"Wow, it's been a long time since I had my one and only experience here, and after seeing an ad for them, I was reminded of my previous good experience. It was SO GOOD!! I have pics of everything we got, but we got a good variety. Everything was such a good version of itself. The miso soup was fresh tasting and had a variety of flavors to it with the seaweed and green onions. The sweet and sour chicken was crispy, and the pineapple and carrots had awesome flavor to them. The fried rice has a tasty bbq flavor to them, where you can tell it was fried on a hibachi. Not much chicken in it, but this wasn't bothersome to us. My 4 year old ate the fried rice for the first time and said it's her favorite rice! The sizzling green beans were SO crunchy and had such a perfect, tasty sauce. Chicken was quality and sliced thin. The sushi knocked it out of the park for all the rolls. We can't wait to go back! It's not the closest but it's our official default."
"LC's Asian Kitchen is a hidden gem! Don't let the unassuming strip mall location fool you--this place is all about amazing food and great service. Their egg drop soup is absolutely delicious, hands down the best I've had. My go-to dish is the almond boneless chicken, perfectly crispy and flavorful, and you have to try their egg rolls--they're a must-have!While I love dining in for the cozy atmosphere, it's impressive how busy they are with DoorDash and carryout orders. The staff is always friendly and welcoming, making every visit a great experience. If you're looking for top-notch Asian cuisine, LC's is the place to be!"

"Food, service, ambiance = meh.We walked in and there was a sign that says a server will see you shortly and instruct you on how to order. Somebody came up to us and just said sit wherever you want. So we sat there a good 10 minutes and nothing happened so I went up to the hostess, who wasn't at the front when we arrived and asked her for some menus. Took the menus back to the table and sat there for another 10 minutes before I went back up to the hostess and asked if anybody was going to give us table service. She said I needed to ask that when I arrived. Seriously? We ordered the spicy Tori ramen in the Tori udon. Both which came to the table and presentation was extraordinary. However, the taste did not live up to the presentation. Broth was bland, spice was nil, and I was just craving more flavor and each dish. I guess I was just used to urban ramen where their broth was so rich and delicious. Has a cafeteria like feel to it. It was fine. Will I go back? Not sure. Might go back to try the happy hour specials, but undecided as of now."
"The appetizers were all amazing will definitely come back for some apps and a drink at the bar. The service was definitely lacking, very slow, didn't come back to check on our food, and had to stop her to grab more water and drinks. The vibe was great as far as decorations go and how it is laid out we were in chairs at a table but there were lounge style chairs that I was honestly jealous of , we had five people and they were set up for four and there was no way you could add a fifth. They also had a violin player but just kept playing the same songs over and over, probably the same 4 or 5 songs and we were there for what felt like forever for dinner. Again I'll go back to sit at the bar if someone wants to go but I wont bring it back up to try and the other four people probably wouldn't either."
"Came here with my wife for a day after Valentine's Day dinner. We love splurging and going out to Inyo every February. It's a tradition for us.We started with an old fashioned (me) and a Princess Martini (her.) Tonight's dinner was amazing. She had two kinds of shrimp rolls and I did the Chef's Choice option which resulted in five different really delicious rolls. It's a great deal and I could literally taste the chef's passion and creativity in each roll.It was a great date night for us!"
"The building itself is not that impressive, but the inside is decorated in a very interesting way. It is kind of dark, and it does look like someone tossed some things together to create the ambience. However, I guess maybe that's how the dishes are too. I didn't expect some of the different Ramen or udon combinations that they had where are they really just threw things into ramen and turn it into an unusual dish. They have some traditional ramen and udon dishes but the ones that they just throw together are the ones that are interesting to try. I really enjoyed the curry ramen which they do it very different than most places - the dish I had had so many scallops, a bunch of vegetables, fried shrimp, tempura, and even good chunks of meat in the curry. So good. The service was pleasant, the waitress came by so often. Almost too much. Will definitely come back"
"Saw this restaurant showcased on Fox 2 Detroit a couple of weeks back. The dishes looked appetizing. Some friends get together and choose a new restaurant to try monthly, so PAO was our destination last evening. This place is a gem in the city! I used to work, many moons ago, in the area and once inside, I asked our server about the history of this iconic building. She refreshed my memory of the old Oriental Theatre. Of course! I remember it well! The interior is striking...so much history here. We were seated in a corner booth in front (comfortable). The three course special for the next week or so is a steal, if one can eat that much. Our party chose to stick with appetizers and then shared an entree. That was a good call. All items chosen were delicious, fresh, beautifully plated. Try the Angus beef dumplings, Pao Pao shrimp and the Asian crispy ribs! Nice portions to share and simply wonderful. I topped mine off with a glass of French Champaign (worth the price and you only need one glass). The service was simply exceptional, on all levels. We never had a half glass full of water. They were right there. Sadly, we were too full for dessert...but next time. We were treated like celebrities, not something we are used to in many restaurants (as we are not young, pretty things). Loved this restaurant. Can't say enough good things about it. Can't wait to return and try other dishes. Again, the service was first class. By the way, unlike other establishments that have adopted the practice of adding a tip to the bill automatically, our server told us right up front when she brought the bill. We appreciated that so much as we have been surprised in other establishments, only to find, when we got home and re-read the bill, that we tipped twice without realizing it. In this case, we decided to tip twice anyway...the service was that good and we liked the fact that she told us up front. You can valet your car, street park for a couple bucks or go for the secure lots, your choice...plenty of options to park, nice city restaurant vibe for young and old. Don't miss this gem. I'm sorry I neglected to take photos. You'll have to try them out and see for yourself!"
"Them wings hit! The wet jerk wings were appropriately surprising coming from Royal Oak. The wings are whole and well cooked and seasoned. The spice of the jerk was akin to homemade. I enjoyed the chocolate cake too. This place was a pleasant surprise."
"I had no idea this place even existed until my dad told me about it. Since I was hungry for Chinese, he suggested we come here, since it's one of his favorites.Pulling in, the parking lots a bit of a mess. Pot holes everywhere and crumbling like no other. It could use a refresh! Walking in though the place is cute and well decorated. We were seated by the hostess near the fish tank which I loved, and our server came to our table to give us menus and such. The menu here's pretty thorough, and their prices are pretty decent. I started with Crab Rangoon which was fabulous by the way. They didn't offer any dipping sauce, but we did get these chips of some sort with sweet and sour sauce, which I used to dip the Rangoon in.My dad got the hot and sour soup, along with a beef dish. I went with the Sesame Chicken, which was a huge portion. While the chicken was good, it was kind of bland. The waitress asked me if I wanted it mild, medium or hot, and I should've gotten medium. They kind of skimped on the rice a bit especially since there was two of us. I wish they would've given us more.Even though the place is great, we barely saw our server. We ran out of water several times and had to flag her down for our bill. She was good when she was there though. Staff here's genuine and great so that's a bonus. Very friendly people, well versed just wish we had more rice!"
"First timers for a Yelp event...will return because their tacos are freaking delicious! Love the freshness of these tacos, made to order. Plenty of meat, lots of toppings and sauces. (I recommend not paying extra for their salsa if you get one of their "less plain" tacos - all of ours were so flavorful we didn't even use the salsa...we paid extra for).Favorite for both of us was Mongolian Beef. Heck, I'd drive the 18 miles back to Chino Loco for this taco alone! Both of mine - Loco Shrimp and Firecracker Chicken - were also really good.Take out only so we ended up eating these messy tacos in the car. Bring napkins...possibly wet wipes!Almost forgot to mention the scallion pancake option for taco wrap. Dang, that was delicious. I recommend you pay the extra small amount of $$ and get allllllllllllll your tacos with the scallion pancake instead of tortilla. Especially good with the "Asian" taco flavors. Scallion pancake!!"
"Great place for Japanese and Filipino foods. Freshly made sushi, salad and ramen. Great service as well as ambiance."
"First visit to Experience ZUZU and it did not disappoint. Had an early evening out. We opted to try several mocktails, which tasted fantastic. We share quite a few items, crispy rice, gyoza, crispy tempura fries, and mains yaki udon with beef, and the jalapeno hamachi. There was plenty of food and we left with left overs. We will be back. There is an automatic gratuity added, which is not a big deal as it is more and more common these days, but could be a surprise to some."

I decided to try Tai Fai after seeing a few tik tok videos. It's located in a small strip mall and easy to overlook. I went on Saturday night and it was crowded. I'm glad I placed my order ahead of time because the orders were coming in fast. I ordered the crab meat wontons & spring rolls as my appetizer. Both were crunchy and full of flavor. I didn't care for the sauce that came with them but they really didn't need a sauce. The rolls are served in a beautiful box that makes you think of an upscale restaurant. I ordered the crunch roll and a red dragon roll. I was pleasantly surprised at how good everything tasted. I will be back and have already told my friends to give them a try.

My go to Chinese place since 2017. The egg foo young is incredible and portions are massive. Only have gotten take out but seems like a nice place to dine in as well.

I wasn't going to review, but the waiter did something akin to "leave now" in MY eyes. I ordered hot ginger green tea which arrived to the table in a tea pot with two cute little tea cups, & a pork belly don ($18) with an add on of soft egg (+2). I was disappointed to see a single slim strip of pork belly on a cup of rice surrounded by yummy veggies. I asked the size of the add on on pork belly, & was told it's a strip but they "try to make it a big piece." I declined the add on.I had a (tea) cup full of tea & a little less than half a pot left. (The pot isn't see through.) My Mom was still eating her food. The bill was brought to the table (with 2 lychee candies) & we were told "whenever you're ready." I had planned to order another appetizer with the rest of my tea. (There was a couple next to us who were there before we were seated and no bill was placed on their table.) I'm sure the defense will be preparation for an easy & quick exit for everyone, but To ME it means that Im being told that I am done ordering. We were then politely asked if we wanted to go containers by the other waitress & I snippily replied, she's still eating (corrected myself). Then said yes, I would like a box, please. Mom finished her food, we paid the bill and left.

Very calm and classy atmosphere, I really enjoyed the Linguine. My girlfriend had a steak and it was cooked to perfection. Wait staff is nice and violin player was a nice touch. Would recommend!

Inyo is always good, great location and the staff is great as well. Probably my third or forth favorite sushi spot in the Metro Detroit area. I been here too many times, so I just stopped taking pictures lol. I have tried a number of their rolls, but my go to is the Spicy California Roll, Spicy Tuna Pizza and I know this might sound crazy...but their seasoned Shoestring Fries lol. Might be some of the best fries I have ever had.

I have wanted to dine here since they opened. Finally made it. Dedicated free parking out back. Friendly host who sat us immediately. Great music from the 80's and 90's (Prince, INXS, Cyndi Lauper) at the perfect volume. Plenty of seating options from bar to high tops to booths. Two TVs at the bar. Cool artwork on the wall. The place is large-ish, but has an intimate feel.Katie, our server, was friendly and attentive. Loads of vegan menu items clearly marked. Reasonable prices. We ordered the two vegan specials: maitake mushrooms and general Tao's cauliflower. Both yummy! Then we ordered nearly all the vegan sushi. The asparagus roll and avocado rolls were excellent. The mad hatter roll was gorgeous and tasty too. The sushi chef was working alone busting his butt and he still presented everything beautifully. Ordered two drinks: Edo collins and Tokyo limeade. Nice flavor. A little light on the booze, but there wasn't a dedicated bartender. So happy this spot exists! I'll be back with my omnivore friends and fam.

This place is sooo good. I usually don't review a restaurant until I've gone a few times and tried different things. Now that I've done that, I can honestly say I love this place! To start, the service is great. Servers and managers (?) are kind and attentive. They accommodated my large group when many guest were running late due to weather. They opened earlier on a day where there was lot going on downtown (smart of them). They even checked in on people spending a long time in the bathroom (tailgating gets the best of some). The food though, is what makes me keep coming back! Everything I have gotten - cocktails, apps, meals are all DELICIOUS! If going with a group, I highly recommend getting a bunch of apps to share. I haven't had one I didn't enjoy. Also their espresso martini is one of my favs in the city. Don't sleep on it!

We were early for a concert at Royal Oak Music Theater and hungry. We wandered around a bit and stumbled upon Detroit Eatery, which has a walk up window and a decent menu. We both ordered the chicken pita, which was the delicious hand held we both needed. Service was fairly quick for a freshly made pita, and we walked away happy, ready for our concert.

"Getting food by carry out is the new reality, so it's great to find a place with really good food. What I love about New Asian Star is that they execute the classic Chinese dishes - broccoli chicken and sesame chicken - flawlessly while also adding cool things you don't normally get from a Chinese restaurant: Pho, a hearty Vietnamese soup. The breaded chicken in the sesame chicken had a crispness and a glaze to the exterior, unlike the soggy breading at some places. I thought the fried rice was robust and flavorful, but my wife didn't love the onions in the rice. The chicken in the broccoli chicken was cooked properly and had a sauce on it that went well with white rice. The brisket pho was quite a thing to get as a carry out, since there are so many parts to it. An entire carry out container had most of it: the lean brisket, rice noodles, peppers, scallions. Another container had a massive branch of Thai basil, plus bean sprouts, and scallions. The broth was in a third, massive container. I can see why this can serve as a main course (for more than one person). One thing I also love is the massive amount of fried wontons with any soup order. The hot and sour soup is neither hot nor sour, but it's hearty.Curbside service was a little slow, but that's a testament to how good the place is. The word is out. It's worth the wait."
"The service was excellent. The Obama roll was very good. My Bulgogi was OK but a little too sweet, and no garlic taste or spice. The Bipimbap was very bland. The place is almost lile a diner setting. I would return for the Obama roll."
"If you're a fan of sushi, So Moon Bowl and Sushi is an absolute must visit! I've made it a point to try something new each time I dine here and I'm consistently blown away by the quality and flavor. Everything I've tasted has been perfect, but the standout for me is the Blue Dragon Roll. I look forward to this roll every visit. The freshness of the ingredients and the creativity of the dishes make So Moon Bowl and Sushi a top notch dining experience that isn't too pricey. Highly recommend!"
"Partner and I visited them recently and wanted to give a shout out.1. Great customer service2. Amazing fries (properly crispy)3. Partner reports the veggie mushroom bao was excellentFYI since this isn't advertised anywhere: the bao buns have dairy in them so please avoid them if you have dairy allergies or dietary restrictions. I might recommend getting your food on rice instead.Good business, go check them out."
"My mom and I ordered from The Takeout Box one evening when I was over at her house and everything was deeeelicious. As the name states, they specialize in takeout fare (although there is some seating onsite), although we got our order through delivery. I ordered the chicken bao buns and the gang garee (yellow curry) with chicken and my mom got the glass noodles and we split a mango coconut sticky rice for dessert. The bao buns were SO good. It was fried chicken, red onion, daikon radish, carrots, cucumber, and spicy mayo (you can also make it halal for an additional charge) all wrapped up a pillowy bun. Two per order was a good size, too. And the gang garee? Excellent. The curry sauce is so good, the chicken was nice but the real standout were the potatoes. I don't know WHAT they do to them but they were incredible. I added peanuts to my order which I would also highly recommend for a little bit of added crunchy texture. The portion on that one was perfect for one meal but if you were planning splitting it with someone else or into two meals for yourself I would recommend adding some apps or another entree to round things out. The mango sticky rice was also great. It was my mom's first time trying it and now she's hooked. We also got bubble teas and I have to admit that was the only thing I wouldn't order again. The drink (black milk tea) itself was very good but the boba was a little on the firm side. Not sure if it was undercooked or just got too cold but it wasn't my favorite. But we'll definitely be back again soon for more of that delicious food!"
"Tasty! The service was just okay, but we enjoyed the food from this quaint restaurant. We would definitely go back. The prices are on the higher side, but it's worth stopping by."
"Ok i wouldn't say this is best the place but it's definitely convenient; I've drove by several time and never stopped. Well today that changed - it was a Sunday and i wanted to be lazy.I haven't eaten inside yet (at moment that option is gone due to the virus outbreak) but it 's pretty basic; I wouldn't say a romantic type of vibe but more like "why not" vibe. What I did like were the photos on the wall so you can see what you'll be purchasing - good method instead of having to keep changing the menu when something new is created. Now the prices are a little higher, so you might do better during lunch. Lunches are always cheaper. Delivery is an option but you'll have to order through a third party; it's quicker for me just to pickup since i'm so close.Happy Eating!!!"
"Our local go to. Always great!. The Thai (in my opinion!) is not good but the Chinese is all delicious. General Tso, sesame chicken, orange chicken, buddhas feast, hot and sour soup, wonton soup. All great!"
"I love everything about Ken Ken Sushi! It's our go to date night spot, the sushi is always so fresh and tasty with so much to choose from, pricing of everything is great and it such a cute cozy atmosphere! Best sushi we've found since moving to Michigan! 10/10 would recommend!"
"Delicious fresh tasting pho with a side of crunchy brean sprouts; really flavorful broth; very friendly service. Crab Rangoon and spring rolls also fresh and flavorful. Highly recommend!"
"Excellent and attentive service!Pristine restaurant. Delicious sushi. I had the lunch combination special with 3 rolls, and loved every bite! I had the spicy tuna roll, spicy salmon roll, and salmon avocado cucumber roll. My lunch special also came with tasty miso soup and salad. My friend loved her poke bowl and it looked gorgeous. They have a gluten free menu too."
"Stellar food with a few really bright spots. We got almost one of everything, the beef and onion, chicken and mushroom and Berkshire pork were highlights, 5/5.The Shrimp Triple Delight tasted like Shumai. 4/5 The pickled cabbage and pork was WEIRD but surprisingly tasty. Very savory, 4/5, I wish they had been sweeter like the other bao. The pork bao sandwich was okay, I expected the pork to be more flavored. 3/5.The cold sesame noodles were intense! So much flavor! 5/5The dumplings were only okay. Comparatively, they could hold a candle to the bao. 3/5The egg roll were also a little disappointing but only because everything else was so incredible. 3/5"
"Try to support smaller business - i believe this will be my 3rd time coming. There's only 1 person working (as cashier/waitress) but actually she's very attentive towards everyone coming in.So please note - if you're looking for someone to stand with you a long time while you're thinking of what to get then this isn't your place. Prices are a little over but food is really good - once again this isn't a large place. Never ate inside; order then leave and i was never missing any items. She does give you recommendation but make sure to look at the prices. It this place fancy - not really; gives off more dive bar vibe which isn't bad. Will i continue to support this place... YES! Oh - they have a drive through. Lol! i think its more for pickup order then order at the window type.Happy Eating!!!"
"My husband and I decided to try out this place before his soccer game on Monday and we were beyond impressed. The food looked and tasted so amazing. The prices were also very reasonable. You order from the front and given a number tag. Once your food is ready, they bring it out to the table. While you are waiting, (which isn't long at all), you can grab whatever you need from the self-service station. The decor and inside was really nice and clean."
"This was a good place to eat. They give you a a lot of food. My favorite on this dish was the noodles and of chicken. The chicken was lightly fried and had good good flavor. However, the chicken could've used more sauce but it was extra money to do that. They also always give you a surprise side dish. Mine was oranges. The rice was ok and the salad was ok nothing to brag about. The service was good . No wait time."
"This is one of my kiddos favorite spot to dine in when it comes to Japanese fusion. They recommended this place as it was my first time visiting. The dishes were sort of rice bowls with a choice of protein and a scoop of Lo-'mein style noodles or vegetables. We went with all the choices of beef bowl, chicken bowl, and shrimp bowl. I enjoyed all the dishes as the meat was very well seasoned, especially the beef and shrimp. These were all to go orders, as no dine option was available at that time. Masks are required and the business took good steps towards Covid preventions and safety."
"Outstanding sushi and wings . I mean hands down the whole experience very enjoyable. I top that with noodles and a hibachi my favorite. The taste I liked in all my food because it was a different flavor. That in itself is rare along with a multi cultural staff that works together providing a calm setting. Now the food I got is what I call PINCHE DELICIOUS original. Hey I am from Texas not New Jersey. Nobody is perfect except us when it comes to Bar B Q. So make sure you drink a mango tequila sunrise here. Yes they have a good bar saki. That is all.Chief A faithful man when tempted battles evil."
"Food carry out fortunes in the fortune cookieslove the almond boneless chicken. mmmm. eggrolls mmmmmmfortune cookies mmmmmmBut.... the fortunes are really really lame. Like Take time to smell the roses. OrDont step in dog $#!+....Try adding "in bed" to a lame fortune and it becomes pathetic. Bahahahaha!! But definitely do enjoy the food!!!"
"Came here after a football game for dinner and had baby and toddler in tow as well. Very happy AA has some traditional Korean options compared to 5-8 years ago when we lived there, The servers were very friendly but for some reason wanted us to sit at a table that was connected to another party's table due to our stroller. The restaurant was fairly empty at this point so it wasn't because this was the only option... I tried explaining that we'd like to sit somewhere else but they didn't seem to understand so we just sat there hoping our kids wouldn't bother the other party! Aside from that - we were pleasantly surprised by dinner and how good the food was! Great flavor of the bulgogi, sundubu was decent but quite spicy. This was their combo meal and it was a generous amount of meat for a combo! Husband got the dol sot bibimbap and it was sizzling temperature hot! Banchan was very tasty, The servers were very kind to my kiddos and brought out a booster seat, plastic cup with lid for water. The bathrooms are single person and extremely spacious, clean, and the ladies room has a changing table. So other than the weird seating issue, very family friendly! I would go back if we lived in AA :)"
"I happened upon this place while looking for another restaurant. I decided to leave but the guys were so welcoming and helped me with deciding on something. I chose the Dosa and will come back at another time to try one of the chicken dishes. The Dosa is exactly what I recall having at other restaurants and it's really tasty."
"Had a Christmas party with coworkers and we had lots of fun! We were still singing all the way out the door when we left lol. Food was pretty good too. Awesome place to have a great time!"
"This place has become a go to fav for my wife and I. We've ordered a variety of Crepes. Every one of them has been tasty. Service has been polite and quick while being attentive as well. The place is clean and the establishment is very modern. One of these days we'll walk into the bar for some drinks."
"I used to pass this place all the time and my initial thought was it being a sushi place because it just made sense lol. But after doing a little research I found out it was Filipino food. I finally got a chance to stop by and try the food. I'm unsure if I was speaking to the owner at the time but when I walked in I was given a very friendly Welcomw told it was my first time and he pointed out all the desserts they had on stock. The server was very patience and helpful with helping me make a decision. I ended up getting chicken curry with garlic rice, 2 spring rolls and a coconut dessert. The chicken curry with rice was very delicious it also came with carrots and potatoes, and If im not mistaken the carrot juice gave the curry a sweet finish to it instead of spicy. I believe they used the dark pieces from the chicken. (Im a white meat gal). But The coconut dessert was very good and different. It is very coconutty and there are a few long shaving pieces inside. The spring rolls were very big and stuffed. She gave me two types of sauces to try with them and both were good one was a sweet and sour type of taste and the other one was more tangy if I had to compare it it resembled Italian dressing with more like vinegar. The place is very small and located next to smoothie king. There are a few tables inside to sit but I ordered it as takeout. 8.5/10 I will be back for that BBQ"
