"I live extremely close to this location, and I was very surprised that I had never heard of it before. The service is extremely respectful and so welcoming to everyone that walks through the front door and it makes so much sense that they've received so many accolades for their business. The ambience inside is very Mediterranean and it smells superb. I went with some falafel bites and took home a rice pudding. The crunchiness and fresh taste behind the falafel had me hooked instantly. It came with a delicious dipping sauce that I gate-kept from the rest of my family haha!Highly recommend to anyone looking for authentic Mediterranean food!"
"My friends suggested to meet for a ladies brunch day at the Public House. I has never ate at Public House, so I was excited to finally try the restaurant out. And I wasn't disappointed with the experience! My friends and I ordered the Mimosas Tower, which for four people, still was too much to handle! I ordered the Sausage Scramble, which was really good! And so much food! I ended up having the leftovers boxed up to go. My friends and I shared the Classic French Toast. Overall, the food was really good, the service was good, and the vibes and ambiance was really good! I definitely would check this restaurant out again!"
Amazing! A popular Middle Eastern soup, with surprising hints of spicy and sweet flavors. Vegan. Gluten-free.

"Wonderful atmosphere and ambience! Busy but still enjoyable and intimate. We arrived with a group of 7 and they seated us quickly even though the restaurant had a good crowd. The service was impeccable! Friendly and efficient. It's a very upbeat place and it felt comforting especially when the deliciously prepared entrees arrived. Loved the holiday decor! Sweet or savory: you cannot go wrong. Homemade breads, jams and sauces. A variety of hot sauces at the table is always a winner! This place totally hits! Would very much recommend!"
"Uptown Grille has been a place I frequent often when home the atmosphere and the food are always A1 this trip was no different, went during a busy Saturday night (lions where playing) unable to get a seat at the bar however they had the patio open. All of the food came out hot and fresh and delicious! They never disappoint with the portion sizes of everything they note shareable items but truthfully everything is shareable as the portion sizes are huge and you definitely getting what you pay for. Not pictures is the truffle Mac and tenderloins which was so good! And huge had to take most of it home with us. The service was great our waiter Chris continued to come back and check on us and let us know the bar was busy and so our drinks would be slow that was truly appreciated. As for the atmosphere it is a great place to watch the game, get some music(live, dj or simply pandora) we were lucky we got live music and a DJ in one night. It is definitely loud on big game days but a nice chill place to go and watch the game or simply get someGreat food and some good drinks."
"My family and I ate at the Glass onion restaurant for the very first time on 8.7.24 BUT it will not be our last!! Starting with the warm and welcoming atmosphere to the exceptional customer service and food!! It was such a great change of pace to go to a restaurant and EVERYONE was happy to be there working!! Exceptional diner well worth going to over & over again!"
"During our annual trip to Kringle Mart I always walk up and down the street and see the plethora of cool places to eat and want to try them all, so it has become a goal to eat at the different restaurants in downtown Rochester and this was our first place we've made it to. It is such an adorable space, I love the decor. It is a cozy place to dine and people watch. The service was excellent, the people working here seem to go way out of their way to make all feel welcome and taken care of. It also seems like a popular choice, there was a very steady stream of customers. The first thing our server offered was some bread to snack on. This was amazing, any place that gives you snacking bread is the best place in my book. I love snacks. The bread came in an adorable bag and it was hot and fluffy with a bit of savory topping on the top. We ordered some drinks. We got a chocolate pastry dark beer from Untitled Art. I had never heard of that brewery but it was delicious. So sweet and delicious, exactly like a dessert. We tried a couple cocktails. They were very interesting. Very herbaceous, not quite my favorite, but I want to expand my palate. It was not our servers fault, she let me know if I was not satisfied with anything they would remake me anything I was not satisfied with, but I kept them because I like trying different specialties on a menu. I would come back for cocktails again and try some other choices next time. The food was great. My husband got the Brussel sprouts and a short rib enchilada. The got their side salad. It was amazing, and such a nice portion. I really appreciate that they offer their salads as an entree or on the side, very nice for customers who want it as a meal or a side. The poppyseed dressing was refreshing and delicious. I also wanted a steak frites. I have not had steak in ages and it was a good choice to come here. The steak was a huge portion and very well cooked. The fries were perfectly crispy and slices so thin and the spinach was great. With the zip sauce it was the perfect bite to get a little steak, fry, and spinach dipped into it. I was able to take home half the meal and share with the kids who also liked it. The meat on the steak was so tender and great the next day. The zip sauce was perfect and did not solidify the next day either. I would highly recommend this dish. They also had good sounding desserts and they make their own ice cream, so maybe next time we will try it. I would love to return here soon."
"Thomas Keller, probably America's most fancy pants chef, said "Burgers are proof that sometimes the simplest things are the most extraordinary." Burgers are the epitome of comfort food, combining juicy patties, melty cheese, and an array of delicious toppings. This is why I love the Grizzle! Solid unpretentious food in a pub setting. Great draft beer. Nice college town atmosphere. I'm not complaining but the only puzzle is....what are cheese curds doing on the menu? Are we in Michigan or Wisconsin? No idea why they are here, but they're delicious!"
"Little hole in the wall tavern a quick walk from the river walk and hart plaza. Came here for the NFL draft and oh my goodness did they fill up QUICK! if there is an event downtown and you plan to come here, I recommend getting there early. Bartender and staff were excellent, especially at getting tables cleared off so the line wasn't too bad. The Cobb salad was to die for and my brother highly recommended the wings! Street and garage parking available."
"Located adjacent to Third Man Records,we stopped in for lunch with a group of 7. They have picnic style bench seating so it was not a problem finding a place to sit.You order your food at the bar and they bring it to you. They have a nice selection of house beers plus pizza and sandwiches. Gluten free items are available as well as a kids menu.Food was good and service was outstanding. If in the area,a good place to grab a bite or a quick pint. They also have locations in 4 other Michigan towns."
"Blue tractor bbq and brewery located in Ann Arbor hit the spot! We had a relatively Short wait being game day and ruminated on our options and went with a dinner platter to Maximize our food savory options. it was gold, the bbq ribs and pulled pork were flavorful, tender, and mouth watering. our sides were just as good and if you like mac and cheese the cling was great and texture was perfect. the cornbread was just right, that is if you like a more moist bread that doesn't crumble when you put your fork into it. we finished the evening with a birthday special getting a highly recommended ice cream bowl with chocolate chip cookie buried underneath. the icing on the top was having an electric atmosphere at the big house and celebrating another michgan win! go blue! next time you're in Ann Arbor you have to check out Blue tractor bbq and brewery! I can't wait to come back for more!https://www.instagram.com/reel/C0CCoj3rr5D/?igshid=MzRlODBiNWFlZA=="
"I finally tried the warmed lobster roll, and wow--what a treat. The lobster was perfectly cooked, tender, and flavorful, but what really sealed the deal was the buttery toasted roll. It was golden, soft, and basically the perfect vessel for all that deliciousness. Every bite felt indulgent and satisfying. That being said... it was *expensive*. If they knocked a few bucks off, I'd be back in a heartbeat. For now, it's a "treat yourself" kind of meal--delicious, but definitely not an everyday splurge."
"Great Salad. Great portion. Fast service. Came here with a group of coworkers during lunch and we were all served fairly quickly. I always enjoy getting the BBQ Chicken Salad because the chicken is flavorful, the crispy strips are delicious, and overall the portion is good! Was not too impressed by the cornbread as it was fairly hard, but the taste was good!"

This is a great place for a vegetarian meal. The food is very tasty and the ingredients are definitely fresh and flavorful. You can make your own bowl or wrap and the selection is quite extensive. For just a few dollars more, you can make it a meal and they are very reasonable. This location has won lots of awards over the years and the service is excellent . They clearly take pride in what they do.

The music was loud, too loud for conversation, and completely out of sync with what I typically look for in a brunch. Therefore, the conversations on either side of me were unnecessarily loud. And uncomfortable. First date situation. Many of the tables were full, luckily there were still a few larger ones still open. Seating at the bar was filling up, as well.I checked the menu before the visit; the choices were limited to bennies and pancakes - I just wasn't in the mood. So, I had my usual, burger and fries instead. Specifically, it was a smashburger, topped with cheddar and a fried egg, pickle spear, and fries. The burger was delicious - I typically like my burgers medium rare (more rare than medium) - but the thinner patty, prepared to a medium, worked. The fries, however, were a bit drier than I would have liked.Service was fine.

Toast is my favorite for breakfast! They have such a good menu with lots of side and bread choices, and you can get a half order of any of their sweet items. They also have homemade jam - last week was blueberry bourbon. Everyone ordered different things, and everyone had a great meal. I had the fried green tomato eggs benedict with a side of their bacon fried rice and it was so good! I even took half of the sandwich home. They have great coffee including espresso drinks and service was excellent. We got there nice and early around 9am and were seated right away. It got crowded around 10. I love it here.

It was my first time at the Uptown Grille. It was recommended by friend so I thought I'd give it a try. We ordered nachos and I'm not exaggerating, the plate was huge, and the nachos were piled high. That thing fed 3 people and it was delicious! You have your choice of meat. We chose 1/2 beef and 1/2 chicken, which didn't seem to be a problem with the waitress. She was great, btw, even surprising us with refills on our drinks. All in all, it was a great experience. Looking forward to sampling the rest of the menu.

I've been to Glass Onion Griddle several times for lunch in the past, but my my first breakfast visit was recent. I've found the restaurant to be little fancier than a lot of the Coney Islands around and they serve dishes that are a bit more unique with more flair. While I've seen the place completely full on the weekends, breakfast on a weekday seems to be a more lax affair. Service is always friendly and prompt and the food is always good. For this visit, I got one item: French Toast Sandwich ($13) - The french toast is a nice, thick cut Texas toast with a delicious egg batter. As the name implies, this is constructed into a sandwich - the bottom slice is slathered with a slightly spiced maple butter, then an omelette with embedded moons of breakfast sausage is placed on top, and finally the other slice of french toast. Of course it's dusted with a layer of powdered sugar, giving additional sweetness. The sweet/savory combo works very nicely together. Two slices of orange are on the side to add some additional fruity sweetness. They also give a cup of fruit with mostly honeydew and some cantaloupe and grapes. I'm sure the fruit salad changes as different fruits go in and out of season. (4/5) The restaurant has traditional table service except for payment - you take your bill and pay at the counter. They do charge a 3.5% fee for using credit cards.Overall the food at Glass Onion Griddle is solid. I've been multiple times in the past and will continue visiting in the future.

10 years after my first review, I am happy to provide an updated and more positive review. Recently, we have dined here a couple of times and our experiences have been much better. I am a fan of their brunch menu as it has a little bit of everything and they always have weekend specials. They are also less crowded then some of the other brunch places. Our service has been decent as well. The only awkward thing is to get to the restrooms you have to walk through the back room which is used for larger parties or private parties and it always feels like you are intruding and don't belong.

A friend had recommended this place during a recent dinner so I was curious to try it. After class recently, I was tired, hungry, and eager to have a bite here. I came in with high expectations because of the recommendation and because this brewpub is an institution. It has been around for as long as I can remember.During the summer (for the last few years at least), the streets have been closed to traffic and restaurants have been able to expand their footprint. On weekends during the summer, in the early afternoon, customers were happily enjoying drinks and eats with friends. I, however, chose to eat indoors to escape the heat. Inside, the atmosphere was dark and cool, a relief from the humidity outdoors.I went with the corn fritters to start. They were battered in beer, a bit overcooked, and served with sriracha crema. They were okay, nothing memorable. For my main, I had the walleye. The meal was massive including 3 big pieces of fish, fries, and slaw. The fish was a bit overcooked, and not as moist as it could be. The fries were also a disappointment, crispy definitely, but not tender on the inside. I ended up not being able to finish either item but also not taking home the leftovers. This, to me, was a sign that I wasn't happy with my meal. Not all was lost. The side salad between the app and the main was refreshing.Service was fine; the bartender was hopping, taking care of customers at the bar, but also helping out with the tables outside.

My coworker and I stopped in here while visiting from California. We enjoyed the burger and steak bites. Unfortunately didn't try the famous wings. We'll have to come back! Delicious food and nostalgic ambiance.

"We came here for our anniversary. I made a reservation for 8:00, but we arrived at 7:45 and got right in. The hostess was very friendly, and we loved our server. The food was outstanding. We had steak bites, cabbage soup, Caesar salad, twin lobster tails, a vegetable pasta (Lupino), and butter cake. The gravy on the steak bites was amazing, and we couldn't stop talking about it. The soup and salad were about what you'd expect. The lobster was perfect and the pesto on the pasta was delicious, without being overpowering, and the vegetables with the pasta were fresh and flavorful. The butter cake was the best cake we've ever had in a restaurant. All the portion sizes were perfect, and we left feeling satisfied without being too full (which rarely happens with so many different items on the table). We also tried three different cocktails. The Boozy Bubbles was a great choice for social media in October, since it comes out smoking and bubbling. It tasted good as well, and went down easily but still had a kick. The New Old Fashioned was good, maybe the second best we've had. The Berry Blissful was interesting, kind of like a watery smoothie with alcohol. They all tasted great and had a thick, syrupy texture, which I thought was interesting. The feel of the place is a casual luxury. It's moody inside but there are TVs at the bar and contemporary music playing. The restrooms were very clean and well-lit. Guests were wearing a variety of clothing, from sweatshirts to cocktail dresses, and they all seemed to fit in nicely. We saw high chairs and a guest with a newborn in a car seat, but I wouldn't recommend taking young children due to all the glass and other decor on the table. We will be back!"
"Best greasy spoon, although has become quite expensive (but where hasn't?). Quick service. Love the retro 90's interior design."
"We got the lamb soup, chicken and beef, and mango smoothie to go.The lamb soup kind of tasted like beans and lentil soup of sorts, I was expecting more lamb flavor to it.Of the chicken and beef combo platter, I liked the chicken more; it was flavorful and tender. On the other hand, beef was a little harder to chew on.Mango smoothie has subtle hints of spices added to it, which I like of the flavor. But the smoothie was just a little too sweet for me and I had to water it down a bit."
"Great brick oven pizza! Nice atmosphere while dining in. We usually do carry out since we live very close."
"Got the I -75 shawarma and cilantro fries which both are delicious and that jalapeno ketchup is the best with those fries ....it's always a treat when I'm in the area when I can stop in I love this place HIGHLY SUGGEST TRYING this place out"
"If I could leave more stars I would. The Fries & shine are phenomenal! I also tried the Peanut Burger. That is one unique tasty burger. Jessica's service is top notch. I'm in town for work and will definitely be back!!"
"We were in Allen Park for the Made in Michigan fair. We decided we wanted to go somewhere different (i.e.; not the same cuisine we usually have) and Bierkeller came up, so we decided to try it. When we walked in, we were the only ones there, but it was at an odd time -- about 4:15 on a Friday afternoon, so we felt a little self-conscious. But, we were greeted warmly and after a few minutes, other people started showing upThey had so many unusual and yummy looking choices on the menu that it was really hard to decide. But, decide we did. I got the Bierkeller bowl, and my sister got the chicken paprikash bowl. Both servings were huge and were served with garlic bread. Both were also delicious! The service was really good as well. Our server brought us refills on our iced tea (yeah, we don't really drink, but they had LOTS of beer and other spirits for those who do) without us asking, and when she noticed that we were finished, she brought us boxes for our leftovers. This is in no way a convenient location from where we live, but with the variety of fare that they offer and the reasonable prices, I can see myself deciding that it's worthy of a trip just on its own merits."
"It's very convenient here they have their own behind the building, with accessibility ramps for those who need help in getting into the restaurant. I ordered the signature fillet, and it was OK but I wouldn't say it's the best. It was medium, but the meat was a bit tough. The zip sauce was a bit on the salty side. The green beans were slightly tough. The mashed potatoes were just average. The service was friendly, but busy so didn't check on us much. I wanted a drink refill and never received it. The olive oil and sun dried tomato dip for the bread was tasty. The dining areas couldn't control their heating unit. It was blasting and scorching hot."
"We recently had our office holiday party at Weber's Restaurant, and it was a delightful experience. The restaurant features a warm and inviting atmosphere, making it a versatile venue for everything from casual dining to special events. Their attention to detail, quality of food, and exceptional service make Weber's a favorite for locals and visitors alike. The lunch at the Ballroom was well-organized, with a great variety of dishes. The food was delicious, especially the desserts, which were a standout. The place was clean, the service was excellent, and the staff were friendly and accommodating. Parking was convenient, adding to the overall hassle-free experience. A perfect spot for gatherings with good food and a welcoming ambiance!"
"We had a 4:00 pm reservation for 11 for our dad's birthday. We were seated immediately and greeted by the server for drink orders right away. Our parents had the day wrong and ended up showing up 1 1/2 hours later. We felt awful taking a table for so long, but our server Monica was amazingly patient and kept our drink orders flowing. The food was very good and plentiful. Most of us left with takeout containers. We used to visit the Highland House many years ago, the building and atmosphere is welcoming and clean."
"We love Chomp! We are here once a week. Service is friendly and SUPER fast. With little kids, it is great, because they get fed quickly. Food is wonderful. I personally almost always order off of the specials list (butternut squash grilled cheese is killer right now) and am rarely disappointed. The amount of food is a lot too! I usually get two meals out of one. Smoothies and juices are great too as are the vegan options. Definitely recommend!"
"Recommendation from our neighbor at the marina. Anna Maria just like the island pretty easy to remember. But she told us we had to try outl Mikes. So since we didn't have a car they dropped us off. Oh my gosh this is the place to die for. Picked the inside for tonight, walk the restaurant tomorrow night we will be going outside. Peggy ordered a chicken sandwich and I ordered the perch she said it was a number one seller. The service and the food has been outstanding and just reeks ambience if you're not happy with one area move to another there's all kinds of choices . Deceptive from the outside. The food was outstanding, if you like coleslaw be sure to order it."
"Awesome location to play pinball! Menu is amazing and really friendly and fantastic service. Check out Terry's Terrace if you're in the area"
"Walking to the Airbnb after a full day's work and followed Yelp here. Loving practicing for retirement! Starting with saganaki and roasted Brussels sprouts. We'll see if we want more. My eyes are always bigger than my stomachBrandi tells me the "seasonal veggies "'are FRESH and not cooked to mush. Excited to try them next time. Give Louie's a try!!"
"What a beautiful time! Came on Mothers Day weekend Saturday for brunch. From the time we walked in, the atmosphere was fabulous! We didn't have reservations, but we did arrive close to the time of opening. We waited less than 10 minutes for a table, so that was exciting! The staff was amazing and the DJ was top-notch! The drinks, the food, all wonderful. We were laughing and singing the entire time. We even got up and hustled, per the dj request. There is an 18% gratuity per table, so be aware of that. The service is exceptional, so I feel that's appropriate. I can definitely see myself returning."
"Was waiting for the wife to get a procedure done so I went exploring the hood and see this place saying servicing since 1952 so I had to try it if they been going strong that long!!It's definitely a play off white castles but they are smashed burgers instead of patties . Same concept with pickles and grilled onions. They are also sliders as well. We got the double cheeseburgers and also the fizzy fries It came with bacon, ranch, cheese on them . I have to say pretty good they didn't chince on the items. We also got a vanilla malt to wash it all down. I like the way it looked inside old school diner vibes. They even served the burgers on a real plate. Little pricey but again I guess it's the experience to try something new when you don't live in the area . But they were busy !! If in the area give it a try sorry forgot to take pics but there are pic on their posts ."
"Carlyle Grill is a go-to stop for outdoor Happy Hour, good drinks and food. Their French onion soup is top notch. A meal in a bowl. Don't pass up the chips and salsa. My sister likes the Caesar salad with grilled shrimp. The burgers are really good and don't pass up the chef feature. It's usually very good. Service kicks butt whether you're in the bar or dining room. We tend to visit the bar. Trace, Shane and Kelsey hustle for their patrons. It's a great neighborhood spot."
"The happy hour here is pretty good! There's discounts on some of the appetizers and drinks are $3.50-$6. It's m-f 3-6. I had a really solid reuben, but was kind of jealous of the people who got fish and chips because it looked amazing. Their outdoor area is cute and has fire tables and stuff. I'd go back!"
"This is a FANTASTIC restaurant for breakfast and/or lunch. A hidden gem in downtown Northville that was recommended. Do not pass this by.The menu is huge with so much to choose from and the breakfast items we had were EXCELLENT and large helpings. We all had a variety of eggs with sides of sausage and hash browns and very reasonable pricing.Service was great. They were very friendly and efficient. We never had to ask for coffee. The vibe is eclectic. A wide variety of unique wall hangings and even a fish tank AND an electric train that ran around from the ceiling. Very cool. All in all, "THE" place to go in Northville."
"Another great meal at Thomas's. There's a reason it's always busy here, the food is consistently delicious and the service is excellent.I usually order the polish plate with city chicken, pierogi, and stuffed cabbage (comes with a soup or salad too), I ordered the Maurice salad today. It didn't disappoint- just like Hudson's but twice the size.Thank-you to our waitress, Jennifer- she navigates the requests of our aging parents with the patience of a saint.Homemade food, professional staff, and they serve beer and wine. Yes!"
"My friend and I drive 20-30mins just come here to get the cheese fries. We discovered this place pre-pandemic on a night after drinking. I will say the food hits different when you're a little drunk, but I've been here sober and it's still delicious. Don't come here if you aren't into a greasy little treat yourself type meal. It's a smaller place but we've always just eaten our meal in the car while we chat. This place will always be connected to good memories for me, and if I'm ever in the area I'll always try to make it in."
"This local restaurant had phenomenal service, delicious coney dogs and incredible Greek salad. The homemade dressing is to die for! We really loved this place! We came in from out of state for a family visit and stopped here. We will definitely return the next time we are in town!"
"We absolutely love this place! Their food is consistently fresh, hot, and delicious! We've been here multiple times and honestly haven't had a bad experience, even when busy! Service is always on point. Our waitress was very attentive to us! Ambiance is great also....there's a bar side and dining side! Love this place! Highly recommend. 10/10!"
