Baldwin Cafe

This is a very reasonably priced local cafe that prepares quality home style meals. Whether it's breakfast, lunch or dinner, you'll find the owner-proprietor working in the open kitchen grill preparing food that was ordered.Although I've only been here for breakfast, I have to believe the lunch and dinner entrees are equally as good as the breakfast items they serve. The waitresses are very pleasant which makes this local cafe a comfortable place to enjoy a home style meal.

Fantastic first visit to Baldwin Cafe today! Food arrived hot and fresh to the table within 10 minutes of our ordering, and everyone loved what they had. I had an order of pancakes and bacon; pancakes order is 3 large pancakes (butter optional), and WORTH ALL THE CARBS! SO GOOD!! Bacon was cooked perfectly per my request (this weirdo loves chewy bacon). My husband really enjoyed the Italian sausage omelette, and we both appreciated that the omelette was cooked low and slow so it was still yellow on the outside, and cooked through, not over cooked or brown. Our friend had the French toast and was also really happy with her choice. Table consensus was we'd all come back!

The service here is really welcoming and fast paced. The waitresses are very kind and do their best. The wait time for food can be a little long since the kitchen is small and there's only one cook but it's good food. We stopped by here Saturday morning for brunch and we were a little sad that the prices went up significantly but that's how all restaurants are at the moment. The cook was very friendly, he came over and made sure everything he made was to our liking. They all seem very hard working and it's a good place to support a small business. We'll be back for sure!

This is the restaurant you definitely want to stop in for an omelette with everything, pancakes stacked,( my personal favorite,) crispy bacon & hash browns, a juicy burger, chicken sandwich or good grilled cheese with a fresh side salad. The Daily Special's are awesome and the soup choices are a must for eat-in and carry-out! Absolutely, have a coney or three with the very addictive french fries.You will be treated to excellent friendly service at this super clean long standing community favorite. Do yourself a favor, become a regular here.

Food was a good price, and very unique as well as delicious. Great local place, the service was quick and the owners seemed local and present with the restaurant. I would definitely come back to this place

Local hole in the wall. Food was decent and the service was good. I would go there again. They had some specials as well.

Here in Orin Michigan at Baldwin Cafe. Not much to say but "Awesome!". Had Homemade Soup of German Tomato, Swiss & Mushroom Burger. Sampled the Coney Chili and now it's time for a nap. Super service by Angela and Rob and personal meet up with Chef Adrian. Here team here is top notch. Great back ground music and sitting at the bar had first hand views of it all. You locals and visitors must come enjoy it. I'll be back..Oh yes a bowl of their soup is going with me. Thanks Baldwin Cafe!!!!

Horrible food quality, barley cooked and saturated in butter and oil, I do not recommend this place for anyone

Best neighborhood dinner around. It's lthe "Cheers" of breakfast joints. Friendly owner, friendly staff. Many of the waitresses have been there for 20+ years. The owners are wonderful people who are active in the community. The food is always great and I love some of the new items on the menu. Great food, great service, and great people!
