"Last Tuesday my boyfriend and I decided to have a breakfast date since we were in the area! It has been years since I was last at First Watch and he has never been before.The menu is simple but has a lot to offer. My boyfriend can be picky so he opted for the trifecta- bacon, eggs and a Belgium waffle. Yum! Can't go wrong with any of those! He said the waffle was very fluffy and the best he has ever had. The hot syrup is a nice touch!I had the breakfast tacos, which I am still thinking about two days later! Can't wait to go back soon!The service was super fast despite being a full house."

Their accommodation of our dietary restrictions and food allergies went above and beyond.The ambiance was lovely, with gorgeous wood details that tied the walls to the menu. They provided an annotated menu with all of the dairy free options, and the pastry chef Carla had made a special dessert option that was dairy free and gluten free just in case we wanted dessert. It was such a treat because restaurants rarely have dessert options I can eat, and it was also delicious.Will definitely return and recommend!"

And we all love the booth, right?BUT the real reason to stop is the GOOD FOOD!And the smiling happy friendly wait staff makes for an enjoyable meal all around.It was our first time here. But they're batting 1000 on the appetizers. I highly recommend the batter dipped LARGE mushrooms.My mushroom Swiss burger was good. But my wife's pot roast sandwich was GREAT. Super flavorful. I'm not going to tell you the secret...you'll have to come and find out for yourself."

"I'm an "Egg Slut" slut and have always loved a good eggy brekky sando. There are a few good joints in Metro Detroit for this, but not nearly enough, and not nearly as tasty.Egg Bar may be the rebuttal. Though they clearly spent a good amount of their budget on the imaging and advertising portion of the business, all a bit extra for me, the food stands just fine on its own.So first, the Bacon Dlux. I loved the fluffy steamed egg and toasted Japanese milk bread. The turkey bacon could've been crispier, but that's a typical turkey bacon problem. The burnt onion jam, was a bit too thick and decadent for the sandwich, throwing off its balance. I adore fresh chives, of which it had a generous heaping of. Overall, a pretty damn tasty brekky wich!The truffle rosemary hash sticks were nicely done, flavorful, and extremely crunchy. Should've tried another sauce tho, as it came with the burnt onion jam.As far as the experience, top-notch. Customer service was friendly and welcoming, staff even reminded me that when you download their app you can save $5 off the first order. Of course I'm hitting that! Overall, I enjoyed my first time experience here! Definitely decadent and over the top so it'll be a while before I come back."

It's like they are trying to be trendy while also being a family restaurant. The customers were rude when I was there and it didn't help that the tables are way too close together. "Drove by the DP all the time and finally decided to make reservations for brunch. The restaurant is absolutely gorgeous and a bit breathtaking. We were seated in the room, farthest to the main entrance, and could see the lake from our table. Service from the moment we walked in, till we walked out, was outstanding. We ordered a ham and cheese croissant, duck hash, side of fruit and cappuccinos. Everything was delicious but the dish that blew me away was the duck hash. It was like an explosion of flavors! Can't wait to go back to try other dishes. This is a great place for brunch and date nights!"

When you sit at the bar, you can look into the kitchen and the back serving station. Everything is clean and I think Restaurant managers should come and take note.There is no need to have a dirty restaurant! We'll definitely be coming back again, and again!
