Service: Not busy there but our server was friendly and easy to talk to! Android our little drawings on the menu and that's one of the fun things about the Basement Burger Bars. Got us our food very soon after ordering. After my friend ordered a falafel which she had no idea what it was except that it has smashed chickpeas, she didn't like it and they replaced it at no charge with a wagyu Kobe burger! Really nice.Atmosphere: Very different from the original Basement Burger Bar in Farmington. Still nice and woody and updated looking. Food: You can't beat the burgers here. Their own special mix is great and the Kobe makes it so much even better! Delicious and juicy and on a salad it was superb. Being able to choose your own toppings with many of them included, and plenty of options to add for a nominal charge of only $0.75 each, a $10 salad is an amazing value.

I love Basement Burger Bar for their burgers, of course, but they also have really good salads. The salads follow the same format as the burgers, with a choose-your-own, wipe-off menu that allows you to customize everything. Basically I got lots of veggies with the additions of avocado, blue cheese, and grilled chicken. The thing was huge, was very filling. The grilled chicken was flavorful, and I liked their version of blue cheese. I would order this exact same combination again.The only drawback of the visit was an inattentive server.

This restaurant has a very casual atmosphere.It's a great place to meet friends or take the family.The sound level is high but not crazy. The service is good.The food is solid for bar food.The burger is the star of the show.I recommend this place.

Second review. The burger was excellent and cooked as requested-medium rare. The toppings I chose were fresh and the right amount. The only negative was the server who disappeared for 15 minutes and after returning, it took another 15 minutes to refresh our drinks.

Really enjoyed this place! The parking was kind of tight but once inside the restaurant we were quickly greeted and seated. Once the waitress explained the menu we checked the boxes on the menu for what we wanted. I thought this portion of ordering was fun and cute and the kids really liked it too. The portions are big and the food was delicious. I really enjoyed the sweet potatoes and the cinnamon butter sauce was a pleasant suprise. The price was decent. We would definitely return.

The good thing about this place is definitely the taste of the burger, and they have a small but OK craft beer menu. I had the tropical burger with beef and no bacon, and I found it to be pretty good although a little messy. That just happens with a burger with pineapple, though. However, I thought the price was a little high for such a smallish burger and no fries.And as mentioned, the beer selection was OK. Nothing super but it's nice to have decent beers as an option.My biggest problem with this place though was the seating. Very cramped and awkward. You have to practically move into your neighbor's lap before you can slide into your own seat at some of the tables. That alone means I'm unlikely ever to return, which is a bummer as I did enjoy the burger.

I first visited Basement Burger in Canton when they opened 10 years ago, and never went back and to be honest, not much has changed. I recently decided to give them another shot because they were the only place delivering a smash burger in the area. While the menu offers good value, the burgers were still dry and lacked flavor, and the fries were mediocre at best. If you're in the area, I'd recommend Five Guys over this place every time.

Came here one night with my mom when I was feeling too lazy to cook. They'd just recently released their spring cocktails. Mom and got the lemon meringue pie martini, and I got the cucumber something. Both were delicious. We each got a burger - she got one from the menu, I did a build your own. We were both really happy with the quality and taste of the burgers. Nothing but good things to say on the food. We sat at the bar and our bartender was super attentive for most of the night. It took a bit to get refills towards the end of the night - I'm assuming pulled away for other duties. We lucked into it being trivia night as well, and that was a nice surprise. Fun trivia crowd. We will definitely be back for more trivia.

We sat at the bar and had lunch and drinks. We were from out of town, but the bartender was super friendly! The bar area had a cozy vibe. We both ordered the smashed burger built to our liking--delicious and perfectly cooked! We would definitely go back if we return to Detroit.
