Anchor Bay Pit Stop Diner

Great food and great service! I have visited this restaraunt numerous times and whether I'm dining in or ordering takeout, it's always consistently good!

I was not having a good day...ran a couple errands; stopped to drop something off to a friend, realized I had taken fasting to a new level and was feeling a tad "off".I asked her to recommend a spot where I could get waited on quickly....so here I am.Walking into the door was like a portal trip to #Back2TheFuture. What a cute little diner! Staff and customers were all smiling and clearly enjoying themselves!People at different tables were even interacting! They actually have a counter with red stools, so of course I had to sit there!Allie was #QuickDrawMcGriddle with the menu and coffee was within reach in minutes (the GET it- see sign).The weather is incredibly hot, but the first thing that I saw on the menu was that they have egg lemon rice soup (Avgolemono); but tabling that for now .The strawberry spinach salad was excellent. A gr8 portion, plenty of chicken and feta. I left the tomato and onion off. I asked for the dressing on the side, and Allie was kind enough to bring me three containers, which was more than enough. The spinach was crisp and fresh. There is a side of pita. I don't "do" gluten, but they have GF substitutes, as well.The coffee was excellent, and they kept my cup full.It was really nice chatting with Amanda, the manager. Super friendly and professional; it was cool to have her show interest in a #EliteYelp event I attended a few days earlier at a nearby bakery.All in all, I needed this!Thank you so much to the #PitCrew!#StayLocal#MomAndPopI'll be back when it cools down for that avgolemono.

Pit Stop is an awesome little diner with a huge heart! The service is always so friendly, and their drive thru is extremely efficient! I tried the Tuesday burger special and I honestly say it's one of my top 3 burgers. It was a huge patty, cooked to order (pink center for me, which they nailed!), and was very flavorful! The fries that came with it was a big portion and were delicious! The potato skins were yummy and had lots of bacon topping. I have also had their fish dinner on a Friday night, which is definitely a solid go-to if you like fish n' chips.I was extremely impressed with the packaging, the tin foil lining in the container kept the burger from getting soggy. It was a nice touch! Love supporting small local businesses like this!

The best staff and food around. They have daily specials. I love their crepes. Fridays fish and chips.

When you see the wait staff having fun, you know it's going to be a great experience. We ventured in for a quick bite. We ordered our food and in less than ten minutes we were served. The coffee was great, the chocolate chip pancakes and sausage were great. And my supreme skillet was pretty good as well. There's a sign inside that says "where the locals gather". Made sense, as the wait staff seemed to know everyone's name. It's just a nice spot with great food. I'm glad we stopped by and we love our little city with these types of gems nearby.

Very friendly service. The owners care for the community and their customers. The service is always on time. There's not a lot of waiting.

The food is outstanding. If you're looking for a cute hometown diner, this is it! Service is excellent and friendly. The spaghetti special on Wednesdays is one of my favorites!

Such a great diner. Super friendly staff & food was yummy. My kids loved the pancakes & French toast. Seasoned curly fries are a must. We'll be coming back

Shared a Mexican and a southern omelette. Both really good. Mushroom fans would love the southern omelette- nearly too many. Toast ,tomatoes and home fries were also good. Lots of regular customers. Nearly the entire staff greets you with a hello upon entering. Server was very efficient.

A friend of mine and I had lunch at Anchor Bay Pit Stop for the first time this past Monday and we really liked it! They greeted us as soon as we walked in the door, our waitress was super nice and the food was really good. We will definitely go back and highly recommend them!
