If there was a way to leave zero stars, I would. This place is an absolute scam. Went here on Saturday Dec 14th. Had a few beers and drinks with friends. When I would go to the bar I closed out my tab each time, I purchased 2 beers and was charged $79 and some change. The guy working the bar kept bragging to everyone how he's made more money that night than he has in the last two weeks. He was clearly increasing his tips on the bill when he closed it. I also went up to the bar to get a cranberry and vodka and a beer, he said it was going to be $15 and he was going to charge me $.01 for the 2 drinks and I had to tip him $25 on top of the $.01 charge. I told him he's not going to tell me what I'm going to tip him and that I would give him what the drinks are worth and if he gets fired for being sketchy that's on him. He charged me $25.01 for the full bill still. The guy is a scam artist. I've tried to call and dispute these charges with the bar personally around 10 times to avoid a charge back on their end but they have failed to call me back. I also went up to the bar on a Sunday as their hours are displayed in google and they were closed. It's extremely frustrating to deal with. If anyone at this establishment had any form of customer service skills I'd have been called back already. This place is trash, do not go!

Bohemia was a kingdom in the Roman Empire, currently where we have the Czech Republic. However the restaurant has nothing to do with that region and the very limited menu skews Middle Eastern. You have to have guts to open a middle eastern restaurant in metro Detroit because we have some of the best Middle Eastern options in the US right around the corner. My ribeye kabob was a very small portion and came with an almost fresh undercooked tomato quarter, five chewy unsalted pieces of fatty meat and a cup of rice. We were there celebrating a birthday with twelve people. They informed us that they were not allowed to split the check or even take more than four cards and the four cards had to be evenly split. I understand restaurants do this but I don't understand why inconvenience their guests if they could just separate bills with required gratuity. With a mixture of couples and singles, splitting the bill with these rules is a huge hassle. After dinner we asked for the dessert menu, only to be told that they don't serve dessert nor do they have coffee or tea. No candles for the birthday boy.The waitress seemed bothered with every basic request and had zero desire to be helpful. The manager did come to our table at the very end and offer to bring dessert from Pinky's ( which they own upstairs) but it was too late, we had a show to catch.

Walked up the the hostess stand. It didn't look too busy. Only a few tables filled outside and inside too. It looks cool inside, a big beautiful chandelier in the center. Thai engraved wood carvings on the one wall, reminds me of the many market artisan crafts in Thailand. There are lots of live plants everywhere too, even at the bar. We were seated quickly with menus. Not one person has come to our table for over 6 minutes. No water, no service, not even a staffer asking if anyone has waited on us yet. No inquiries whatsoever. Being seated is only the first part of decent service. Thinking we should have sat at the bar. The irksome part was I saw other tables with staff serving the other tables inside and outside too. We finally left after 10 minutes of waiting, no one was ever going to come to our table anytime soon.

First of all, this is on the SW corner of Main and Eleven mile. There is a sign on the window but it is hard to see and Google maps is a little off. Really good and friendly service but just something not quite right with the food. I usually eat with my eyes and my pics make the dishes look really good IMHO but sorry...Chicken kabob is very dry with a stringy texture, the ribeye was a good cut of meat but lacked flavor and the rice pilaf tasted like it came out of a Rice A Roni box. At first glance and taste, the hummus is very appealing. But after a few bites, there's a sourness to it. The garlic hummus is just the garlic on top, it's not blended in. The Laffa bread was great at first too but somehow it gets very hard after a few minutes, really weird. Great presentation with the Halloumi and it was good cheese but not sure it merits $14 for that plate. Probably my favorite was the Bohemian Tower, came out hot and crisp. But $16 for fried zucchini and eggplant? Maybe - it's a good portion and prepared very well but why is it called a tower and why put the tzatziki sauce underneath everything? We asked for toum for some added flavor but I think they forgot to put any garlic in the sauce. In the end - perhaps worth another try but the flavor is little lacking and a little overpriced.

I have tried the 2 sister restaurants (Pinky's and Pearl's Deep Dive) so I had high hopes for Bohemia as well. By far the most impressive decor and ambiance goes to Bohemia. I enjoyed the bright color scheme, live plants, and the mixed media art decor. There were a few things that I didn't entirely understand (the rhino figurines and the indoor beach umbrella) but I let it slide. For drinks we ordered the dancing raspberries (it's served with dry ice and that's what makes the raspberries "dance"), Detox Retox, and the Strawberry Negroni. For someone who doesn't typically likes Negronis, I was pleasantly surprised by this one because the vermouth was understated and there's no Campari. For food, we ordered the garlic hummus, zucchini tower, and the branzino. The hummus was just ok and a little over priced ($13!), but I liked the house made Laffa bread that it's served with. The zucchini tower was delicious and perfectly crispy, but again, over priced for basically being zucchini tempura with tzatziki sauce. The branzino was well seasoned and big enough to share. We had great service from our waiter Braden, who was very patient and checked in with us just the right amount. We also didn't have any issues with a rude hostess that has been mentioned in some of the other reviews :/ I will say I was surprised at how dead it seemed on a Friday night. We were there from 6-830pm and only saw maybe 4 other parties. I'm not sure if it's just not well advertised or they're still kind of new, but I would have expected a restaurant of this caliber to be more busy during a peak time. Overall I'd definitely recommend this place for a date night or a fun dinner out with girls, just don't expect it to be a cheap night.

I have been to Pinky's and to Pearl's but not to Bohemia. He hasn't been to Pearl's so this worked out perfectly. All have the same owners but a completely unique atmosphere and menu! The name fits this place. The entire atmosphere is unique! All of the plants are real. They have a gardener who comes in just to care for the plants. There are so many!! We truly enjoyed learning about the concept of the place. We ordered some fun drinks and really enjoyed walking around and looking at everything. I absolutely recommend coming to all three locations!

Meh. We came here on a Friday night during prime dinner time and sat at the bar. The restaurant was pretty much empty. Probably not a good sign. The staff was really friendly. The ambiance was ok. Overall, the food was not good. There were a few dishes that we liked, the bread & the ribeye Kabobs. Also, there was only one cube of chicken in the Chicken Subo Pasta dish. Here's a tip: don't call this a chicken dish if it is not. This way guest won't have that expectation. Everything else was just ok. I really wanted to like this place. But it was underwhelming. There are too many good restaurants in the area to spend your money here. I don't know how they are going to survive. I hope they figure it out.

If I was rating purely on decor - I would give it four stars. Interior is very eclectic and all over the place. There are flowers and pillows and carved wall with huge crystal chandelier in the middle - total mess confusion but amusing. Food is mediocre. Rice and cous cous were not bad, but my ribeye was very chewy and tough. Waitress was highly unpleasant. But most disappointing was the fact that this restaurant doesn't serve coffee or dessert! (Or at least that's what our Waitress told us). Will not come back and would not recommend. There are far better places out there.

Fun Decor in downtown Royal Oak, date night with hubby. We shared the lamb chops which were out of this world delish as was the accompanying couscous with pomegranate. Hubby started with Israeli pistachio potatoes, yum. 4 star because I shared with the waiter that I came in due to a picture of charred carrots that looked really good & I ordered that for starters. When he brought them he said he knows they look different but are just as good. We left 1/2 there and as any chef knows whole carrots are much more flavorful than mini processed carrots. I just would have appreciated knowing prior since I came in for "that." Also, on me that I did not know "harissa" is a very spicy sauce however nice for wait staff to mention these things. Would return. The Reservations on One Table is a plus for us.

Tonight was my first and last night going there. I don't care to smell like a pound of weed when i leave an establishment. I'm also pretty sure i heard/saw gunshots fired outside the club and then right after smelled gun powder. Security tried to convince me i didn't see what i saw but Y'all don't ever have to worry about me again. SMH
