"Love this place for breakfast! The food is consistently good. They have a variety of options to choose from. The service is also good. Depending on the day, they may be super busy or there will be no wait. The ambiance is like a mom and pop restaurant - cozy enough to give an intimate feel."
"Very reminiscent of any lunch-aria in any Mexican town. Reminded me of a Puerto Vallarta spot, wonderful food and service. welcoming attitudes fresh as fresh can beSimple menu but plenty to choose from. Cheerful music. In and out very quickly. Not a place to hangout. Get your grub and go."

"The Jagged Fork is a great place to stop by for breakfast/lunch! It was my first time visiting and I had a good experience. Our waitress was very friendly and offered some suggestions on their menus. She was very knowledgeable in what they had to offer. My husband and I decided to share their quesadilla and verde fries. It was a good decision to share because their portion size is huge! We enjoyed it all though. The quesadillas was packed with cheese and vegetables. The verde fries came piled high with toppings. The wait was a little long since it was a weekend morning and they are a breakfast place that closes at 3. But when we visited it was more around lunch time, or else I would have tried some of the breakfast choices they had.I'd definitely love to come back and try their other items! Everything on the menu sounded amazing!"
"Wonderful atmosphere and ambience! Busy but still enjoyable and intimate. We arrived with a group of 7 and they seated us quickly even though the restaurant had a good crowd. The service was impeccable! Friendly and efficient. It's a very upbeat place and it felt comforting especially when the deliciously prepared entrees arrived. Loved the holiday decor! Sweet or savory: you cannot go wrong. Homemade breads, jams and sauces. A variety of hot sauces at the table is always a winner! This place totally hits! Would very much recommend!"
"I arrived at Cafe Muse around 10:15 on Saturday and had no problem getting a table for two. There are not too many tables inside, but thankfully it was not busy at the time. The hostess was very quick to bring me water and coffee while I waited for my friend to join me. All of the sweet breakfast items looked amazing, but we both ended up getting the Plain Jane Scramble. The food arrived very quickly and was steaming hot. The eggs were nice and fluffy and were a great sized portion- neither of us could finish our eggs! With the meal comes a giant slice of sourdough bread, and we chose the garlic potatoes over the mashed sweet potatoes. The toast was great, and my only complaint was that the serving of the potatoes was not larger. The meal also came with a few slices of fruit and the pineapple was very good. I chose to add on a side of bacon which was cooked perfectly. The coffee was standard but also tasted good. My friend ordered a vanilla latte and she felt that there was a bit too much foam on top, which she ended up scooping off. Our server was attentive, but towards the end of our meal we did have to wait a bit to get another coffee. I did not have a problem with the 20% gratuity being added on, but we had good service and I would have tipped 20% regardless! But I do understand the frustration of not receiving good service and then having to leave a mandatory tip. Based on my experience today, I would recommend Cafe Muse. We had good service and while we ordered a "plain" breakfast it was executed well. I would definitely be interested in coming back and trying some of their sweet options next!"
"I CANT WAIT TO GO BACK! Tip: go when they open at 9 if you're going on a Sunday. We got a table right by the door and saw just how busy this place gets. Amazingly friendly service, delicious Cajun/creole dishes, yummy coffee and cocktails; the list goes on. TONS of mimosa options!! Writing this review makes me want to go right now.Parking: shared lot with other businessesAttire: casual!"
"Great breakfast spot. Lots of savory & sweet options pending on your mood. Food was good and since it wasn't super busy at the time food came out quickly. Staff was nice. Since the inside is kind of small, I assume it can be pretty busy during peak times and on the wknd. Definitely want to come back to try more of the many delicious looking items on their menu."
"The food is ALWAYS great here. Fried Goat cheese APP was fantastic, with a orange-infused honey. PERFECT, the coating was PERFECTI had the colonels bowl, a nod to KFC, but done CORRECTLY. every ingredient was ideal.Try the place, it's great. We've been coming here for years"
"The food is awesome and service is fast and very friendly. You wouldn't know that this little gem was located in this location. It's just inside the entrance of an office building. Often there is a wait time to get a table due to its popularity. But, rarely is the wait more than 10 minutes."
"Birmingham and so many cute little restaurants and Commonwealth Cafe is no excepton. I've eaten brunch here twice during my last few visits and, based on the line, it seems to be a pretty popular spot. My brother was the lucky one to wait in line this last time while we took his little ones to play outside...there were a bunch of other little ones outside for them to play with as their family members waited in line. I enjoyed an iced latte (a must!) and some sort of veggie omelette. It was super fresh and tasty. I would definitely be a regular if I lived in the area. Instead I'll continue to be a regular when I visit my brother and friends who live in the area!"
"My family and I ate at the Glass onion restaurant for the very first time on 8.7.24 BUT it will not be our last!! Starting with the warm and welcoming atmosphere to the exceptional customer service and food!! It was such a great change of pace to go to a restaurant and EVERYONE was happy to be there working!! Exceptional diner well worth going to over & over again!"
"Decided to stop in for brunch. Ordered the salmon bites which came with this spicy sauce, which was delicious! After the salmon bites ordered the omelette which you can chooses four things to add to the omelette. The potatoes that come with the omelette are phenomenal. Also ordered a picture of blushing mimosas! Overall great experience."

Finding these wonderful small restaurants is exactly why I love using Yelp! Discovered Breakfast Club after a short search for a local breakfast spot and loved everything about our experience. We were greeted and seated immediately with a smile and fresh coffee. Service was on point, never did we feel crowded or forgotten about. The menu had the usual breakfast items but a lot of unique options that sounded amazing as well. Our food was hot, tasty, and just the right portion size to where we left feeling full but not gross. The dining area itself was very clean, quaint, and gave that homey/comfortable feel. We would definitely make this our go to spot for breakfast if we weren't an hour away!

Best breakfast and late night food spot! This is my favorite cheeseburger in RO. Only con would be that I wish they had more seating available. Everything is prepared quickly and always correct so it makes for a good place to eat in or stop for a quick pick up situation

Toast is my favorite for breakfast! They have such a good menu with lots of side and bread choices, and you can get a half order of any of their sweet items. They also have homemade jam - last week was blueberry bourbon. Everyone ordered different things, and everyone had a great meal. I had the fried green tomato eggs benedict with a side of their bacon fried rice and it was so good! I even took half of the sandwich home. They have great coffee including espresso drinks and service was excellent. We got there nice and early around 9am and were seated right away. It got crowded around 10. I love it here.

Food 5/5 So, the Exotic mushroom scramble and the Smoked salmon scramble have had me in a chokehold for years now. So much so I won't order anything else. The other menu items spark my interest. I just cannot come here and not order a scramble paired with a mimosa. Service 3.5/5 the restaurant has been short staffed. Causing long wait times, certain items not being in stock and unpleasant staff. I sat at the bar during my last visit her service was amazing! Ambiance 5/5 I absolutely love unique art work and color scheme.

One of my favorite breakfast spots. The food and drinks are always delicious. Service was okay this time. A bit slow, not very welcoming, just there to take our order. Ambiance was regular nothing too fancy. One note, they have the best beef bacon!

Wow I haven't been here in years but so glad I came back! Decided to grab breakfast with my brunch buddy and knew I needed to order something sweet. I settled on the Bananas Foster French Toast with a side of bacon and she went savory with the West Coast Crepe. WOW WOW WOW. I love everything banana and this literally hit the flavor profile out of the park! The French toast was so delicious and the bananas and roasted pecans were so good. I ate every last bite and would definitely come back and eat it again. The restaurant is small so be prepared for a weekend wait. I only waited 10 mins or so this visit but it can be longer. Not the best place for big groups either.

My friends and I stopped here the morning after the Movement Festival in Detroit. It was a pleasant surprise that they were playing upbeat EDM on a Sunday morning, and the vibes in this spot were great. The make your own Bloody Mary bar was very impressive and they had lots of options, including spices, and many other fun things that you'll see pictured below. Not pictured, was the breakfast Sammie, which was super yummy and the sausage buddies (pancake covered sausages on a stick) which were delightful as well. Definitely a cute brunch spot.

"We finally tried Honest John's Bar & Grill for brunch. We arrived around 9am and were seated right away. The decor is hipster divey. The menu is vast with a great cocktail menu available. He opted for the chicken & waffles - delicious, I chose the chicken biscuit- perfect portion for my appetite. Honest John's was an overall great experience- we will definitely be back!"
"Thank you ROY for an EXCELLENT dining experience. I personally invite you to try their SMOKING DRaGON! Which has tequila and Mezcal along with dragon fruit. You'll thank me later. The ambiance is romantic old world with class and nostalgic touches. The outdoor front patio is lovely with plenty of seating and a small water fountain for Charm. The food was good and we will definitely comeback! Next time I will bring cash for valet, as it is complementary but you should tip, I swear we had no cash. The valet guys were very professional and polite!"
"Hadn't been here since the pandemic always enjoyed breakfast here as it reminded me have an up north setting. Went last Sunday and my wife and I had the specials she had an eggs benedict dish and I had the banana maple waffles which were outstanding."
"Nice cozy Diner Fantastic food I had the special #2 was served fast great breakfast spot lots of different options if you're in the area stop by very Delicious and great Customer service ! highly recommended!"
"I have been here a few times and it's such a great spot with delicious coffee, and a variety of pastries and food items. The service is great, the staff is helpful and the cafe is clean. It's a good place to get work done, there is a lot of seating available and most of the times I've been here the majority of customers are studying or working. I recently got the mocha with cinnamon and wow it was excellent. The latte art is beautiful, the drink was creamy and the chocolate was rich. This is definitely a go-to spot for hanging out, doing work, and having a great drink and/or pastry."
"I went to Jagged Fork and got the Very Berry Cinnamon toast and it was amazing and tasted just as good as it looked. It comes with a berry compote that they make fresh daily and I also had the fresh squeezed orange juice which is my favorite to get at Jagged Fork. I highly recommend this restaurant and will definitely be back there soon."
"Great place for a hearty healthy breakfast before hitting up the DIA.Just around the corner from the gallery is this hidden Gem. We had breakfast and could t have been happier we chose this place. The service was quick, they seated us without a reservation but it might be recommended to not be disappointed. We both ordered the Eggs Benny, it had sweet bacon and avocado slices with a poached egg and hollandaise sauce. It was so good! It didn't stand a chance. The place itself is very charming, great music and good looking people."
"Ambiance starts from the outside - they have the prettiest courtyard - absolutely Instagramable! Lights and statues and dramatic wall. Try to get a table by the window to overlook all that prettiness Service starts from the front door - from greetings to attentive service. And, luckily, the food doesn't disappoint either. Can't go wrong with any dish. Absolutely loved chicken marsala and lasagna. Unfortunately this time they ran out of calamari :(. Maybe next time!"
"Best greasy spoon, although has become quite expensive (but where hasn't?). Quick service. Love the retro 90's interior design."
"The Bomber Restaurant in Ypsilanti, a small diner honoring WWII veterans and women in service. Walking into The Bomber felt like stepping into a time capsule. Parking was conveniently available at the back, where a stunning floral mural added a touch of artistry to our visit. The restaurant was decked out in authentic WWII memorabilia, from vintage photos to model airplanes, creating a unique, nostalgic atmosphere that was both fascinating and cozy. The aviation-themed decor was a hit with my kids, who were captivated by the model airplanes suspended from the ceiling, making our meal even more memorable. The menu was all about classic American comfort food, served in generous portions that lived up to the restaurant's reputation. The all-day breakfast menu (available until the kitchen closed at 3 PM) made it a fantastic choice for any time of day. The staff's thoughtful recommendations on portion sizes especially for kids, helped ensure we enjoyed our meal without unnecessary waste.During our visit, we indulged in a variety of dishes:* Bomber Burger: Juicy and satisfying, it was a must-try for burger enthusiasts. It came with a choice of curly or regular fries.* Chocolate Hazelnut French Toast: A decadent delight, perfectly sweet and indulgent.* Grilled Liver and Onions: A nostalgic comfort food classic, done just right. Paired with sweet caramelized onions, coleslaw, mashed potatoes, and gravy, it was a standout dish.* Bomber Grilled Chicken: While this dish was okay, it didn't quite shine compared to the others. It was served with curly fries. The fries whether regular or curly were crispy and seasoned to perfection, making them the ideal side to any dish. The portions were huge, and the prices were very reasonable. The service was friendly and efficient, even during a busy weekend morning. The staff handled the crowds with a smile, ensuring everyone felt welcome. They are closed on Mondays and Tuesdays."
"This is the cutest place with lots of fun and quirky decor. Enjoyed our salad and fish dip. Great wine and cocktails list. The staff is super friendly and accommodating. Love checking out all the fun greeting cards. Looking forward to trying the brunch menu."
"Had the Meal Lovers Skillet with scrambled eggs on top and mini pancakes--everything was delicious! The service was impressively quick, and my cappuccino came out first, which was a nice touch. Portions were generous, so I had plenty of leftovers. Definitely a spot I'd come back to! It was full of natural light, very clean and an overall relaxing ambiance."
"Northside Grille has improved in customer focus.Food = 5 Came hot to the tableService = 5 Our waitress was on top of her game. Greeting = 5 were greeted and seated. We were given water and menu in short order. The staff was working well together.Check was give at the right time.Checkout went without a flawed. In the past has been for an Ann Arbor icon less than expected. But notably improved all the way around Ambiance = 5"
"This is a nicely decorated place ! It looks good and very friendly folks greeted us !The service was fine, rather slow but ok !We were informed right away of the items not available (quite a few) also no soup !The food tasted ok, not spectacular and nothing to write home about but ok !The $30 seafood on a very limited amount of Angel hair pasta was not worth the money !All in all an ok experience but not worth the money, I would not do it again !"
"It was suggested this was a must go to. I called for reservations but nada. Parking was not a challenge. It was in the back and the area for Parking is shared by several restaurants & eateriesNice walk up, probably pretty in spring & summerThe line didn't take longOnly only complaint is we were on a narrow hallway with doors opening onto both men & women's restrooms. When we were seated the joy began. The mix of customers were mixed races..Alot of families... Our waitress, Jathiya. was extremely friendly and helpful. I wished hot tea was available... The food was simply Amazing We shared grits/ catfish. Breakfast roll and these cute tasty milk worthy puffs of sweetnessOne of the few times I didn't even think about using the hot sauce that was brought without asking...it felt like it would have insulted the food. From the various textures to the delight with each chew it was wonderful. There was a lady who seemed to be watching the room to make sure everything went smoothly. As I was thinking about the need for more napkins they appeared on the table. It was like we were welcomed into someones home for brunch. We are definitely going back with friends & Family."
"Outstanding breakfast and the friendliest staff in Michigan. The omelets were incredible."
"After years away it's fun to revisit A2 institutions, especially Fleetwood Diner. The joys of Hippie Hash, coming here buzzed after the Blind Pig concerts, or popping in around 4:30am when the place is trashed and the employees are hanging out smoking. That was then, now there's a new(er) family owning it, and subtle changes to the menu point to Middle Eastern influences. As such, I sat down at the counter one morning during my visit and tried the gyro hippie hash and it was excellent. Eggs cooked a perfect over-medium, hashbrowns lurked under the chopped meat and minced broccoli, topped with feta cheese. Big yum! It's still tight and intimate inside. A family sat next to me at the counter, so that was fun. Everyone was friendly and watching the cooks work magic in tight quarters was interesting. Come for the experience, and enjoy the classic menu."
"Really cute cafe with indoor and outdoor seating. Vegetarian and vegan options too. I had the wild mushroom avocado toast. Generous portion. The mushrooms were a bit salty for my taste and it overpowered everything else and I couldn't taste much avocado, but I enjoyed it overall. The steel cut oats bowl was tasty.Excellent service. Fun and colorful decor."
"Service was amazing. The staff here were great and attentive portions were large and food was delicious. Will come again!"
"Another great meal at Thomas's. There's a reason it's always busy here, the food is consistently delicious and the service is excellent.I usually order the polish plate with city chicken, pierogi, and stuffed cabbage (comes with a soup or salad too), I ordered the Maurice salad today. It didn't disappoint- just like Hudson's but twice the size.Thank-you to our waitress, Jennifer- she navigates the requests of our aging parents with the patience of a saint.Homemade food, professional staff, and they serve beer and wine. Yes!"
"I met up with a friend here before going to Aahar next door. My friend got the Karak tea and specialty bun and he was quite pleased with it. I got a chai tea latte and a Cinna-Bun and it was delicious. This place is usually rather busy and this was one of the rare occasions that it wasn't packed, so I was happy we were able to find a table. I will definitely come back again for a bun and tea."
"So many positives about our experience. The restaurant /bar is set in downtown. At first you think you are entering a casual hang out spot. But then you take a second look when the food and drink options are considered. We chose here for our New Year's Eve dinner. The feta and Brussels sprouts, amazing. Each of our meals used fresh ingredients and were homemade. Nothing came from a can. Excellent mix of flavors that made each one an intriguing adventure. Then dessert. You'd think cheesecake and tiramisu were everyday items you can find anywhere. Well you can. But these two are masterpieces. Our waiter was patient and allowed us to enjoy our meals as well as talk and enjoy time together. Enjoy."
"This local restaurant had phenomenal service, delicious coney dogs and incredible Greek salad. The homemade dressing is to die for! We really loved this place! We came in from out of state for a family visit and stopped here. We will definitely return the next time we are in town!"
