This is my go-to spot for post-night shift breakfast. They have parking, good open space, and never a wait around 7:30 AM. I usually get some hashbrowns and the toast is really good too. The pancakes are worth sharing. I recommend this spot. The service is nice and they have a qr code to pay the bill. So it can be an easy split. The ambiance is really good too. Overall, I am definitely coming here again.

Love love lots of things about this place. Have visited several times with different folks family friends colleagues- Always the food was great. French toast avocado toast omelettes lattes - no complaints with regard to these. BUT this locale is super popular so it may be a wait unless you check in well ahead of time online - via Yelp app. Bon appetite!

I've visited Anna's House a few times this year and it has started to grow on me. Both visits have been for brunch, and it has been a great central spot for everyone to get together. Several friends and I have diets we follow that may involve avoiding certain things (gluten, dairy, vegan, etc), and the menu makes it easy to see what foods are good choices. I recommend joining the waitlist if you want to go on a weekend - this place is popular! And you may have to wait a bit once you're there (for your table and then for food), but if you're not in a rush, it's a great spot. Very bustling and full of energy, you'll love the retro charm of the interior while you enjoy some hearty brunch food!

Visiting our own Wolverine we checked out the well reviewed Anna's House for breakfast.Short version: We were seated quickly even on a busy Saturday morning. Service was quick and kind and the food was very good. My meal was not as exciting as I hoped but still good.I had some coffee which is listed as Zingerman's special blend for the Anna's restaurant. It was good but not too special though my wife quite liked it. she and our oldest ordered and split the breakfast Mexican meal which I sampled as very good. They also had a massive cinnamon bun that aped and exceeded Cinnabon. I preferred the Mexican dish over my own egg lasagna which came with roasted potatoes. It was good but had a bit too much bechamel and a bit too little of the internal spinach, tomatoes, sundried tomatoes and chicken sausage. The lils had pancakes and French toast and devoured them without complaints. There's lots of vegan and vegetarian options which is good for two of my family. And lots of other enticing menu items. It is a little pricey but it made for a good, filling meal.

Inside decor is very nice, hostess staff was very pleasant. Our waitress took our order fairly quickly she was nice, but I think she may have forgotten our latte as it was served after our food arrived. The lavender is really strong and it was complimented with a perfect amount of maple, if you like floral drinks you will love this latte. The banana pecan French toast was one of the best things, I have put in my mouth. The bread has the perfect consistency. The rum based sauce is amazing, but my favorite is the cream they put on top. My wife absolutely loved her corn beef hash and you get nice chunks of corn beef not the super diced amounts some restaurants serve. Definitely one of the better breakfast lunch spots in Ann Arbor. For both of us everything was $42, so with tip two people can expect to spend $40-50 depending if you get a latte or not.

Well it ain't Westland. The waiter was taciturn. Not a hint of charm. Wouldn't crack a smile even if he won the lottery. Borderline dingy looking in our section, we sat at a janky sticky table for two, albeit with a nice view.. Just bad juju overall. A whole I dont give a shit vibe on a Tuesday just before 10 am. I felt actually unwelcome to be honest. They don't have the cinnamon tea here which would have been nbd really I'm totes fine with the excellent Earl Grey. The waiter acted like I was insane for ordering it though. Sorry dude I get it all.the.damn.time at your Westland locale. Whatever. I ordered the fabulous banana pecan french toast. My husband does the pancake combo and it is also super tasty. We decide to get some billion dollar bacon and that was a mistake, very undercooked here and that's never happened to us before elsewhere. We were never offered a single refill. Even with food left and long empty cups. That's just bad service. Hey my husband would be fine with paying for more coffee. I would have been more than willing to pay for more tea. Do we gotta beg? I honestly would not come back here. The food was mostly nice but the service and overall experience makes me feel like we threw 50 bucks in the gutter. I literally felt awful just being here and I'm a fan of the chain overall. By the way just one hint of niceness, of friendliness or of care could have saved it. We may not look it but we are good tippers and we definitely are nice to people waiting on us because we genuinely appreciate it.I get hating your job. I go to restaurants all the time. I get bad days, I understand working at a restaurant can be super hard sometimes and that customers are not always easy on you. But tbh I was coming from a nightmare experience at the hospital where they injected shit into my damn eyes and I showed up, smiled, joked and treated you well and guess what? No one was even paying me to be pleasant. All I wanted was a nice little breakfast, nothing ott just a simple bit of kindness in return for my business.

Had my hopes up from the reviews and pics, but it was pretty mid:/. The interior and exterior had a really chill vibe. Inside is like a retro but modern look? The service was slow but luckily we came after the brunch rush so once people started clearing out it went up to standard.Ordered the corned beef hash and a side of cheesy tatertots. Both were bland :(. I had to drench both in hot sauce and ketchup to taste something.Maybe it's what i ordered, but this place is definitely one of those you go for the vibes than the food.

My favorites are the chicken sausage tater tot casserole (very filling) or the sweet potato brussel sprouts hash (amazing - lighter). Great service and hot drinks. Prefer this! Their house coffee is ok. We love the cinnamon roll too. Such a dependable breakfast plan.

We are back 2 years after our first visit . The power in my families neighborhood was out for a couple Of hours and my uncle needed to eat breakfast. He is 98 years old. We both needed some coffee and the coffee was good and strong. I ordered the hippie hash and it was very satisfying. Broccoli, rice, beets and red potatoes made for a hearty meal. Lauren B was our server and she was friendly and very helpful. We were greeted upon our bc arrival. Prices seemed to be in line with most restaurants. $3.50 for the coffee was a bit high but at least it was worth it. Some breakfast places could learn from Anna's about coffee. The decor brings a smile to your face
