I was anxious to try bad granny's bbq. It used to be a dickeys and that was awful. I am happy to say I loved it. I got several things for the family. Pulled pork was really good. Brisket was great. Ribs were great. But my favorite was the smoked polish sausage. Absolutely incredible. Mac and cheese was ok but the mashed potatoes were fantastic. The owner was a bit intense lol but nice. Staff seemed a bit confused but everything came out right and was great. I hope they do well. I'll definitely be back.

The food was a pure disgrace ,prices. Outrageous sauce is watery. That spud was overcooked probably old. Way to much salt on the outside The brisket was fatty and the flavor was terrible..The Pros: the Staff is very Nice and the place was very clean. The place was a 10/10 when it held the Dicky's name.

The food is fantastic. Everything is amazing, fresh and delicious. We ordered brisket, chicken, beans, mac and cheese, potato salad, sweet, spicy and original sauce for a staff meeting. Everyone loved the food, raved about it and are all excited to order again- real soon. Thanks for the follow-up call as well.

Friendly staff. The food was awful, overpriced and missing items. Mac&Cheese was mush, and other sides lacked flavor. Brisket was over cooked and sauced. Chicken wings were the shining star. However, If I would have used the bathroom before the meal instead of after, I would not have ordered anything. Good indication of how clean they keep the rest of the place.

2024/09/07 I am thinking their rating is high due to workers/owners/their friends bc as I now read other reviews, they're basically the same as mine. Received two "loaded" potatoes to go and once home saw they were basically stuffed with sour cream with a thin layer of cheese, and a few chives. No bacon. For the price, I thought this would be a main entree with tons of cheese and bacon. They were basically a side item up charged to a main entree. Definitely not how describes on menu. Only good thing was the cashier was friendly.

The people were nice and the service was good. Sadly, the food was neither. I had 1/4 lb of pulled pork, 1/4 lb of brisket, and 3 ribs. All of it was rather blah, bland flavor, unspiced, and not even a hint of smoke. The barbeque sauces added nothing, they weren't as good as bottled Stubbs or KC masterpiece. The sides were green beans and corn. The corn had a bit of some sort of pepper in it but it didn't add any zing. The green beans were big, flat Italian green beans, which was strange for a barbeque place. They had some small bits of a meat like substance and overall, were tasting pretty washed out.And all this and a drink for only $28.Yelp said I should mention the ambiance. It was functional.I'm guessing the people who liked this place haven't been to Slow's or the Union Woodshop.

I just had my food delivered. What was supposed to feed 6 people fit in 2 small paper bags. It was 2 meats and 3 sides. There were no biscuits as the description said and there is zero sauce on the meats. I am disgusted. I paid over $100 for this. They aren't even trying to make this palatable.

Prices are absolutely outrageous. For smiles and grins I compared similar options to another local (but full service) bbq joint. These prices are ridiculous, in some cases more than twice as expensive as the full service dine-in spot. It will not last like this. Is that what happened to Dickys? Shame.
