Buoy 12

Rating a 4 out of 5 the first time. I moved right down the street and figured I would try this place. The customer service is beyond slow- the bartender was extremely slow and remind you it's Sunday at 4:00pm. Unfortunately last time here.The people all seem nice here but not the right environment for me. I would never eat anything from here.

Hey, yo. I like this place. Not fancy shmancy at all, but just off Lake St Clair and these are my people. I primarily go for karaoke and the sound is good and you can usually get quite a few songs in where as some other places you might have to hang out all night just to get a couple in. They have a couple pool tables so you got that going for you. Doesn't seem to be a real active kitchen but there is one so you can get something if you want a bite. Like I said, for me it's the karaoke and the local crowd. You got it right, it's called Buoy12 because it's near 12 mile and Jefferson right near the water. Come out and have a drink and sing a song or two (karaoke Wed and Friday if I remember, but call to make sure). Come park yourself at the Buoy and hang with the locals!

Terrible.Ever had a stuffed pepper with chunks of roast beef in it? How about a cheese dome burnt to a hard shell with a blow torch on top of it? No, well head on down to this place for a try. That is if you can get a seat at the bar which is mostly populated by the local retired cheapskate club there for the $1 beers that they nurse all day long.Bad food, horrific service and a local drunk hangout atmosphere. What possibly can go wrong?

Had the buoy dog . It was wrapped in bacon and deep fried with onion and Steve's sweet relish. It came with a side of potato salad and baked beans. Everything was very tasty but the beans they were rather bland. Got two labatts blue pints $1.75 each not bad. Lunch for two was $14.00 really reasonable.

So these are some of the best people. I walked there today after locking myself out of my house. When the staff heard about my predicament Angela drove me home to take care of my dog who was out in freezing temperatures. I will definitely be coming back.

Need to insulate patio, very drafty Woman's bathroom freezing. Wings, great would get again and recommend. Pasta night. You get garlic Texas toast but salad is ala, not included with entree. Cook needs to know with pre-cooked noodles to plz put in strainer and dunk into pan boiling water ready on stove. Chicken Parm. Chicken Seems almost microwaved. Too thick and couldnt say it was fully cooked with odd consistency? Easy remedy to correct by slicing thru middle and easily cook right way in skillet and serve as two somewhat thinner pieces. Pizza crust was good. But again pizza needed just about 2 extra minutes to cook. Waitress was very friendly when we got her attention. Place was quite besides bar going. Why she brought out entrees all separately seemed odd; not using trays. Not a total loss, but...

Came here for the first time last Saturday at 8pm. Figured we would give it a try while seeing it on Groupon. Was given one menu by the waitress at 8:15pm for us to share and was quickly told that the kitchen closes at 9pm. We ordered our dinners as a party of 10 arrived. I also ordered a grilled chicken salad as a carry out when we ordered our dinner. I Ordered a NY strip steak and it was mediocre at best. Was made on a regular flat grill and didn't have much of any flavor. I wanted to remind the waitress of my carry out, but she got too busy with the party of 10. She didn't come back until just after 9pm which I then reminded her about the salad I ordered and the look on her face told me she forgot. Sure enough she did and then 5 minutes later proceeded to tell me that the cook wasn't going to make the salad. So I then have to get a carry out dinner to bring home to my daughter from somewhere else. Also, $5 for a bottled beer for a hole in the wall???? No wonder they were dead on a Saturday evening!!

Absolute trash. Don't go here unless you like terrible service and listening to drunk locals talking to the drunk bartenders. The cooks smoke while they make food. Cant believe this place is in business. Don't go here.

I bought a Groupon for this place, it was the biggest mistake I ever made. I went there twice trying to use it but I had no success the first time I went and they said the kitchen was closed at about 8pm..??? So I went earlier a couple days later and I was given a menu and the waitress/bartender never came back I waited for about 10 minutes. I guess I didn't have the right paint job to receive service which I should've figured since the way everyone was staring at me so I left and cashed in my Groupon. I don't recommend this place to any minority(hint)!

Looked like an interesting spot to stop so we did and glad we didLimited COVID menu but what was on it was really good I had a burger, beans and potato salad, wife had a personal pizza both surprisedly tasty! Service was great and nice neighborhood joint atmosphere Will return
