First visit to Aurora's family restaurant. This family owned restaurant has good food, good service and very reasonable prices. The breakfast specials included the eggs Benedict done right with fresh sauce and smokey ham. Italian omelette was hearty and tasted great. Fresh coffee, Tasty pancakes and home fries topped off a nice home cooked breakfast 21$. Booths and tables. I will return

We came here for lunch the other day and this experience unfortunately left a lot to be desired. The waitress was crazy rude. Blonde hair with glasses. The guy at the table next to us actually walked out because it was so bad. The food wasn't great and way overpriced. The chicken noodle soup had a weird flavor. I almost want to say like banana pepper taste or something? I also got a burger. $4 extra to add bacon lol. It's really small inside. I won't be back.

The blonde waitress was awful. She made sure she let all the customers know she was not happy that they were there. We always liked going here but we will never go back, we always liked the food.

I met a friend here for breakfast. We both ordered eggs over medium, sliced potatoes and rye toast. The eggs were more like sunny side up, which I don't really care for. I prefer them to be cooked a little bit more so they're not slimy. The sliced potatoes weren't completely done, which affected the taste as far as lacking flavor due to them still being slightly raw and only slightly browned. The rye toast was different.... thicker and softer than what I'm used to and barely toasted. The service was friendly and the little place had gotten full which meant the server was running around trying to keep up. She did a great job, but there wasn't much time for her to take a breather. It's a simple, casual and no frills type of diner. It's a little dated but if you enjoy this type of place, then you'll like eating here. There are many excellent restaurants in our area so I think I'll stick to those instead. This place didn't impress me and the food was more on the bland side and not really cooked enough. One and done for me... at least for breakfast. I may go back once more to try a lunch. We shall see, but I'm in no big hurry to return.

My husband and I joined some friends for breakfast/lunch. This was our first time coming here and our friends said it was an amazinf restaurant. They called ahead and got seating because seating is limited. Most of the group decided to order lunch. My husband and I ordered breakfast. I ordered french toast and my husband ordered a supreme skillet. The food was amazing. My french toast was made perfectly and they brought me a container of hot syrup and a bunch of butter. My husband loved his skillet and he said everything tasted really good together. Everyone's food looked amazing as well. Two people ordered a salad and it was huge. I was really surprised considering the price was so cheap. The service is great at this restaurant. You do have to prepare to wait on a busy day like a Sunday. They do close at 3pm Sunday. We actually met the owner and she came over to hug a few regulars and introduced herself. This is a great family restaurant to go to. We will definitely be back.

We went here in a whim - hubby was craving a hot turkey sandwich with mashed potatoes. They were out of mashed so he choose the baked potato and had no regrets!! He said it was the best he has had - the gravy was perfect!! I got the Mostacolli with meat sauce - HUGE portion for $10!! Corn crab bisque was very good and different. We also got the zucchini fries - perfect!! I didnt care for their homemade ranch - but that will deter me!! Already have several items on the menu we cannot wait to try. Breakfast menu as well. This will be our new stomping ground's foe sure!! Service by Jenny was excellent! Portions were excellent! Restaurant was clean! All customers were familiar with the staff and treated like family. Simple food - simple prices - we will be back often.

Went to AFR to try something different in the area for a family diner.Atmosphere - pleasant. Nice place to relax.Food - average to good. They are a family diner so you know what you are getting. Food quality was good and I enjoyed the food.Service = F. Took 10-15 minutes for waitress to get our order in. They were a bit busy, likely understaffed, so this is kind of understandable. What is not understandable is when the waitress comes to take the order and says "go ahead..." My wife then asked for the smothered chicken. The waitress proceeded to notify us that it takes a while to prepare, so if you are impatient (paraphrase) like this guy is at the other table, you might want to order something different. I also ordered a bowl of soup that never came. I asked when dinner was being served about the soup, to which the waitress answered "don't worry - I did not charge you for it:... As we were eating, we then got to hear about the waitress complaining about the table to the side of us, which she was "done with". Lastly, we had the pleasure to hear her complain to the other staff member about her coworker who was not there.Maybe Gen Z-er waitress was having a bad day? Maybe she is always like that? What I can say is that I won't return for a while, if ever, with the broad choices of family diners in the area. If I was the owner, and I took time to read reviews, I would take the time to sit the staff down (or said worker) and share that this behavior, while serving people (or any public-facing work), is unacceptable, and can kill a business. Will they miss me and my family regarding business? Probably not. If this happens consistently, it could cut into their profits.Price - reasonable...Poor service can ruin a good meal. It did.

They have serious prejudice behavior. I walked in and it took 10 minutes to acknowledge me. Nobody even said " give me a minute" all I had was a grubhub order to carry out and it took 25 minutes for them to hand it to me. One of the waitresses told me to move over from when I was sitting down because the menu needed to be where I was sitting. It's 2024 you stay in a diverse world .. please stop the prejudice when it comes to be difference of religion & race . Don't ever want to walk in this restaurant again.
