We visited on a whim after shopping in the area. We ordered take out. Create your own pasta - 1 spaghetti with bolognese and 1 mostaccioli with marinara. It was good! We also ordered garlic bread and a small salad. The customer service was excellent! The restaurant is very welcoming and friendly. All "played up" Italian type pictures and decor. Overall,we had a good experience.

Very small portions, as in child size portions. I ordered pasta with chicken and they forgot the chicken which made it even worse.

I was really hoping to be the first review but I got beat. So, they just opened today! We got carry out. We were not disappointed. My wife is part of the andiamo mailing list... apparently. And just nonchalantly mentioned how this place just opened up. We got a tortellini and a mostaccoli and these were delicious. The tortellini alla panna is filled with beef, pork and veal. It comes with mushrooms and basil and mascarpone. It was so fresh and so tasty. My wife got the mostaccoli with meat sauce and meatballs added. I tried it, it was on point and I usually don't care for andiamo but this being a chipotle version of it, I'm all for it. She got a house salad with hers and I got Caesar. My salad is the only reason I'm making this a four. It just seemed like very little effort was put into making it. But at the same time, it was carry out so this could just be the time it sat in the car. In either case, we will definitely be back and can't wait to try more items from their menu!

I ordered a carry out of the baked mostaccolli, chicken piccata, caprese salad, garlic bread, chocolate silk tuxedo cake and Kit Kat cake. Everything was absolutely delicious and I'm excited to order from them again. The only thing I was disappointed on was the 10/15 minute wait I had when picking up my order and there was only two tables actually sitting inside when I arrived.

I hate to knock this new business but I have to be honest and truthful. In all honesty, 2 stars is me being generous. Based on my 1st experience, it's no mistake that this place will need to reevaluate their business is they want to stay in business. The inside is open dining and there's definitely no lack of seating. Like a LOT of seating. But seeing as how it's almost like cafeteria style dining the amount of dining seems excessive. I evaluated the menu. It's short and to the point. 2 soups, a few salads, a few paninis and some pasta dishes. I wanted an Italian subs but all the offer paninis, ok I'm fine with that. Reading the menu, they offer 4 types of panini, I went with The Godfather, as it was the closest to an actual Italian. The menu read that it was "Rosemary ham, Soppressata, mozzarella, provolone, banana peppers and Italian vinaigrette, served on garlic-herb focaccia, served cold". That's exactly what the meant stated. I was a little, well a lot disappointed that the sandwich wasn't served with any veggies. It's an Italian sandwich, served cold (as the menu stated), where's the lettuce/tomatoes/onions??! I said something to the chef who said he would be glad to add the said vegetables to my sandwich. I was very happy he was going to make the modification. The sandwich also came with a side of soup or a side salad. I am not usually a soup person but I thought in the true spirit of trying this new restaurant I would give one of their homemade soups a try. I chose the pasta e fagiolo, which literally translates to pasta with beans. While waiting for my food the phone did not ring one time nor did one patron come in for food. I walked around and snapped a couple pictures. I noticed that all the soups and sauces had a full inch of grease on the top of them. I was second-guessing my choice for soup. For some reason my soup and sandwich took a lengthy amount of time to make. Mind you, I was the only patron in the entire restaurant. I got home with my items and opened up the disappointment. Panini sandwich was served hot, when the menu said served cold. The chef said he was happy to add my modifications of lettuce/tomatoes/onions, but there wasn't a single one of the 3 on my sandwich. The menu stated there was soppressata salami on the sandwich. Anyone who knows deli meat, knows that this dry Italian salami is very distinct Italian meat. My sandwich did NOT have soppressata on it. Andiamo swapped out this deli meat for the cheap, generic salami. Take a look at my detailed pic. Also, it was to have 2 types of cheese on it, provolone and mozzarella. Mine had, again, cheap generic mozzarella only. The Italian vinaigrette wasn't vinaigrette but instead an Italian pickled vegetables mix. And while I appreciate that, the tiny/stingy amount was laughable. This panini was a complete lie. The pasta e fagiolo soup- was a complete joke! My soup that translates to pasta with means literally had one bean in it! There was a half a inch of oil on the top of my soup resembling the Exxon oil spill. I pushed some of the oil to the side to try to take a bite but the amount of sodium in the soup rendered it completely inedible! The soup I tasted as if it had been sitting around since the day it opened- the pasta disintegrated in your mouth and the vegetables were complete mush. But the salt level was enough to send you to the hospital. I realize that this place is new and it could need some "kinxs" worked out, but this many strikes is unacceptable. Will, I give it another shot? Probably because I'm a glutton for punishment, plus I have another $5 coupon they send me. I see a lot of rave reviews for this place on Yelp, but I think a lot are fake review, with shadow people. Friends of the owners perhaps?? I know my experience here was pretty awful and I just had to be completely honest with my review.

I was a bit nervous to check this place out, as a fellow yelper had a bad experience here. But I figured I would give it a try. Located next to their attached sister restaurant, you have the choice of eating there or next door. Nice to have some variety. This is a place where you walk up and order and then wait for your food to come out. We chose to try their salads today. I got the Cesar Salad with chicken, and he got an antipasto salad with chicken. The salads were enormous and packed full of toppings. Their dressing had a homemade feel and taste to it. The Italian dressing was creamy and delicious. It was impossible to eat all of it but we sure did our best! The service was very friendly. They are still working out some bugs, so be patient! Overall it was a pleasant experience, and I would definitely come back again It is quite close to me so that makes it very convenient. May even try it tonight for dinner!

not sure how to start this review.my husband and I are brand new to Washington township, I had my girl friends in town. we decided to try 2941 street food/next to bistro for lunch. as we stood in line no one helped us. all we heard was a yelling from what seems the back room? a couple employees came out and helped us. a thin lady named Robyn? she was great and very helpful but had seemed shook up from the yelling we had heard. not sure if she was involved but was very helpful. another lady about 5'4 looked very angry was wearing glasses. food was decent, brand new to Mediterranean food so we weren't expecting anything great, but a quick bite to eat. hence the further review.....for the 2 starswe decided to come back to Andiamo Bistro for dinner since it seemed like a quiet little spot to enjoy some Italian food, we are new to this once again but the Andiamo name rang a bell. we came in at 5/5:15ish? stood at the front black host stand and waited about 12 minutes. no one showed up to greet us, only 2 of us this time. 2 or 3 tables were sat. we did not see anyone on the kitchen side behind the glass. maybe a pre-dinner meeting? however we decided to go to brown iron across the street since we were on a time crunch. I'd like to try this place again. but since it's a joined building.... not sure if they are all the same staff? it's rather confusing.
