Order the three beef tacos; two chicken tacos; one chicken fajita; nacho salsa; and fried ice cream minus the fudge extra caramel drizzle . This was a carryout order. Arrived home only to find out that there was no salsa and chips, and the fried ice cream was drenched in fudge in which case I had requested no fudge due to an allergic reaction through. Called restaurant, even though they were closed; they answered the telephone and corrected the order after hours. All the food was excellent and the customer service spectacular.

A quaint little restaurant nestled in a strip mall that serves chips and delicious salsa with chips that is mediocre. The food was fantastic and came highly recommended by family, as we were visiting from out of state. We were very happy with this dinner selection!

I visited from Dallas all the way here and certainly was not disappointed. We arrived 10mins before closing and we were welcomed with very open arms. We were sat in a booth, never felt rushed. To say the food was "increible" (with my spanish accent) was an understatement. I certainly will be back on my next visit to Grosse Ile.

Been eating here for over 30 years! It is my favorite local Mexican Food Restaurant. I have not found anywhere else that has the same type of delicious smooth salsa and often will stop just to get chips & salsa takeout. My favorite meal is the bean, beef and cheese burritos but the shredded chicken ones are equally amazing. The Mexican pizzas are huge, crispy and delicious as well. The rice is the one Mexican rice I have found that I really like. The Service has always been accommodating and very kind. Quaint, Love the decor and the ambiance when they play authentic Mexican music

Next year will be 40 year's this Classic Downriver Mexican restaurant open. A TexMex delicious eating spot. We been customers 30 plus years first at Allen Road and Eureka location. Now just this location and granddaughter opened a take out only place on Fort in Southgate. Totally Wowed the special on Thursday Mexican Pizza only $7.99 will feed 2 hungry folks. A really fabulous Queso Fundidio loaded with house made Chorizo outstanding. I had the Chunky Beef Mexican Sandwich spot on Wonderful. She had a OMG fantastic Botona a real winner loaded with all the goodies. They don't use gloves when they cook or make any food or use hairnets. There messy with there pay. There staff and managers are rude to their coworkers. I've worked there and i don't recommend it.

Foods really good but there's one waitress that likes 2 jump out at you to scare tou and she also likes to stand/sit at your tables with you while you eat and just talk, for that reason alone we have stopped coming in there we have gone in there for years.we just ddont care for the waitress beth we came in for dinner and family time not to be jumped out at and have the waitress sitting down with you at your table.
