Buck-N-Dinks BBQ

Came out and got the baby back ribs! Holy they were awesome. They aren't dried out, still fall off the bone but have some chew and crispy on the outside, not fatty and the bbq sauce is tasty! Also got the brisket again cause it was just so good last time and it didn't disappoint!

We love when the Buck-N-Dinks BBQ Truck comes over to the Detroit Arsenal for Food Truck days! I make it a point to come out and get some food when they're here. I tried the sampler (pulled pork sandwich, brisket sandwich and walking taco) for the first visit and it was all really good and very filling. Someone mentioned the chili dog so I tried it on my second visit and really like it! I like the walking taco, the chili is really good and not what I expected from a BBQ truck. The owner and staff are very friendly and the prices are reasonable. I usually take a few coworkers to try it out when they come and they've all enjoyed the food as well. Thanks for coming out!

I recently attended the Downtown Utica food truck rally. It's not too often I get to go to a food truck rally so close to home, so I try to take advantage whenever I possibly can. Also, I had tickets to see the Beavers play the Mammoths at Jimmy John's field right across the street anyway. It was meant to be.I landed on Buck-N-Dinks mainly because there wasn't a line. I didn't take that as a sign that all of the foods at the other trucks were better. Honestly I overheard someone else order from this truck...and the gentleman in the window said "we have really good chili". I saw that they had a chili dog on the menu and I immediately wanted that in my belly. After I ordered it, the kind gentleman asked if I wanted cheese on it...then answered "yeah, you want cheese" with a smile. I responded with a "yeah, sure".When I got to my cozy spot in the shade, I really didn't expect much from inside that small container I carried with me through the crowd. When I opened the container my mind was blown. At that moment I realized I was holding quite possibly the most tasty chili dog I've ever laid eyes on. Seriously it looked effing glorious. I have to tell you that it tasted just as good as it looked. The man in the window was not lying, they have really good chili. The chili was slightly sweet and had lots of delicious and tender beans. When it was mixed with the shreddy cheese and the dog...wow. It was really good.I didn't try anything else but the chili dog from this joint. I will try more next time. I saw they had brisket and chicken on the menu...I will definitely be back! I would implore you to give this place a try if you get a chance. The food was amazing!! We tried the brisket, pork and the frito pie everything was delicious we got back in-line for seconds! The IPA chili on the frito pie was so good! Prices were affordable too. We will definitely track this truck down again. The people that worked the truck were super friendly too.

We had the bbq brisket sandwiches. They were phenomenal! This was by far the best bbq brisket I've ever had. It was so good that we got it yesterday and went back again today for the same thing. We will definitely be back again and again.

The Ribs are incredible. I definitely will be going back. The sides are also great mac & cheese had a smoked flavor to it and the pork and beans had a good onion flavor Great little place

We have use Buck-N-Dinks for a catering event at our plant and our company soft ball tournament and the food is always GREAT! And let's talk about friendly they go out of their way to make sure we are all good. If you like barbeque you will love this.

So, this review has nothing to do with how good the food is.I just wanted to let you all know, that this food truck is NOT on Silvery Lane in Dearborn Heights. I looked at the map on Yelp, which indicates Silvery Lane is the address for them - but it isn't. I drove down Silvery Lane, and realized this was just a residential street. Disappointed I did not find it, because the reviews for the food are great.I also clicked on the link to their website (https://www.buckndinks.com/), but their location wasn't listed their either. SO, I'm not sure how to find the location of the truck, on any given day?Hey Buck n Dink - you need to provide an address, so we can locate you! Or, if you are catering only - make that a BOLD statement on Yelp, and your website too! ;-)

Buck-N-Dinks was great to work with. I highly recommend their food truck. I had a large event to cater from a long way away, and dealing with Buck-N-Dinks was simple and professional. They really made the set up easy. They arrived plenty early so they could get cooking. The BBQ was great and so was the chili. Everyone at the event commented on how good the food was. Buck-N-Dinks made the day, and I'm very grateful for their wonderful service.

So my buddy said I had to try this place. "Great (expletive deleted) BBQ" he says. I am not a big Food Truck guy but they rolled up right outside my office building so I figured "Why not?". I like me some Quality BBQ, I drove an hour out of my way last time I was in Kansas for BBQ why not try this.I got the $11 sampler, for my $11 I got a pulled pork slider (think King's Hawiian style roll with like an inch of meat dripping in sweet N' Tangy BBQ sauce and 2 pickle slices). It was good but I am still skeptical smoking a pork shoulder is time consuming but not a real test.Next I turn to my Frito Pie. I had no idea what this was but my buddy said "I can't recommend the Frito Pie enough and I don't even like Fritos" ok so I look in my mini bag of Fritos. I see nothing but shredded cheese. I stir it around with the supplied Spork. And take a bite it has a really good chili taste mixed with the salty crunch of the corn chip and the melted cheese. This has some really good flavors going. Not really my bag as I don't really get the smokiness in the Chili I was hoping for after tasting it in the PP slider. But make no mistake the bag was all but licked clean,Finally I open the last of my sampler the crown jewel of BBQ Beef Brisket. Again it came in the slider form of a kings Hawiian Roll heaped with shredded Brisket. I was fortunate enough to get some Smokey bark and tender inside on my first bite. This is some GOOD brisket, tender, moist, some smoke, again sweet and tangy BBQ sauce and topped with 2 pickle slices. This thing is AWSOME, the only part I didn't like was there wasn't more and by the time I finished it there was a line. If this place rolls up on you throw your money at him and get some food. Or if you have a min track him down!!Now I have to wipe the sauce off my screen!
