"I live extremely close to this location, and I was very surprised that I had never heard of it before. The service is extremely respectful and so welcoming to everyone that walks through the front door and it makes so much sense that they've received so many accolades for their business. The ambience inside is very Mediterranean and it smells superb. I went with some falafel bites and took home a rice pudding. The crunchiness and fresh taste behind the falafel had me hooked instantly. It came with a delicious dipping sauce that I gate-kept from the rest of my family haha!Highly recommend to anyone looking for authentic Mediterranean food!"

"My friends suggested to meet for a ladies brunch day at the Public House. I has never ate at Public House, so I was excited to finally try the restaurant out. And I wasn't disappointed with the experience!My friends and I ordered the Mimosas Tower, which for four people, still was too much to handle! I ordered the Sausage Scramble, which was really good! And so much food! I ended up having the leftovers boxed up to go. My friends and I shared the Classic French Toast. "Uptown Grille has been a place I frequent often when home the atmosphere and the food are always A1 this trip was no different, went during a busy Saturday night (lions where playing) unable to get a seat at the bar however they had the patio open. All of the food came out hot and fresh and delicious! They never disappoint with the portion sizes of everything they note shareable items but truthfully everything is shareable as the portion sizes are huge and you definitely getting what you pay for. Not pictures is the truffle Mac and tenderloins which was so good! And huge had to take most of it home with us. The service was great our waiter Chris continued to come back and check on us and let us know the bar was busy and so our drinks would be slow that was truly appreciated. As for the atmosphere it is a great place to watch the game, get some music(live, dj or simply pandora) we were lucky we got live music and a DJ in one night. It is definitely loud on big game days but a nice chill place to go and watch the game or simply get someGreat food and some good drinks."

"During our annual trip to Kringle Mart I always walk up and down the street and see the plethora of cool places to eat and want to try them all, so it has become a goal to eat at the different restaurants in downtown Rochester and this was our first place we've made it to. It is such an adorable space, I love the decor. It is a cozy place to dine and people watch. The service was excellent, the people working here seem to go way out of their way to make all feel welcome and taken care of. It also seems like a popular choice, there was a very steady stream of customers.The first thing our server offered was some bread to snack on. This was amazing, any place that gives you snacking bread is the best place in my book. I love snacks. The bread came in an adorable bag and it was hot and fluffy with a bit of savory topping on the top. We ordered some drinks. We got a chocolate pastry dark beer from Untitled Art. I had never heard of that brewery but it was delicious. So sweet and delicious, exactly like a dessert. We tried a couple cocktails. They were very interesting. Very herbaceous, not quite my favorite, but I want to expand my palate. It was not our servers fault, she let me know if I was not satisfied with anything they would remake me anything I was not satisfied with, but I kept them because I like trying different specialties on a menu. I would come back for cocktails again and try some other choices next time.The food was great. My husband got the Brussel sprouts and a short rib enchilada. The got their side salad. It was amazing, and such a nice portion. I really appreciate that they offer their salads as an entree or on the side, very nice for customers who want it as a meal or a side. The poppyseed dressing was refreshing and delicious. I also wanted a steak frites. I have not had steak in ages and it was a good choice to come here. The steak was a huge portion and very well cooked. The fries were perfectly crispy and slices so thin and the spinach was great. With the zip sauce it was the perfect bite to get a little steak, fry, and spinach dipped into it. I was able to take home half the meal and share with the kids who also liked it. The meat on the steak was so tender and great the next day. The zip sauce was perfect and did not solidify the next day either. I would highly recommend this dish.They also had good sounding desserts and they make their own ice cream, so maybe next time we will try it. I would love to return here soon."

Burgers are the epitome of comfort food, combining juicy patties, melty cheese, and an array of delicious toppings. This is why I love the Grizzle! Solid unpretentious food in a pub setting. Great draft beer. Nice college town atmosphere. I'm not complaining but the only puzzle is....what are cheese curds doing on the menu? Are we in Michigan or Wisconsin? No idea why they are here, but they're delicious!"

Came here for the NFL draft and oh my goodness did they fill up QUICK! if there is an event downtown and you plan to come here, I recommend getting there early. We had a relatively Short wait being game day and ruminated on our options and went with a dinner platter to Maximize our food savory options. it was gold, the bbq ribs and pulled pork were flavorful, tender, and mouth watering. our sides were just as good and if you like mac and cheese the cling was great and texture was perfect. the cornbread was just right, that is if you like a more moist bread that doesn't crumble when you put your fork into it. we finished the evening with a birthday special getting a highly recommended ice cream bowl with chocolate chip cookie buried underneath. the icing on the top was having an electric atmosphere at the big house and celebrating another michgan win! go blue! next time you're in Ann Arbor you have to check out Blue tractor bbq and brewery! If they knocked a few bucks off, I'd be back in a heartbeat. For now, it's a "treat yourself" kind of meal--delicious, but definitely not an everyday splurge."

"We came here for our anniversary. I made a reservation for 8:00, but we arrived at 7:45 and got right in. The hostess was very friendly, and we loved our server. The food was outstanding. We had steak bites, cabbage soup, Caesar salad, twin lobster tails, a vegetable pasta (Lupino), and butter cake. The gravy on the steak bites was amazing, and we couldn't stop talking about it. The soup and salad were about what you'd expect. The lobster was perfect and the pesto on the pasta was delicious, without being overpowering, and the vegetables with the pasta were fresh and flavorful. The butter cake was the best cake we've ever had in a restaurant. All the portion sizes were perfect, and we left feeling satisfied without being too full (which rarely happens with so many different items on the table). We also tried three different cocktails. The Boozy Bubbles was a great choice for social media in October, since it comes out smoking and bubbling. It tasted good as well, and went down easily but still had a kick. The New Old Fashioned was good, maybe the second best we've had. The Berry Blissful was interesting, kind of like a watery smoothie with alcohol. They all tasted great and had a thick, syrupy texture, which I thought was interesting. The feel of the place is a casual luxury. It's moody inside but there are TVs at the bar and contemporary music playing. The restrooms were very clean and well-lit. Guests were wearing a variety of clothing, from sweatshirts to cocktail dresses, and they all seemed to fit in nicely. We saw high chairs and a guest with a newborn in a car seat, but I wouldn't recommend taking young children due to all the glass and other decor on the table. We will be back!"

"We were in Allen Park for the Made in Michigan fair. We decided we wanted to go somewhere different (i.e.; not the same cuisine we usually have) and Bierkeller came up, so we decided to try it. When we walked in, we were the only ones there, but it was at an odd time -- about 4:15 on a Friday afternoon, so we felt a little self-conscious. But, we were greeted warmly and after a few minutes, other people started showing upThey had so many unusual and yummy looking choices on the menu that it was really hard to decide. But, decide we did. I got the Bierkeller bowl, and my sister got the chicken paprikash bowl. Both servings were huge and were served with garlic bread. Both were also delicious! The service was really good as well. Our server brought us refills on our iced tea (yeah, we don't really drink, but they had LOTS of beer and other spirits for those who do) without us asking, and when she noticed that we were finished, she brought us boxes for our leftovers.This is in no way a convenient location from where we live, but with the variety of fare that they offer and the reasonable prices, I can see myself deciding that it's worthy of a trip just on its own merits."

We didn't have reservations, but we did arrive close to the time of opening. We waited less than 10 minutes for a table, so that was exciting! The staff was amazing and the DJ was top-notch! The drinks, the food, all wonderful. We were laughing and singing the entire time. We even got up and hustled, per the dj request. There is an 18% gratuity per table, so be aware of that. The service is exceptional, so I feel that's appropriate. I can definitely see myself returning."
