Bumpers Landing

Everything is yummy!!!! Staff is great!!!!! Great gathering place! I LOVE this bar!!!! It's our usual 'go to' place for good food, good friends and good times!!!!

Although Bumpers is on the water, that felt like the only redeeming part of it. Service took a while, and food wasn't that great. I had a chicken sandwich and the best part was the pickles on it. Would only recommend for a quick drink and nice view.

Yes! We were going to go Nextdoor again, but decided to experiment. OMG - why are you hiding the grouper bites at the itty bitty bottom of the menu? They are so delish!!!! My BF loved the Ft. Myers cocktail too! Great outdoor seating area. Beautiful boat watching!

We found this to be a dockside grill and bar serving a mostly typical Michigan dockside and bar menu with a large number of outdoor and indoor seating option. Service was prompt, efficient and friendly. We received a helpful heads up that the kitchen was running behind (took 30 minutes) and we appreciated it. We enjoyed nice views of the boats and the water on the canal. The food was decent, but could have been a 4+ experience it had a bit more flare, uniqueness and freshness. Overall rating 3.25Here's what we ate:- Nashville Hot Chicken Sandwich w/ onion rings (extra $). The sandwich tasted decent, but didn't seem hand dipped or fresh (nor was it promoted as such). The sauce was tasty and had a tad bit of heat, however it needed more sauce and definitely more ranch. Nice paring with the pickles. Onion rings were good - but not fresh or hand dipped. Rating: 3.5- B.L.A.T w/ sweet potato fries. This looked great but didn't deliver on the flavor. It was decent, but we found the bacon to be a bit greasy. Maybe some pico added to the avocado would help... sweet potato fries were average. Rating 3.0- perch dinner: the portion of perch was decent, but the breading could use some seasoning. Didn't seem to have much but a flour/egg dredge maybe...? Coleslaw and tarter was not fresh, but tasted decent. Average sweet potato fries. Rating 3.0Ambiance and location make up for the average+ food. Would recommend and come back again.

We walked in shortly after they opened. We had just left a huge marathon and needed to refuel. We sat at a table out on the marina. No umbrella just out in the sun. It took our waitress 30 minutes to even get us drinks. I am not a patient person but I sat and waited. Finally. We order along with other large parties. How is it that those parties got their food, ate, and were leaving and I was still sitting with a coke. After an hour and a half in the sun with empty promises that ours was next. Ma'am, you said that 15 customers ago. I walked to the front to look for a manager and man that was a mistake. Find her and she makes us wait another 5 minutes. Again, ma'am, your establishment needs more help. Maybe dare I say better? And get some dang umbrellas. I had so much sunscreen on from the race, reapplied as we sat. This is absolutely terrible. If you decide this is the place for you, good luck.

Don't dine here if you're black. A group of 7 of us came to the restaurant. We were treated with disrespect and talked down to. We were the only black table in the restaurant. The waitress and manager made us so uncomfortable that we left immediately left. This establish is racist and I would not waste my money or time with them.

Zero stars for the business - 1st timeI don't expect a grand hello all the same the 3 female staff @ front entrance off lot lack genuine mannerisms of one feeling welcomed - instead it reminded me of burnout alley back in the HS days, STARES, GLARES, how embarrassing for the owner. I can understand start of shift, getting things together & perhaps a greeting wasn't something of concern @ the time, opening @ 1100hrs - however as a customer, a new one @ that, the glares and their disinterest REFLECTS ON MANAGEMENT - all of them looked like they just rolled out of bed, tiredZero hospitality- other places to visit!!

Haven't been there since they went crazy for trump. I won't go to any business that wears their politics so openly.Back then, the food was great. Loved their BLT with Avacado, best bacon, great sandwich.Music is always too loud, can hardly carry on a conversation when it is busy. Great bar and great outdoors, great docks on the river. I just don't want my meal to be politicized. It is totally unnecessary.Just get rid of trump and you get a 5-Star rating.

We had a great server, Lauren who was right on top of everything and made sure our drinks were always refreshed! Atmosphere was good!!The calamari was not very good. Had a real strong fishy taste and it was greasy.The grouper nuggets were terrible. Overcooked and very fishy tasting too!!The wrap and the buffalo chicken was OK. Food just not something I would have to come
