Brightmoor Family Grille

I was planning to try this place and after seeing The Hungry Black Man's review...I knew I was right to have it on my list.I had the turkey meatloaf with cabbage and mac n cheese. Everything was delicious. The turkey meatloaf was moist and well seasoned, the gravy wasn't your typical brown gravy. It had a hint of jerk flavor to it, making it very unique AND very good. The mac n cheese was cheesy,but not too cheesy. The cabbage could have used a few more carrots, but it was perfectly cooked. I also ordered a beef patty and plantains to take home for later...Both were also good. The crust on the beef patty...mwah (chef's kiss)! It was so flaky. I could've have used a little more beef, but that's only because it was so tasty.It seems most people carryout, but inside seating is available...there are 8 or 9 booths and a couple of tables. There was a pretty steady flow of customers while I was there, but I was the only one who chose to dine-in.The service was great. My food came out rather quickly and everything was hot. The employees were very friendly.One thing I noticed is that there was a 3 or 4 percent increase between the price on my receipt on the price on the menu, I'm nit sure what that was.I'll definitely be back because I have to try the oxtails.

Pulled up on a Monday afternoon for a late lunch. They have a nice size clean parking lot and a drive thru. Walking it it gives Coney Island vibes but the food says otherwise!! Young ladies took out order and also served us. The tables were decorated cute with Valentine's Day decor. I had turkey chops, macaroni and cheese, and cabbage. All delicious. If I had to complain I would say the turkey chops could've been fried 2 minutes longer. My partner had curry goat, white rice, and plantains. Also delicious!! We had champagne kola and pineapple soda for drinks. Service was excellent. Shout out to the owners and staff of this establishment for bringing great food to the Brightmoor neighborhood!!

The food was surprisingly good, I suggest ordering ahead cause they can take some time. Sides were really well prepared.

The day we went in it was very crowded in the game was on. There was a lot of people waiting for their food. The wait was kind of long but the food was really really good. It's just kind of small place so it's nothing to write home about as far as the ambience. I think because of a recent review that it had got really popular so people were in and out it was quite crowded. But the food was worth going back again. The next time I would like to try the oxtail pizza. I tried the jerk chicken meal and my daughter got the oxtails and curry goat with she thoroughly enjoyed. The Jerk Chicken was a little spicy but not overly powering. But everything was very very tasty.

The food is the real deal a long time coming Pole is the best at what he do my company sell him products and the first time I met him I know I found a place that I can spent my last dollar and I would not be disappointed the service is the best the food is good is always fresh u just got to have patience because you cnt rush greatness me and my company empire is going to make sure he get the best Quality food and service from us so that he can give the best to Brightmoor which the Community deserve his food is great and worth the wait

Food is always fresh and hot, I have enjoyed everything I've tried so far which includes curry chicken and goat. Jerk chicken. The rice and cabbage are my go to sides. Staff is always pleasant.

I waited 48 minutes for a 2 piece (fried) chicken dinner!! And let me tell you it was horrible just terrible food!! After 25 minutes I asked about my order. They said they had to makes sure that the chicken was cooked properly!! That was such an understatement my chicken was hard as a rock! The mac and cheese was so bland and the greens were just a mess!! I don't know how to describe the greens they had a weird taste. I also had the yams they were actually halfway decent. But let's get back to the chicken, 48 minutes later I was served a brick!! They should not have given me that chicken. I also got my friend a burger and they said it was weirdly prepared. So $32 later we're stuck with foods we can't consume!!!! I was also supposed to get a couple of cookies for my extremely long wait for my horrible food. He didn't give them to us So not only is the food horrible but he is also a liar!!!The only thing decent was there little valentines set up in the dining area. My first time eating at the restaurant and it's definitely going to be my last time!! I really don't want to give any stars!!! Look how dry and hard this chicken was!!! People work hard for their money and we are tired of restaurants ripping us off!! When you order a carry out that is there opportunity to give you the bottom of the barrel so sad!!

Amazingggg I love them! They're so sweet and their pizza is super good. Their oxtails are super tender

Worth the wait food was delicious staff was very friendly they were very busy yummy! Nerve visiting before we started our travels out towards the country of Michigan. We stopped and decided to find a place to eat. Husband picked the spot and it is delicious. This is a must try lots of choices. Also a very clean establishment.
