C King & Cafe

This was a great little resto bar. My cocktail was a perfect match with our salad and seasonal pizza. Jack, our server, was fantastic and shockingly a Canadian like us! We will go back again if softball brings us to the area.

Ummm this place rules? Staff was super nice and I love the vibe of the interior as well as the amazing bar.Our veggie pizza special was kind of meh and bland, but there are others on the menu I'm sure hit it out of the park.Tons of delicious sounding salads to choose from and a stellar charcuterie board that includes generous veggies and fruit...amazing?!Really love their NA drink offerings.Can't wait to return for more charcuterie, a giant meatball, and to try more pizzas and salads. Their dessert menu looked very interesting as well -- give that a peep for sure.Save a spot for me!

Historical, renovated to feel like you're stepping back into time - in the most beautiful way. Friendly and talented bartender. We came here for cocktail after a dismal experience down the street. C King is a master at crafting unusual, delicious and unique cocktail. Great selection of all liquors and some beer on draft. They serve brunch will will be the next visit to try out their food, but watching others get their plates - it looked so good!

After looking for new restaurants in my area to visit with friends, I happened into C King & Co. I'd be willing to give them another shot and maybe try something different but it was pretty underwhelming. I like the vibe, it feels like some of the small pizzerias I've visited in Europe. Unfortunately, service also reminded me of my time in Europe; our server was very friendly but it was very slow. On the one hand I only saw two people on staff but the place was anything but busy. My friends & I tried some apps. I went with the mushroom pizza. Nothing was bad, but also there was nothing that made me think that I needed to come back.Again, if I'm at Ypsi Cocktail Club and get hungry, maybe I'd be up for a stroll across the street to try something new and hopefully have a better experience. But it was firmly below average for me.

Great pizza and date atmosphere!!! Make sure to get a variety from the menu because you won't regret it. Service is what is expected from a higher end type restaurant

C King & Cafe simply rocks. We came 2 nights in a row because we could not resist the amazing pizzas, out of this world desserts, great wine / bourbon selection, great ambiance / art and amazing kind staff. Servers / bartenders Liam and Allison are the best. They catered to all our needs. Finally chef Rich is one cool guy and brain child behind this place - 1000 high fives to him. Can't wait to come back again and again.

This tiny place on Michigan Avenue in Ypsilanti is a real gem. It is located in an own Mercantile and looks the part. It has been open a little less than a year Want to everyone to stop by and support this little Ypsilanti establishment. Met the owner the night we were there. Elizabeth was singing jazz on a Wednesday night. They make an awesome mushroom pizza. The menu is limited, but if you enjoy pizza or salad, I'm sure you're going to find some thing you'll enjoy.

C King & Co is an excellent restaurant in downtown Ypsi. It's a great proposition for date night, with a full bar and excellent menu, plus fantastic ambiance and great service. After a recent visit to C King and Co on a weekday, I'm going to say it's probably one of the most slept-on spots in Ypsi right now -- we came in at dinner time and the restaurant was less than 50% full, so I'm thinking that people haven't realized how fantastic the food is. The pizza here is excellent, especially for the money. I'll add that the salad is great too (particularly the arugula salad), and I'm not even usually a salad person! The salad is deceptively large: when it's presented it doesn't look big, but we found that a pizza and a salad was enough food for two people with a bit of leftovers as well. Overall, I'll close by saying that you definitely need to check out C King & Co!

Great cocktails, friendly waitstaff, absolute best pizza in the area. The smoked trout board is my absolute favourite although the brunch is pretty amazing too.

The place is gorgeous and the food and wine are excellent so it makes for an exceptional experience. The bartender suggested a perfect wine pairing for my meal-panzanella salad and a garlic, mushroom pizza. I highly recommend it!
