Belle River Winery

In downtown Port Huron not far from the start of the Mackinac race sits this wine bar in a renovated bank. Classy setting for some wine from a former Marine who makes a variety of wines, meads, and spirits. Visited the other location and just had to check this one out. Early on a random Saturday afternoon we popped in. Parking was easy. Opted to sit at the bar. Great and friendly service. Wine slushies also available- some food options- they also have a popcorn machine! Left with some bottles also. You have to check this spot out!

My first visit to Belle River Winery was great! Great atmosphere, service, wine and food! My husband and I each enjoyed a flight as well as a charcuterie board. The wine was very good. We each ordered a glass of our favorite, mine was the Malbec and my husband was the Merlot! I would highly recommend a visit to Belle River Winery! The service, wine and food were great! The ambiance is beautiful, love what they have done to the beautiful space!

The renovations to the space are beautiful! The wine is good for the area, but they have got to start chilling their white and fruity wines. No one wants a warm Riesling! The staff was very nice, but quite slow and not knowledgeable about the products at all. A couple of easy fixes and this will be a regular place to visit.

A wonderful new spot that serves wine and mead (produced with organic honey by the owners very own bees), bloody Mary's made with "pickle rum" made with cucumbers they've grown, and yummy charcuterie and pizza!First time and look forward to coming back:)
