Good size portions. Hash browns are not shredded. They're sliced and grilled... Very good. I had the veggie egg white omelet.

Let me start off by saying that the coney sauce was actually good. Information/details supporting my review:Coney sauce: 4.3Facility: 4.5. Clean but the men's bathroom had issues. The rest of the place was nice & cleanHotdog (meat): 2 They have a good dog but it wasn't cooked to my liking. I think it was boiled and didn't spend much time (if any) on the grill. Onions: 0 (yep zero). They were obviously cut days prior. Probably the oldest onions I've ever been served on a coney. Service: 3.8. The lady that eventually waited on me was nice. Other waitress wasn't as nice. Everyone has a bad day and I wouldn't have this part of the review prevent me from going back. If in the area I will stop by to see if I hit this place on an off day. The only real detractor was first the onions (my biggest disappointment) and second the way the hotdog was cooked. They got the right stuff but need to polish the execution.

Prices are very fair. Menu selection pretty good. Facility is clean. I've been here on several occasions and each time the service has left a lot to be desired in that the waitresses are all rather sarcastic. This last time I ordered a strawberry waffle that arrived with no whip cream on top. No biggie. I asked if they could provide whip cream and the waitress replied snarkedly "You should have told me you wanted whip cream" WTH! I ordered bacon well done and no lie, it was served like it was nuked in the microwave to the point where it was almost DUST! I lifted the piece of bacon and it was so dry it literally fell apart when being picked up! Scary waitress made me not say a thing about the shi%%y bacon I never ate. Previously 8 older women ate here and at the end when the waitressed served them one bill they inquired if they could please all receive separate bills and the waitress literally ripped the one bill into 8 pieces!!! Spare me; there are WAY better places to eat without getting a side a smart-ass with your meal.

THE worst service I have ever had in my life! I've been here a couple times before and had decent service and good food...today however the service was terrible. The waitress we had wasn't friendly from the get go..she didn't seem like she wanted to be there, she was short and quick with us, almost seemed annoyed because I wasn't ready to order as soon as I sat down. My sister and her son arrived first then my husband and I...when I got there my sister had soup in front of her and I asked the server what kind they had...I asked if the split pea had meat and she responded with an attitude telling me "there's ham". I asked my sister if she had the attitude when they showed up and she said "yes, we sat down she put two menus on the table and walked away before I could tell her we were expecting two more". We ordered our food. I ordered fish and chips, I wanted mashed potatoes instead, when I got my food she handed me my plate, after I had the plate in my hand that's when she told me it was hot. It was EXTREMELY hot...my fingers still hurt. She never came back to the table...I asked for a manager. The manager was friendly and understanding, she offered to finish serving us, I told her I don't want a different server, I just wanted to bring it to her attention. Here's what proceeded to happen nextThe original server NEVER came back to the table, she didn't bother to apologize or let us know why she had the attitude. We finished our meal. As I was cashing out (a different server cashed us out) I gave the girl $6 and said "I'm not going to be a bitch and not tip, she never came back to the table to apologize and that's not how you treat customers" then I spoke to the manager again and told her that the server should have came back to the table and apologized for her attitude. The server then told me that I "wanted to start a problem" that's why I'm doing all this. That ticked me off, I go out to eat a lot, A LOT, I never have problems, not like this! At this point I was beyond irritated with the way she was acting and responding back to me I asked for my $6 back, the server that cashed us out called me "petty" and threw the money back at me...I asked for the person who owned the place, he comes out of the kitchen doesn't even look me in the eyes as I'm complaining, finally my sister said "they obviously don't care, let's go"I honestly hope no one goes into this establishment and gets treated like this again. Totally and completely uncalled for behavior on everyone's behalf except for the female manager that I gave my original complaint to. The server with the attitude and the one that cashed us out need to learn about customer service, how to speak to and treat people who spend their hard earned money in this place. I've been a server for 20 years and anytime I've ever had a table complain about me I walk over right away and apologize for my behavior whether I feel it's justified or not. I know they don't care if I say "I'm never going back" I have maybe written 3 reviews in my entire life, this I had to say somethingThe way I was treated and handled was beyond rude and disrespectful, I never got loud or swore, I spoke calmly and respectfully I would say "enter at your own risk"

Had lunch at Atlantic Coney Island on 5/22/24 while in the area for a meeting at Stellantis. The gyro was excellent, the service was top notch and the restaurant was exceptionally clean. The place isn't fancy (it's a Coney Island) but it was a good experience and I'd definitely go back if in the area. Both the waitstaff and cooks were very friendly (I sat at the bar).
