What can I say, it's our favorite breakfast place after all. Been here so many times and it never disappoints. Got their cheesy grits for the first time and loved it! Great texture. Not too boring . Also tried their breakfast taco for the first time. For $11 you get two packed to the brim tacos. Lots of ingredients. Great flavor. Would order again for sure. Service is great as usual. Friendly staff. Always a smile. Best breakfast place in town.

We finally got in here, after hearing good things & driving by too many times.Food was EXCELLENT--we both had the fried chicken Benedict. Very delicious & large serving (I took half home--I'd split it next time. Crispy fried chicken, rich flavorful gravy. The space is light and bright, fixed up very nicely. We felt the prices were very inexpensive. Busy at 11am on a Thursday, but we got a table easily. Our server was a delightful smiling, friendly young woman. Great service!

To start, this place is super cute. I love the vibe and they are very quick to get you in and out without feeling rushed. Our waitress was the sweetest and so kind. I came here to get some breakfast with my mom and she had gotten the biscuits and gravy which was a huge portion and she said delicious. But here is my reason for 3 out of 5 stars..I have a gluten allergy and I let the waitress know that. I ordered the breakfast tacos and she had come back to tell me they weren't gluten free, she wasn't sure why. I asked her what my best options were and she said she wasn't sure but she'd go ask the kitchen. She returned to say the kitchen told her "she can have eggs or meat. Nothing here is gluten free. She has the allergy she should know what to eat". I couldn't believe that was there response. Again the waitress was so so sweet so this is not a reflection on her but those who run the kitchen and this establishment. If you are running a restaurant, you should be educated on food allergies and doing your best to accommodate them. I completely understand saying that you can't guarantee anything given a shared cooking space but the way they responded to my gluten free request was wild. They just simply didn't care and were extremely rude. They didn't even try to provide a solution just wrote me off and made it my fault. I was really sad because I really liked the vibe of this place. So, if you have a gluten allergy.. do not come here. They will not provide recommendations or help you navigate on what you can eat. I'm assuming this will go for other allergies. It's 2025 and a lot of places have educated themselves on major allergies and know how to support someone.. unfortunately this place isn't one of them. If you have no allergies and can eat whatever without issues, I do recommend coming here because like I said my mom loved her food and the portions were great! I did enjoy my orange juice though.

14 tables in their dining area. Put your name in at the hostess and checkout counter. Nowhere to stand in this small and narrow entryway. The bathroom is oddly placed right by the front doors as well. Ordered a healthy choice omelet side of biscuit and grits, avocado scramble with added turkey bacon with a side of biscuit and an oatmeal deluxe. $45.58The biscuit is light and fluffy and crumbly, it's good with honey. The avocado scramble is quite good without cholula, even better with the cholula. Would like their peppers cut up some, fajita sized in this dish. The grits side is quite yummy, smooth for grits. The healthy choice omelet is tasty. The oatmeal is good. Added the side of fruit to the oatmeal, minus the grapes. Service isn't bad, took a bit to get our oatmeal and bill though.

If you're looking for a cozy, delicious breakfast spot, Biscuits and Gravy is a gem! The fluffy biscuits are melt-in-your-mouth perfect, and the Spanish skillet (I swapped out chorizo for turkey sausage) was packed with flavor--just the right mix of savory and satisfying. The baked cinnamon swirl French toast is a sweet indulgence you won't want to miss, with just the right amount of sweetness and spice. The charm of this place doesn't stop at the food. The outside of the restaurant has a fun chicken display that adds character, while the inside, though smaller, has such a homey, welcoming feel. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, making it the perfect spot to relax and enjoy a great meal. Highly recommend this place for anyone craving a fantastic breakfast!

Possibly really 3 stars- but it's a sunny Saturday-soo. Shared a b&g omelette topped with avocado & 1 biscuit & gravy. Omelette served with potatoes- everything tasted ok - was expecting great. Toast arrived nearly at very end. Parking lot is a disaster. Friendly service. Nowhere to stand while waiting for a table . $26 with tip

If you are in the Detroit area, this is a must try. We were visiting our son in Troy and he brought us here. It is an extremely small place. We came twice while visiting. First on a Saturday and the following week on Sunday. It was full, but we were seated pretty quickly. The service was friendly and top notched both times. All the food we tried was excellent. Over the two visits, we tried (pics attached):- the oatmeal deluxe (served in a skillet with blueberries, bananas, drizzle of honey and granola (on the side))- Greek salad (no meat)- 2 biscuits w/sausage gravy - "classic breakfast" includes ham, sausage, bacon, and three eggs (we got them scrambled w/light cheddar. Chose cheesy grits and biscuit as sides- pancakes (added blueberries for $1.50)- western omelette (ham, peppers, onions, cheddar cheese) w/breakfast potatoes. Again, if you're in the Detroit area, give this place a try. You won't be disappointed.

Stopped in here on a Sunday, and I'm so glad I didn't let the full parking lot discourage me from putting our name in. After just a quick ten minute wait, we had a table. We ordered the Spanish skillet, breakfast egg and cheese sandwich, and obviously biscuits and gravy. If you have read my reviews before, you know, I'm a sucker for chorizo so I had to try the skillet. It did not disappoint! The biscuits are huge and all of the portions are generous. I would love to come back and try their lunch menu.

Maybe I just got the wrong food, but I was very underwhelmed with this place in general. They were not very busy as it was a weekday and it was pretty late in the morning. The service was really not very attentive and a bit slow. The servers were mainly standing around talking to each other. I would have liked to be checked on at least once while I was eating rather than being brought the bill like she wanted us out of there. I had the breakfast quesadilla and I felt it was a little bit greasy, even though it was a good portion.
