service isn't bad but best asian food in anna or so far and i've been looking hard. i want to give it a 5 but that's just because it's the only good asian food i've had so far. i don't want to hype it up to much either. grilled galbi and galbi tang were good. coming back for some kimchi friend rice before the week is over. if it's good maybe they will get an upgrade. FYI i'm from sf bay take make what u will of that bit of info.

Enjoyed the Kalbi here. Good portions and the service was prompt. Good menu prices with many options.

I tried the japchae and combi with kalbi and bulgogi. The japchae was perfectly cooked. The bulgogi was good but those hot plates can dry it out quick. The kalbi was very tough and hard to eat, definitely the toughest of all the places I have been in the area so far. Macheko has the best kalbi, tender and off the bone. I liked the pickled radish. Friendly service. It was really cold inside, so maybe winter is not the best time to visit this small place.

Great authentic Korean food and staff was very nice. Loved their homemade banchan, kimchi was amazing and fresh. Their menu has all the traditional Korean soups, bibimbop, meats and stir fry options. We started with the seafood pancake appetizer which was a little thick for my taste and didn't have as much seafood as I've had at other places. Their galbi tang was amazing! Broth was very rich and you can tell it was cooked over time. Loaded with radish, short rib and sweet potato noodles. Comes in a big portion. The spicy squid was cooked tender and juicy. Not super spicy which was perfect for me.

We came here today after moving to Ann Arbor yesterday and needed to have our traditional Korean "moving day meal" to commemorate the occasion! Thankfully Arirang is just down the street from us and we're sure to come back to try more, but here's what we thought on our first visit: Jjajangmyeon: 7.9/10 points! Their Korean Chinese black bean noodles were pretty tasty! My husband is super picky about these noodles and thought these were pretty dang good compared to other places he's tried in the US. Unfortunately I docked them a bit because they don't serve theirs with thinly sliced cucumber which is a bummer as its an essential topping to the dish. But at least they gave me the yellow pickled radish when I asked for it! Tangsuyuk: 5/10 points. I thought these were just okay, the oil tastes like it might need to be changed out and they got soggy really quickly since the sauce is poured right over top and they weren't as crisp and flavorful as I hoped. Side dishes: 8/10 I wish there was more variety but their kimchi, pickled radish and stewed potatoes were all pretty solid, with the potatoes lagging a bit behind in flavor compared to the first two.Service: it took quite a while to receive our food from the kitchen, but it seems like they are very short staffed as there was only one person taking orders for the whole restaurant too. We'll be back! Planning on updating my review often!

It was hot and I was craving mul naengmyun (cold buckwheat noodle soup) so I got carry out here. It was delicious! They did a nice job packaging the soup ingredients, the broth, and condiments separately. When I got it home and combined everything I didn't feel that I had lost any quality or taste by not eating in their dining room. As with every place currently, they are understaffed so bring your patience. They also have online ordering for carry out.

ZERO star if I could. Remodeled the kitchen and have a new menu and it is NOT the same. Are there new owners???This has been one of our favorite restaurants in Ann Arbor for the last 15 years and this will be the last time we go there. Food went from five star to absolutely abysmal. Please stay as far away as possible. I felt sorry for our server who has worked there previously. She knew we were going to be very disappointed when we sat down. If you have been here before, just stay away. The food is now horrible.

I had delivery of the food I ordered. It was half kalbi and half bulgogi, it came with white rice and I ordered side of kimchi. The food was kept hot and portions were good. The reason I gave 4 stars was the meat was nervier than I expected. The kalbi was cut thicker than I expected and I would have liked kimchi with more hot spice. I don't know what the restaurant looks like but I will definitely try it again.
