Let me start by saying, THIS FOOD HAS NO REASON BEING THIS GOOD!!!Growing up our families owned Thai restaurants so I'm very particular about my Thai (Asian food in general). This tasted like home. I think the best feature for myself is that the curries are made with half and half and not coconut milk. I'm allergic to coconut so it was always hard having others Thai food. The pineapple curry was so yummy. It was full of flavor and very filling. The spring rolls were full of filling and not just wrap. The sweet chili fried rice was also a good sweet and spicy. Next time I'm going to try the pho because I seen it on someone else's table and it smelt so good. The setting of the restaurant is very quaint and nice. Not too big, but not small. A perfect spot to sit and have lunch if you want some. The prices are very reasonable for the area. I think they have some of the best prices if I'm being honest. Everything is quality and they are halal certified as well. The service, cannot forget that, was amazing too. The person at the counter really helps you with ordering if you're new to this type of food or confused of what to eat today! Please support this business, I promise you'll love it!

We were 3+1 kid for lunch after we finished Costco Shopping. (We aren't frequent Costco shoppers)I got Masammon Curry with Tofu - forgot to take a picture but loved the taste of it. We also got curry fried rice & pineapple curry ramen. We started with Veggie Spring Rolls! The service was fast here and taste was good!Place is well kept and clean. It's setup like a fast food place - typical size of a subway but nicer version!

Deciding on dinner is always difficult for me. Do I prepare a meal with the just-purchased ingredients in my fridge or do I pick up something near home? Oftentimes, I get out of work so late, I'm in no mood to do anything but stuff my face. That's where Basil Bowl comes in. It's new to the neighborhood, taking over a Sy Thai to-go location. Sad. However, it is a fine replacement. This place offers ramen, pho, and Thai so I knew I would find something I would love. At first, I considered the Pad Thai, my go-to at Thai places. However, as soon as I spotted the Pineapple Curry Ramen, decision made. And to top that off, I selected the roasted duck, my favorite protein. That is not to say that I wasn't tempted by the beef and pork pho, pad se ew, or any of the curries. Next time, I promised myself. While waiting for my meal, I noted the light coming into the building from two walls of windows, the bright, lime green walls and fluorescent orange chairs, and the wood furnishings and accents. The restaurant is not large, but there were more than enough seats for the dine-in customers. About half of the people coming in placed to-go orders. To start, I had the crab rangoon and the spring rolls. The former was mostly cream cheese and not the perfect balance of crab and cheese I usually prefer. It should have been called cheese rangoons. However, the spring rolls were satisfyingly crispy with a flavorful filling. I have my eye on the gyoza or the bang bang shrimp the next time I'm here.Moving on, the ramen included pineapple chunks, of course, but also red and green bell peppers, chili peppers, tomatoes, and onions. The noodles were tender, chewy, and delicious in a spicy and creamy broth. The roasted duck was lovely. I would have loved more of it. The portions are nicely sized so I had more than enough to take home for another meal.Although this is a casual dining restaurant (think Panera), the staff was helpful and kind.

First time trying this place. Nice clean decor. Extensive menu with lots of vegetarian options. Lunch special also available. Prices are not cheap per say but portions are big. The guy at the counter was also a cook. A bit grumpy may be having a bad day Ordered Pad Thai with chicken medium spice was not too hot but enough heat. Also a Bang Bang shrimp as an appetizer. Good amount of shrimp it was lightly battered and crispy. Solid food for a quick bite or a carry out.

This is my second time at Basil Bowl, thought I would try something different. When you walk in it is very bright because of the floor to ceiling windows with a very nicely painted white feature wall. You order at a fast food style counter with a menu above, which is pretty common now. Since it was raining out a spicy Ramen sounded great, so I ordered the Tom Kha Ramen with chicken and a side order of spring rolls. The woman behind the counter gave me a cup and told me to pick a table.Just a couple minutes after sitting down my spring rolls arrived piping hot with a traditional sweet Thai dipping sauce. They were pretty average spring rolls, not the best I have had, but not bad by any means.About a minute or two later my Tom Kha ramen bowl shows up looking very inviting. At first glance I was excited because the broth has the traditional red hot and sour looking broth. I dove right in and to my disappointment not hot (spicy) or sour, with the exception of the lime I squeezed in. The noodles were chewy, but clumped at the bottom and seemed packaged. The chicken was pretty good, but it is hard to screw up sliced chicken in soup. I did not finish my bowl, which is highly unlike me. Overall, I will say the place has good aesthetics. I had a curry dish last time that was good, but would not get the ramen again. Service was fine, but I left pretty bummed about the ramen. Thai food and ramen are two of my favorites and I had higher hopes. For $22 I hoped for a little bit better.I may give them a try in the future, but definitely not going out of my way to stop back.

I wanted to like this restaurant but it was just so-so. This is a fast casual place where you order at the counter and they bring your food out to the table. My friends were only meh about what they ordered, Basil fried rice (bland) but very large portion! She took most of it home (to add a bunch more spices etc). The Pad Thai with chicken was also pretty bland. I ordered the Tom Yum Ramen, it was kind of sweet and not as flavorful as I expected. The chicken was super dry but the noodles were okay. One unique thing is that the restaurant sells Thai(?) snacks (i saw a bag of chips?) and maybe drinks that I haven't seen other places. The restaurant was pretty clean and busy so I'm glad others might enjoy it but this is a pass for me.

Asian Fusion (Thai, Ramen, Phó). The inside was very clean and nice but basic quick eat-and-go setup. You order at register. Ordered 2 dishes that came out to ~$28. Pad Thai Lunch and Tom Kha Ramen both w/chicken. The price was definitely inflated a bit for a strip mall noodle joint and the overall portion size. The service was nice, the place was clean, and the food taste good (not amazing) and that's where I landed with 3 stars. Was this helpful?

I came into this basil bowl location today 11-25-34 around 3:00pm and was greeted by the cashier described as a short light colored female wearing a black shirt and several necklaces. I sensed impatient from her when trying to pay with Apple Pay. I ordered pho w/ chk and I ordered water, I sat down at your window high top table and when the food arrived I noticed all the veggies was already put inside which is unsanitary due to hands touching it, along with the lime put inside my bowl for me and jalapeño peppers, so to mention I don't like lime. The cashier went and sat down behind the counter on her phone. Meanwhile she never gave me the water I ordered nor any return visits to the table to follow up on my need. I've told family and friends shortly after this experience that this place service from this female is horrific and unprofessional and I won't be returning. (Owner look into this female work performance it's unacceptable) who all has she did this too while spending their money there)
