Bobcat Bonnie's Ferndale

Good people at this location. as always. Aseal, our bartender, was the best! Attentive, friendly, helpful, kind, funny. We felt lucky to have met her this evening. Bobcat Bonnie's always has vegan comfort food at the ready. Ordered vegan chili tots and vegan fish tacos. Both hit the spot. Beer list is solid. Plenty of local and non-local brews. Bat is well stocked for most mid-range drinks. Food is good. Service at this location (I can only speak for the bartenders) is great!

So..... you sell vegan food but put taxidermy on the wall behind the bar?! I'm a regular at this place and now I really don't want to come here ever again. Go tip April and the rest of the staff, because they're amazing. This choice of dead cat on a wall isn't it, though.

It is our first time here and it was okay. The spicy bowl was good. The tater tots were Luke warm to cold and overcooked. I ordered a draft beer and got a can of beer. A couple different staff members at our table because they didn't know who was waiting on us which would explain the long wait for the beer delivery. I didn't take a lot of photos.

Seems our experience was like most. Nothing to write home about. Now a days most places have food on the pricier end but charging four dollars for an iced tea without free refills seemed a little odd to me. Between food and service I would describe it as anticlimactic.

I'm only giving it two starts because the service was good. Iv been here many times but this time was horrible. they were out of everything. Iv gotten their chicken tenders many times they are usually big and filling, but when we went in today they where as big as a chicken wing. when they brought them to the table I was confused like we ordered wrong. all they had was chicken tenders and burgers barley anything else. They didn't bother to tell us that they where out of anything when we got there which is expected if your out of a long list of things. We also got nachos and to add chicken it's 7 bucks they come out with barley any chicken at all and most of the chips where very soggy. None of the food was hot either it was all just warm beside our fried pickles which where pretty good. We are just really disappointed and for the price we paid extremely disappointed. I understand being out of a lot of things but to be out of half your menu plus some should be made known on the door or when u walk inside. We won't be back for a while. Bobcat Bonnies is awesome and usually pretty reliable to get a seat when the city is busy because they have a hardworking staff and a lot of seating options. I'd also say it's the perfect spot to hit up before a concert or event because you can count on getting in and out pretty quickly. Their drink menu is big, so if you're looking to have a good time with your friends, this is the place to be. And to go with the drinks, don't forget about the appetizers! The elote queso is my personal fave, but they've got a bunch of other options too. Plus, they've got some killer specials and deals throughout the week.The staff at Bobcat Bonnies is always super friendly, and the place itself has fun murals and decor. It's got this warm and welcoming vibe that just makes you feel right at home.Although, I gotta admit, I've been getting a little bored with the menu lately. But that might just be me!

Visiting Ferndale for a curling tournament. Wanted a burger with a gluten free bun. My son and I got the Classic Burger his with gluten free bun. He said it was one of the best burgers, "top three ", he's had. Fries were hot, seasoned, and crispy. We tried the Billionaires Bacon. Nice and sweet. Lev, our server, welcoming and attentive. We'll be back on our next visit to Detroit Curling Club.

Great spot for dinner! So many vegan options to choose from- vegan fish and chips were delicious. Next time I will have to try the vegan fish tacos. Wonderful ambiance- as seen with purple lighting in photo. They were also playing Harry Potter on the tv soo big win

This was an incredible brunch! So good. The pancakes were amazing. Such a good price for the amount they give you. I ate some here then took them home for dinner and had the two kids share with me and I still have some left. I got the fruity pebble flavor, super adorable to look at but the taste was even better, tasted very fresh and housemade. I also tried the huevos rancheros. It was absolutely delicious! It also so had a huge portion with a lot of pulled pork, crispy tortillas, yummy cheese. Share that for dinner as well with the kids. I tried their mimosa and Bloody Mary bar drinks, so fun. A lot of good choices of juices and toppings. Not as cheap as a few years ago according to Yelp, but still a great value for today's market. I only got the single since I am not a double kind of person, I need more mixer. We also tried the breakfast burrito with chicken and the normal pancakes. Both good. I place is cute, fun space with great decor. I enjoy coming to Ferndale on a Sunday morning. We sat near the window for some good people watching and the light snow helped with the ambience. The servers seems nice but it was very strange. We started with a woman but then a man became our server without explanation. Not sure why, perhaps it was his section and she was helping but it was interesting. I also hear from my husband he made a comment about the amount of carbs we ordered? But he does not know us, we are the type of over order to try a lot then take home the leftovers. I like to do that especially since I eat the dishes for more than one meal, in this case, I still have more left for later. Still a great place, I will be back. I would love to have their brunch again and maybe even their lunch and dinner but for me breakfast is where it's at.

Went in on a Saturday afternoon. A male waiter came and took our drink order. He took probably 10-15 mins to bring a coffee and a coke. Didn't bring any cream and wasn't around to ask him for it. After he wrote our order down, we watched as he went behind the bar, put dishes away, talked with other people, etc. and do everything other than put our order in! After 10 minutes we walked out. It is dark and dingy in there. Won't be back.
