleasant place to enjoy a delicious and cheap, sit down lunch.Good food for cheap always gets my attention so I'm giving them 4 stars.AndALittleMoreFoodForThought:** I found this place by following Aleana W.'s reviews and photos. Dano R. "I guess I don't get the whole relationship between Kung Fu Tea and the TKK Chicken establishment. That being said I can only reflect on TKK chicken as I haven't yet tried any of the teas from Kung Fu. I ordered two 3-piece chicken combination dinners.1 regular recipe and one spicy recipe. For just under $9 per dinner you get: 3 strips of chicken ( think chicken fingers) a biscuit and 1 side ( slaw, mash potatoes w/ gravy or shishito peppers) The chicken is quite good. A light batter and moist chicken with a crispy, crunchy fried finish. Depending on your appetite, the dinner combo may not cut it. The sides are small but very tasty. I'll try the quarter chicken dinner next time as the chicken is quite good. FYI, there are no takeout menus available. There's an app your supposed to download if you're so inclined."

Jennifer P. "I love me some TKK chicken! I discovered this place back in May and have been hooked on their chicken ever since. I love how they're conveniently located inside a kung fu tea (fried chicken and boba pairs perfectly together). Things I would recommend are their wings (or any chicken by the piece for that matter), kwa kwa bao combo, and any of their chicken sandwiches. I would say their chicken is better than KFC. The quality and flavors are much better. Each time I go, their chicken is hot and juicy. They also have a bunch of different sauces on their side table for you to pack if you want to add an extra zing to your chicken or fries. Things that I probably won't order again are their sides (they are super small for the price you pay), and their chicken tenders. Chicken tenders were overpriced. They were super tiny pieces and just overall weren't worth the money."

Kim N. "Having been to many R&B Teas across the U.S. as well as Asia, I can confidentially say this location has consistent drinks and service. I have been to a few R&B Teas where I do not plan on returning to but this specific store has yet to let me down. It is definitely one of the top authentic places to get boba/bubble tea in Michigan, in my personal opinion. Many places in Michigan offer gentrified boba/bubble tea drinks that are overpriced and disappointing. The menu here is diverse yet authentic at the same time. The pricing is pretty standard for a franchise boba shop like this. I personally enjoy the same order every time I come. It goes as follows, Jasmine Tea with Cream 30% sweet 50% ice. This is my usual order at every boba shop as I like to see which place is consistent. I enjoy the really strong jasmine tea here. The jasmine tea is very aromatic with notes that are not too bitter or bland. It has been very consistent the past couple of times I have visited. The cheese cream is one of my favorite drink toppings ever. The cream here has a nice thick consistency that stays at the top of your drink as you drink it. The flavor of the cheese cream is perfectly balanced with cream and cheese. It always compliments my jasmine tea very well. It is slightly sweetened which is why I prefer my tea to be less sweet. They even have a few snacks here like the bubble egg waffle that is super aromatic, warm, and yummy. The waffle is nice and crunchy on the outside yet super soft and bouncy on the inside. I also see some savory options like the Vietnamese style fried corn and some other yummy fried snacks like fishballs and meatballs. The staff is always friendly and helpful as always. The actual shop is a great place to study or meet up with friends. It's quite large with many seating options like tables that are near plugs as well as comfy couches. Very well decorated. There are two nice and clean restrooms for customers to use. I can sit here and study for hours. They offer wifi for their customers that was pretty fast and consistent. Bonus, the music here is such a vibe as well. I highly recommend checking this place out."

Unfortunately I have quite a few food allergies, so before going I reached out to them on Instagram. They were fantastic at telling me what products would be safe for me to drink, and I genuinely appreciated their product knowledge. When walking inside, I was instantly impressed with the clean, open and relaxing atmosphere. They had comfortable seating options, either couches or tables, games to play at the tables (chess, connect four...), and a wall set up for perfect photo opps. The employee at the counter greeted us right away. He was friendly, helpful and considerate. They don't have a huge menu, but the mix and match options of juices, teas, poppers, jelly and boba, hot or cold, makes it almost endless. The employee was patient while my girls made their choices, and even talked them through what he was doing as they watched him make their drinks behind the counter. Bonus that they vacuum seal a lid on your drink before handing it to you. Found it to be a great help in preventing spills by my kids. We all agreed that the drinks were unique and delicious. We will definitely be going back to try something else."
