Bangkok Chinatown Cuisine

Craving something new to try for lunch, my husband and I decided to check out this new addition. Located in the former home of Lai Lai, Bangkok Chinatown Cuisine offers delicious Thai food in an elegant and relaxed setting. We arrived shortly before noon on a recent weekday and were promptly greeted by the friendly and courteous new owner. She showed us to our table and made some recommendations for food. I love a good Pad Thai, but decided to switch it up with the curry version. I got the mild, and it still had some kick, and the flavors overall were amazing. My husband got the green curry and thought the mild was likewise spicy, but delicious. Portions were generous enough that I was able to take the remainder to work for lunch the next day and look forward to another delicious meal.

I was in town for work and found this restaurant while searching for a place to eat. The food was delicious and seasoned just right for my tastebuds. The portion size was very fair (we all left with to-go boxes) for the price. They also included rice soup and a spring roll with our meal and they were both tasteful. For a place that was just established in 2024, I would recommend trying them out. I had a great experience and look forward to eating here again when I am back in town.

This restaurant has the Best Thai and other Asian fusion in Ann Arbor/Ypsilanti. I tried some new things on my fourth visit here. I've had all the lunch specials and love all of them. Now I am working my way through all of the other delicious food on their menu. So much better than the old Chinese restaurant that was at this location. I tried to kickboxing chicken last night and it was great! So was the wonton soup! Head over to Ellsworth and Carpenter and check this place out. You won't be sorry.

Friendly service in a refreshed atmosphere. Green Curry was excellent For those who wonder: What happened to Lai Lai? , Bangcock Chinatown Cuisine! is a great answer.

Food was phenomenal, very fresh and tasty. We we there on a snowy Saturday evening, and it was wonderful seeing the place bring in party after party. Great to see a new restaurant doing well!

Delicious. Got Pad See Eew. Enjoyed it quite a bit. Clean. Courteous. Glad I found it. Will come again if I'm in the area again.

Both times I ordered online they got it wrong and I had to call and ask the refund the cost of the meal. One of the meals, I asked for no spice and they made it extra spicy. I actually burned my mouth with the first bite. They were gracious and apologized. The food is nothing to write home about and the menu is heavy on curry and otherwise quite restricted. Generous portions tho.

The food was delicious, we ordered crab Rangoon, red curry mild, and wonton soup! The atmosphere is bright, clean, and inviting. The owners husband came to greet us after our meal, and was very welcoming.Thank you Bangkok Chinatown Cuisine :)

We've been there on our own and with friends and love what we've had: the Hai Yai fried chicken, Deluxe Tom Yum soup, wonton noodle soup with a generous portion of wontons and roast pork, Green curry and even catered a Vegetarian Red curry and my favorite tuptim dessert! We have 2 favourite Thai restaurants and love that both of them have their specialties to savor.
