Friendly enough staff and ambiance, but the food was mediocre at best.We came in with a big party on a Sunday morning and were able to be seated fairly quickly. Our server was friendly and went out of her way to make sure all of us had the opportunity to order what we wanted the way we wanted to. I'm sure the quality of service is the main reason people keep returning back to Annie's again and again. However the food was lackluster at best. I ordered the chicken and waffles. The chicken was just a very dry chicken tender paired with a waffle that didn't have much flavor too. Ordering this felt like a mistake. My husband ordered the Western Skillet - It's big. It's a lot of food, but was just a mess of blah and didn't look enticing at all. And of course the taste matched the look - A cheesy who knows what I'm eating sort of vibe.If we come back, we'll definitely try something else, but it won't be my choice to come back here. There are plenty of other brunch places nearby with tastier food.

Sunday morning breakfast rush and Annie's staff did not miss a single beat. Great teamwork among the friendly waitstaff. My server was Mine (mih-nay). No wasted motions. Attentive without being obsequious. The portions were huge. I order the corned beef hash with scrambled eggs. The corned beef was thin sliced, not shredded ... I prefer shredded.Value? Including tip, no coffee, the check was $17. Minus 1-star. Steve's on Middlebelt is a much better value.Nice wide aisles. An elderly gentleman required EMTs and they had no problem whatsoever getting their gurney from the front door to his booth. They use the Toast, Inc POS system. If you are an Apple/Google/Samsung Pay user ... just scan the QRcode on the check, enter the tip and double-click to pay.

We decided to try Annie's when looking for a family restaurant. My son and his wife, my two toddler grandkids and I came for lunch. First time here for all of us. We had been to this location when it was a Big Boy, but not since it became Annie's, My grandson was impressed by his pancake with Mickey Mouse ears! I did not know they had a lot of Big Boy type items on their menu. My son got the "slimJim" sandwich and it was good sized and yummy looking! I got potato pancakes, half order was plenty. Good but just a touch too much onion. Everyone enjoyed their food, and I'll be sure to come back another time. There's still a lot to try from the interesting menu.

Holy smokes, this place had a world class deli Reuben sandwich and a damn good tuna sandwich as well. The whole menu looked great but I've NEVER had a better Reuben!!!!!!

This morning was my first time at Annie's for breakfast and it won't be the last! 10/10 for EVERYTHING! Service was top notch, very attentive wait staff, refills consistently and just the sweetest people! The food was SOOOO good! I got the veggie omelette with cheddar (sooo good, and huge portions, I ate half and will have the other half for dinner), multigrain bread is extra tasty, and the coffee was perfection. The cutest little diner around and I can't wait to go back!

This was a VERY disappointing dining experience.. if you could even say that.. The menu was what you expect of a family restaurant, although.. the language used when describing the combo options was misleading and wrong. For example, when I ordered my Grilled Ham & Cheese sandwich it came out looking like a puny little kids menu sandwich!! The sandwich itself wasn't bad but guess what.. the combo described that i would get fries, soup or coleslaw and a drink it also included a salad for 2 dollars extra!? But the worst part about all of this.. I ONLY GOT ONE SIDE FOR 7 EXTRA DOLLARS!!!! The service was also very unimpressive.. they were not attentive and gave minimal service. The place looked like an average family restaurant with some christmas decorations threw around everywhere but since it was just a local family restaurant i'll give the look a 3/5. I hope that this review will make you review your thoughts of coming here, thank you.

Annie's isBig Boy 3.0. They make all their classics under their own names but much better. I get their double decker which has double the beef of BB. My wife loves their slim Jim remake. They used to have an Irish burger which had a generous topping of corned beef on top, delicious. Their fries are always perfect and never sit under the warming light for a second. I hope Michelle Oliver of Chanel 4 does a review of them for her newsletter .

Went to Annie's with husband due to power outage at home, needless to say the restaurant was very busy. No problem and we understood that. However there was many screwups which I'll list. 1. Right after being seated I went to wash my hands, the server took drink orders and delivered them while I was gone. We waited 15 min after I returned to have server come back. Not because of how busy but she said she didn't see me come back. She walked past us twice but we didn't know she was our server or just bringing drinks. So was she even watching for me to return? 2. Ordered dinner with all gravy on the side, it came with gravy over everything which I do not like so sent it back. 3. She forgot husband's fries and my coleslaw until we were done eating and we didn't have an opportunity to remind her due to not seeing her nearby. 4. When she finally brought the fries backI about 10 min later, I reminded her that she forgot my coleslaw. She went to get it. She came back and said they're out of coleslaw would you like soup so I ordered chicken soup, she brought that and said because of the extremely long wait, we're giving you two free slices of pie. I said OK fine we know you're busy. We understand the power outage. It's not your fault. She thanked us. But when she brought the fries back and they were well done, I said, can you just take the fries off the bill since they're overcooked and when I go to reheat them in the air fryer they're gonna be too well done to eat. She said I can't do that. So here's the problem we go to the register and we're asked by the cashier. How was everything? to which I replied, horrible. She said what happened? and I said exactly what I just posted but I didn't even get it out when she went and got either the manager or the owner. He was a baldheaded dark haired guy with a bad attitude. He said if you're just looking for a free meal, I'll pay for your dinner but don't ever come back. I said I've been coming here for 50 years. I've never had a problem with anyone which I haven't. We wanted a discount off of the stuff that was screwed up, we weren't expecting an entire meal to be waived, but because he treated us like crap didn't want to hear what we had to say and accused us of wanting a free meal. I told my husband (after he said, I'll pay for the dinner), I said forget it let him pay for it. It was $34 by the way. if you're gonna have a seven dollar up charge for fries, we'd like to have them with our meal and not overcooked thank you very much. We'd also like to have the coleslaw or the soup at the time before or during the dinner not after. But he didn't hear any of that because he didn't want to hear it. He just accused us of not understanding the power failure and that they're very busy and just wanting a free meal. I said well what is being busy have to do with putting gravy all over the food when I clearly said, put it on the side. So he was having a bad day and took it out on us. but I'll be happy to never return to Annie's again. The food has gone downhill. Furthermore, when I mentioned what was going on, the cashier rolled her eyes and said the name of our waitress so apparently it's an ongoing problem that this waitress screws up the orders. Again, having nothing to do with power failure, and how busy they were. Also, she never came back one time to ask us how things were while we were eating. So again, not the fault of the power outage and how busy they were. First time that we never left a tip and we are very good tippers. .All we were doing was answering the question, how was everything? If the guy that copped an attitude doesn't want to know how everything was, tell your cashier to STOP asking the question! All we were going to ask for was to take the fries off the bill or a discount for getting side dishes after our dinner and not once checking to see how things were so we could inform the server of our concerns. Trust us, we'd have gladly paid $34 if we got our food as it's supposed to be delivered . We don't care about being told not to come back because Mr Attitude thinks we wanted a freebie. We don't appreciate being falsely accussed of something that wasn't true. All he had to do was say what happened and how can I make it right. Simple. 10% off would have been great.
