Biondes's Super Sub and Pizza Shop

UPDATE!! As promised Mike made up for the prior issue and we received a good hot pizza today. Therefore I changed my review to what I normally would have rated them. Next time you're in the neighborhood stop by and give them a try. Hey I normally would have given a good review. However, today I ordered a pizza drove 15-20 minutes to get it and got there and they claimed it was already picked up. I think they gave it away because I ordered at 9:30 they said 45 mins so I waited an extra 15 before picking it up since every place behind due to Covid19. They never said they were closing early, so when I got there at 10:15 they claimed it was picked up and that they were closed. I said how the guy told me 45 mins so how could you be closed by 10 if my pizza took 45 mins. I think they didn't think I was coming so sold it to whomever walked in. I was beyond pissed! Let's e how they make this one up on my next visit as they claimed they do. We'll see what you do Mike

Nasty undercooked didnt return any food for me. Left me hungry and possibly ill my cheese wasnt even melted.

It's so sad they went from the best pizza and sub place in Detroit to the worst place to get a pizza and a subs let's talk about why the pizza sucks now the quality of the top is drop dramatically The preparation of the pizza is so sloppy. They don't even put pizza sauce all the way to the crust they don't even put the toppings all over the piece and they just piled up in the middle. Pizza is dry. It taste like a pizza you get from the frozen food department on God and theytheir subs used to be so good but now it's also trash order a jumbo steaks sub I got a jumbo lettuce sub with cheese and a little bit of steak I did have my jumbo sub tasted terrible my steak sub had, places where there was no steak in the sub just bread just sad the liquor store. has better pizza if they keep this up, they might be going out of business soon they went from the best to the worst terrible Management

Placed an order through Grubhub around 10:30pm when we settled into our hotel. First off, the order took an hour, and they're only a couple miles away. Secondly, they messed up our order, and my veggie sandwich was horrible (soggy warm veggies with italian dressing). My friend ordered an Italian sandwich, and that was dry as it was supposed to have extra italian dressing, not the veggie. Luckily GH gave me a refund for my sandwich.

Got a sub, Cod & fries and cinnamon bread.. first gave us the completely wrong sub, the cod and fish tasted like absolutely nothing; It was drenched in oil and the crust was sliding right off of the fish. The fries were not it whatsoever, I think they were steak fries. The cinnamon bread they completely forgot as well. They just lost a potential reoccurring customer. let alone when I got there to order somebody was already bringing their pizza in and returning it for whatever reason, that should've been a sign right there for me. They were talking really fast. I don't know what was going on, but a lot of work needs to be done here, especially when there's so many great restaurants in Detroit. they need to take a break, reevaluate and try again because what's happening right now it's not working. They corrected the sandwich and cinnamon bread at the least so I'll bump up to a 2 stars.

New owners pizza not the same quality as previous oemrts. I've been eating this pizza for 25 years! This is suppose to be all meat!Meat Lover

In continuing support of local business, I ordered from Bionde's. I hadn't had anything from them since pandemic began. We ordered from them frequently while in the office. I ordered two small pizzas for my son and I. They were delivered piping hot and the veggie toppings personally were flavorful and fresh. My son is a meat lover and had all meat toppings on his. Reminded me of how good they are. Next time I'll order subs.

New ownership is less than stellar. After going to this carryout for thirty years, today I received an overcooked pizza. Some people ask for well done but I never have. Strongly advise you to throughly check your order before leaving the premises. I called the store and the manager begrudgingly offered to remake my pizza. I was too tired to drive in the dark and cold back to the store, plus I didnt want any bad energy over my food.

I ordered pizza, salad and bread to feed a large group of people at work. Everything was great. Pizza was fresh. (I love the crust and sauce). Delivery drivers were professional and friendly and on-time. Everyone enjoyed it. I will definitely be using them in again. Sandi LThe Auto Club Group
