Comfort Food. Extensive Menu. Great Service! We had fried mushrooms and fried zucchini. Loved the breading. Fish sandwich and Coney dog top-notch! Definitely recommended

The interior is beautiful and up to date. The waitress misunderstood our order, but was kind and apologetic. The chili cheese fries were fresh, hot, and delicious.

They're getting more than the 1 star from us because the manager was true to his word and quick to action. Our server tried her best in the busy restaurant and we were grateful for her efforts, but I don't honestly feel that they weren't ready for the amount customers they had this morning. Our family were patient and understanding when she brought the wrong drinks. And when we realized we didn't have silverware, I simply asked for some from a passing server. When the fries were still half frozen, we simply asked for them to be made well done. It's food...it's not worth being rude to human beings. But when our server took our credit card to the front, and then came back almost 10 minutes later telling us they were "looking for it because she lost it and can't find it"...we got a bit irritated. I decided to leave since I'm easily embarrassed, and let my husband wait for them to look for it. My husband called me a bit later and told me that he had stood off to the side for another 10-15 minutes while he was repeatedly told "I don't know what to tell you, I don't have time to look for it". Just call your bank and cancel it." and was dismissed while the lady at the register seated more patrons and cashed out more checks. He tried to explain that he doesn't have another card and cannot wait 2 weeks while a new one is mailed, and she rolled her eyes and ignored him. Finally the manager was called over because my husband stood by the checkout waiting for her to acknowledge him again, and the manager told her "just don't charge him". My husband explained that was nice but is a moot point because we have no other method of payment and she got offended and snapped "he already said you won't be charged. Just leave your number and I'll call if I find it. We're busy"My husband said he wasn't leaving until they actually stopped to look or let him look and she GLANCED down and grabbed it off a shelf and showed it to him and said "oh...is THIS it?" She then immediately swiped it and charged him after she was told not to by management. I called up to ask the manager about the attitude because I was irritated she would be so rude and not even look for his card before insisting he just call the bank to cancel it, and was told they would reverse the charge for our breakfast which we definitely appreciate. I'm just in shock at the whole situation.

Good coney in Midland! Much nicer than other coneys in my opinion. The portions are spot on and the service is good.

Great Service. Friendly Staff. To go to. During our lunch breaks, my friends and I like coming here for food. The staff is always attentive, and they tend to sit us quickly. Never takes a long time to get our ordered in, and get our orders fresh and warm on our table! The fries here are delicious; and I always look forward to coming here. It's a dinner, so you can expect family like food. Everything that my friends and I have ordered has always been great, so I recommend anything on their menu!

So I haven't had this app long and Americus showed up as a recommendation and I guess I can share my experience. My partner and I, including friends and families love going there. The food is great, and the waitresses can sometimes talk a lot in the back but overall it was great. Until we did a carry out for our family. We ordered a lot of food- we asked for no tomatoes on the club and chicken finger pita because my partner is very allergic! We didn't check the food because we thought they never mess up, well they did. They had tomatoes on everything and forgot my father in laws baked potato. All we did was call and the young lady was nice and explained that she would leave a note and when we come in we can be reimbursed or whatever because we didn't want to drive back up there. Well, about two weeks later we called to order and we told them there should be a note because that's what the woman said it would be and they told me there was no note, they got the manager and he told me that it basically didn't happen because he approves everything and there is nothing in my name. Proceeded to tell me that our name is not there, and just was not listening to us at all, we explained the situation over and over and basically said "are you going to order or no" . Sad to say that we loved going here but after that little rude interaction with the manager and miscommunication with the waitresses, our business will go else where.

Love this place. Service & food are always good. Prices are reasonable. Friendly service. Have had the coconut chicken salad there twice, delicious. He had the grilled salmon, also delicious. Try it out.

Pita bread with salad was wrapped in tin foil to keep warm. When my niece opened tin foil there was a foot print on the pita bread, I wish she would have taken a picture as I would have reported them to Michigan's restaurant inspector.

My boyfriend and I have gone to Americus at least once a week for the past year. We're obsessed. The food is excellent and always comes out very fast even during busy Sunday mornings. The staff works tirelessly to give its patrons the best experience every time. The prices are unbeatable too. We are moving soon and we will be making the journey out to Milford just for Americus!
