Everything was amazing from the moment we walked up to the hostess stand to the moment we left as we were told to have a good night! Every staff member was incredibly friendly!! Little touches make the difference, like being handed the menu, the drinks refilled as soon as they are emptied, patience as we looked over the menu. All of our meals were absolutely delicious! Our server Paul was ABSOLUTELY PHENOMENAL! The only negative for my family was that our daughter is easily overwhelmed with new places especially if they are noisy, but once she put her noise-canceling earbuds in, she was fine! She greatly appreciated our server's amazingly sweet demeanor as she needed more time with decisions!

First visit on NYE. Made reservations for 8pm. We am were so surprised that the place was packed. I was concerned about weather and parking so we arrived early, checked in at the desk and had to go across the street to get a drink to wait for our table. Bourbons host sent a text when our table was ready, which was exactly at our reservation time. We sat squeezed in at a two-top along the windows. There's no coat check and no place to put coats and purses which was annoying to have to fight with all the coats at such a small spot for the whole dinner. I ordered a spicy rum cocktail after confirming with the waitress that the drink is spicy. Got the drink, it's was very sweet and tasted like peach but not spicy. She suggested a spicy margarita instead. It came and it was spiced with BBQ seasoning. I thought the rim was tajin but it was hot BBQ or Cajun spice that was smoky. I told her it was fine but it was crap. I didn't want to keep trying. My husband first ordered a bowl of corn chowder. It was more like chicken tortilla soup. No corn but corn flavor, not so much creamy, full of chicken and potatoes. It was smoky and spiced too, which made it taste more like tortilla soup. Our entrees were the Bourbons burger and short ribs. Flavors were good but nothing outstanding. The burger was nicely done and a substantial patty. There were no sauces for the burger and had to get our waitress to get ketchup. Waitress was excellent. She was on top of everything and very gracious. The dining room was very full and loud, even at 9pm. The dining room was well run and turned tables quickly. Everyone was very nice. Glad we tried it was consensus is that we won't be back unless someone asks to go. The food and drinks were underwhelming for the popularity of Bourbons. I am glad we tried it though.

The food was great! We both enjoyed Salmon on salads. My salad was amazing. Our friends ordered an appetizer of flat bread (pizza) with prosciutto and Gruyère which was tasty. The service was great. However the very lovely restaurant is charming but with nothing to absorb the sound of 350 celebrating. I've eaten here when you can sit outside and I would definitely do that again. I prefer a place where you can visit and not shout to be heard.

Love the food here all the times I've been. Today was my first time and brunch and the mushroom omelet was filling and the biscuit is that came with it was delicious. I would hope that they step up their tea game to more offerings and a higher end brand and also have natural sugar for the coffee. Other than that this place is the bomb!

What a great spot! Food was delicious, service was great, and the decor inside was beautiful!! This place would be great for a date, a group party, or just hanging out with friends at the bar. Everything was delicious... my kids are usually picky but had zero complaints. My wife and I split a Nashville Hot Chicken Sandwich, fries, and a Georgia Pecan Salad. It was the perfect size (we were stuffed). My daughter had a pepperoni pizza (too big for her to finish). My son had the Pulled pork sandwich and side of Jalapeños-Grits. I would 100% recommend and return.

Oh we had a n ie time meeting up for lunch on a Saturday. Sat at a nice high top, had views of two great basketball games. The bartender made a killer espresso martini!Highly recommend you start with the fried pickles. They are like French fries yo! Not those huge spears you can't bite without all the batter coming off - FRENCH fries!

Great food and ambiance! My work place has celebrated thanksgiving lunches here multiple times and the food is always good. If there is any issue, they are very accommodating. The first steak was over cooked and they brought me a new one! The jambalaya soup was delicious and the garlic aioli sauce for the steak and fries was super good too. The service was great too! I highly recommend checking them out if you are ever in Brighton.

Friends took us here and we really enjoyed it. The menu is pretty diverse with salads, pizzas, burgers, and entrees like the steak frites that we both ordered. They have a large cocktail list, primarily with bourbon-based drinks but plenty of others to enjoy. My friend personally thought the margarita was too strong (is there truly such a thing?!). I would definitely come back to try other food items and drinks.They have indoor seating with a super long lounge-type couch as one of the main seatings. They also have outdoors, as well as a combo in-and-out room with large windows to bring the outside in.There is free street parking and a municipal lot located behind, making it easy to find somewhere to park.Service was great.

Shrimp , greens, and grits were amazing! Granted, I just came back from eating a whole bunch in SC too but these are up there in terms of quality, taste and portion. Blackened walleye was OK, corn bread is a bit dry - nothing amazing.

My fiancé and I loved Bourbons, never had a bad experience until our last visit. The ambience wasn't great due to the service and attitude we received from two waitresses along with the manager. We had two completely incompetent waitresses, one brought us water and took our drink order after a few minutes. We then didn't see her for 20 minutes, at this point we still hadn't received our drinks nor did anyone take our food order. Another waitress had been eyeing us and came over to take our food order. While taking our food order, the original waitress we had came back to interrupt the waitress taking our order to discuss another table. Something that should have waited until after taking our order and stepping away from our table. Then our original waitress brought our drinks. Sadly the drink I had ordered wasn't made with the correct ingredients, and that drink is my staple here so I knew it was off and had different topping.Someone brought the food out to us, I had already taken a few bites of the Nashville hot chicken sandwich and fries before I noticed a hair inside my chicken sandwich sticking out of the side, and a hair in my pile of fries.Eventually the second waitress that took our order came back, and I pointed out both of the hairs, she then proceeded to take my plate and said they would make me a new sandwich, but we had already been there awhile and I had lost my appetite. I asked to leave the sandwich and to take it off the bill. I did not want a new sandwich made, we didn't want to wait or be there any longer. She said she couldn't do that but they could make me a new sandwich or I could talk to the manager so we said we'd like to talk to the manager.Nate the manager, seemed friendly, we see him every time we come in. When he came to talk to us, we could barely hear his voice as he is extremely shy and may be socially awkward. He then proceeded to take my plate and tell me I couldn't eat it due to health reasons, which I understood, but he insisted on bringing me a new sandwich or one to go. I said no we just want it taken off and that he can leave the sandwich as I do not want a new one. He took the plate, spoke to one of the owners and then brought it back to me, as if I wanted it after he held it for 5 minutes talking. I thought Bourbons had higher standards, I thought they would at least treat their clients right and take the sandwich off the bill without asking, or have one made to go even if I didn't want it. The plate should have been taken to the manager and the kitchen to show the cooks immediately. We shouldn't have had to ask for that to be removed from our bill. We have always been very kind and generous, especially to the people of Bourbons, and that deserved no tip and no bill. This experience left an awful taste in our mouth, and what was once our favorite restaurant, we may never return to. I don't believe we would even be treated well if we did return.
