Applegate Inn

It's been a few years since last review. I take cheating on mushrooms seriously lol. This time the pizza was perfect! And I got my double Mushroom! Thank you Mrs Zirelli!!!

We Love the food and the friendly atmosphere at the Applegate Inn. We will always return to this amazing restaurant at least once per week. It does not get any better than the Applegate Inn!!!!!

We visited Applegate Inn strictly to try the pizza and it did not disappoint!! In fact, it was some of the best we've had. We ordered the square which is a deep dish and the crust was so good. Crispy on the outside but soft on the inside with great flavor. We picked 5 toppings and the pizza was loaded with them! The mushrooms were canned which is a huge bummer on pizza. Otherwise the topping were delish! The restaurant has parking right outside on the street. I didn't really notice other parking since we didn't have to look around. The building itself is large with lots of seating, a bar area, and a pool table - which looked like it was free to play. I was disappointed our waitress didn't come back to check on us. I have a feeling it was the end of her shift but someone could have checked to make sure all was good with our pizza. Also hubby could have used a drink refill. Applegate Inn is in the tiny city of Applegate and I'm sure it doesn't get a lot of visitors but if you are in the area I suggest this hidden gem for pizza!!

Best pizza in the area! I only get their zerelli's special. Good anti-pasta too. Best Long Island ice tea's around!

I'll start with this....great bar burgers and great Detroit style Square pizza. O, and great cheesy bread too.I've always heard their pizza was great but dismissed its reviews since its the only option in town and therefore the best pizza in town. Boy was I wrong. You can't go wrong with their square pizza and cheesy bread. Make the drive, belly up to the bar, order a High Life in a can, and prepare to be blown away by a great pie.

Once waited on service was good. We had too much time with drinks and menu before our waitress came to our table.

I love how the pizza dough is light, chewy yet crispy and thick. Easily the best pizza around. Toppings, cheese and sauce very good. The only thing that could take their craft up a notch is to use fresh mushrooms and add hamburger to their toppings list.....because I dont like to eat pork if I don't have to and hamburger is a great alternative. Great service and the place was clean

It wasn't that great, really slow service. And they missed a lot of our food. Then it took and additional 30 min just to get a missing item. Would not come back. Not worth the wait and not worth the time or money.

An old man took our order and we had to take the pad of paper and write our own order down. They took 45 mins to serve the table and asked if we had all of our food when we were still missing portions we ordered. Not great

Very good service quick good price and it taste amazing!! Don't forget to try the pizza!
