Aretha Jazz Cafe

Latin night was awesome. It was a nice reminder why I love Detroit. I've been away from home for many years and this one visit had all settled in like I never left. The vibe was strong and welcoming. I miss Detroit. Club is small inside the music hall. I didn't try the food or order any drinks. I came just for the show and it did not disappoint. Parking was easy.

I love Aretha's Jazz Cafe. It's an intimate space within the Music Hall. They host on Tuesdays Singers in the Round. I'm a Singers in the Round fan. Started by local artists Matt Kysia and Yorg to uplift local Detroit artists. I've never been disappointed. We have great local talent. And bonus: their fries are yum.

My husband took me here for Valentine Day for the Poetry and Jazz which I enjoyed the entertainment BUT the FOOD was Awful my hUsband and cousin ordered the Pork Chops after waiting almost 30 mins the server came back to our table and tell us there was no Pork Chops so they ordered the herb roasted d chicken which was burnt I ordered the burger and fries which came out very cold...the food was very pricey and Horrible!!!!!

Great food and the service was impeccable. My band played and they were so kind. The stage was a little small but nonetheless it was a great experience and I would come back again!!

Food was on point and Jazz band excellent. Room was a little tight with so many people. Service was excellent.

I had my 50th birthday party here a few days ago. The manager, Ted Nagy and his staff were OUTSTANDING the whole time! From booking, to set up, to food, to bartending, they were very accommodating and made my day even more special. The food never ran out and the drinks were delicious! I have no complaints and I'm certain I will use this venue again in the future!
