My wife and I shared the Spicy Avocado Bombs and the Shishito Pepper appetizers. For entrees, I had the Braised Short Rib and she had the Tofu Fino. It was all superb. Our server was very knowledgeable and helpful with special requests. My only nit to pick would be the price of our cocktails. About twenty dollars each for Makers Mark Manhattans seems a bit much. Next time we'll just stick with wine I guess. A note for those with hearing issues; the ambient noise was definitely loud.

Fantastic food. Took my son here after a long day working at grandmas house. Many interesting and unique dishes on the menu but within the comfort zone of a 12 yo boy. He really loved it. It's an upscale place so nice place to impress your date or celebrate a special event but also worked well for a hard earned reward for a job well done.

The appetizers were all amazing will definitely come back for some apps and a drink at the bar. The service was definitely lacking, very slow, didn't come back to check on our food, and had to stop her to grab more water and drinks. The vibe was great as far as decorations go and how it is laid out we were in chairs at a table but there were lounge style chairs that I was honestly jealous of , we had five people and they were set up for four and there was no way you could add a fifth. They also had a violin player but just kept playing the same songs over and over, probably the same 4 or 5 songs and we were there for what felt like forever for dinner. Again I'll go back to sit at the bar if someone wants to go but I wont bring it back up to try and the other four people probably wouldn't either.

Very calm and classy atmosphere, I really enjoyed the Linguine. My girlfriend had a steak and it was cooked to perfection. Wait staff is nice and violin player was a nice touch. Would recommend!

Recently made a visit to this restaurant for New Year's Eve dinner. We were seated quickly after arriving for our reservation. The waitress took our order immediately but that's when things went downhill. Our salad took more than thirty minutes to arrive. When I questioned the timing of the salad, the waitress was very dismissive. The salad tasted horrible- lettuce seemed old. The entrees were bland as well. I understand this was a busy night but service was bad, I didn't see a manager walking around to help the wait staff. A bad dinner- with bad customer service. We will not return to this restaurant

We made reservations on a Friday night. I think around 7 or 8 was when the live music started. It was nice, but a little loud, makes it hard to carry on your conversation.All of the food was absolutely amazing. We split some appetizers, even though they were delicious, I would have probably have skipped them IF I had known ahead of time that the meal came with a salad and bread. It ended up being a lot of food! But everyone's meal was delicious. No room left for dessert! Drinks were great too! Our server was kind and attentive! We will be back!

Top notch service, food, and atmosphere. Sleek dining room with a ton of focus on the details. The avocado bombs were possible the best thing I've eaten. Crunchy, tasty, and so many flavors with the seaweed salad. The aqua fino was truly amazing. Crunchy rice noodles, perfectly prepared salmon, and the rice cake was on point. This is truly a special place.

We had my sister's surprise birthday party at Aqua this past Friday night. Our reservation was for 5:30 for a party of 10. We were warmly greeted immediately at the hostess station and taken to our table in the back room where the long table was set up beautifully. Candles on the table and decorations hanging from the ceiling created a special mood for the celebration. Water glasses were filled at each place with slices of cucumber in each. We proceeded to tie balloons to the chairs and put out some other party decorations. When my sister arrived she and her husband were escorted back and she was truly surprised! Our server (whose name I'm sorry I can't remember) took drink orders and returned promptly with them. We probably didn't order for at least another 45 minutes or so as we wanted time to socialize first. We never felt rushed. On to the food: each entree was preceded with a side salad that was fresh and tossed with a delicious dressing. I ordered the Aqua Fino which was a perfectly cooked piece of salmon with crispy skin and plated with a cake of rice and baby bok choy sitting in a flavorful coconut curry sauce...oh that sauce!! My sister who is vegan ordered her usual tofu fino which is in the same coconut curry sauce and delicious (I've had it before...did I mention we've been here many times in the past). My husband had the linguine with crab which he loved and my son had the short ribs and was equally happy with them. I don't know what everyone else ate but there was not a complaint among them. The food was plated so beautifully you hardly wanted to dig in. I had so much food I took half home. This is by far one of the best meals I've had in a long time, from the decor, to the service and the food! Thank you Aqua for making this a memorable event for my sister and my whole family! NY Eve severely understaffed. Check in process was manual with no respect to online reservations. One bartender could not keep up with demand. Actual evening did not match Social media advertising promoting the night. Merchandising the night including the menu and activities could have been much better.
