Armada Bar & Grille

We came here right before going to the Armada fair, and we were afraid that service would be slow because of the crowds in town but we actually got seated immediately, and the waitress came over for our beverage order immediately. Once the waitress dropped off the drinks, we actually had to wait quite a while to get her back for our order, and we had to ask another waitress to please get her to come over. That probably would be my only complaint about this place. I ordered the grilled cod dinner, which came with a choice of soup, salad, or coleslaw and choice of vegetable or potato. I ordered the small salad with a balsamic vinaigrette and a baked potato which was enormous. I ended up bringing half of my order home.My friend ordered the perch dinner and it also came with the choice of potato and choice of soup salad or coleslaw. He's a real coleslaw lover and got the coleslaw which he said was very good and his order was also huge and he ended up bringing half of his home. So overall, the menu had very good choices, we got seated immediately, and the food came out very quickly, which I was impressed with.

Great food and good service. New ownership and a name at this location. Night and day from what it was in the last. The food menu had a lot of variety and we enjoyed the meal. We will be back. ** Good iced tea

Place is packed, servers are ragged. The bar man had to take our order. All the tables were dirty so we picked the one with less dishes. Large group behind us got their order taken before us even though we were here for fifteen minutes. Arg. I hope the food is good.

Went to ABG this week, got their perch/pike (Zander) dinner and it was the biggest greasy mess I ever ate (only ate part). It was the third time in the last 2 or 3 weeks that I had dinner there and it was horrible. I live in Armada but I will never go there again. Although Papa's is more expensive, its food is much better and worth the difference.

How is this place not rated higher? Went in on a busy Wednesday night, got seated right away. Our server was polite, prompt, and helpful. I had a perfectly cooked ribeye, never once thought I needed steak sauce. While not heavily seasoned the meat was clearly high quality and cooked to perfection. Honestly the best baked potatoe I have ever had. Soft, flavorful. Just delicious. The French onion soup was incredible as well. The table bread is amazing, used it to mop up everything on the plate. The only good downside was the fried ravioli was a little dry, but the marinara it is served with more than made up for it. To top it all off, the service and speed was incredible. I couldn't believe how fast our food all came out. I was also happy to see the owner bussing tables after checking in on us, shows me how much he truly loves and cares about this place. An unexpected dinner stop became an amazing experience that I will definitely make the trip to visit many many more times.

It was really good. The food was tasty and our lunch with friends was great. Service was ok. Could use a little improvement. Definitely will be back.

Some of the best bar food I have ever had I got the patty melt and the pretzels. The service was quick and pleasant. The inside is very nice and clean! Also, very reasonably priced 10/10 would recommend !!

Had carry out pizza there last night for the first time It said it's a Woodburn oven experience pizza try like conventional oven pizza it was very salty.and gfs cheese Not good at all sorry!!

Food has no flavor. Have tried to get take out 3 times and always the same no matter what you order. Had an order of Chicken Quesadillas to go no salsa , no sour cream, no silverware, no napkins. Wouldn't think you would have to ask for the condiments. Chicken sandwich was so dry and no flavor could tell it had been microwaved. After 3 attempts there will be no more. Owners sit at the bar or table and never speak . Two times of going the poor waitress was so busy and the owners just sat there its a real shame for a small place to get bad reviews but since there isn't much competition I guess they can act and serve food as they please. It's a real shame.

Passing through Armada last week an grabbed dinner here. I recommend this joint and their perch dinner.
