It was a miserable day of waiting at the airport until the flight was cancelled. By the time I found a hotel, everything was closed. But I found Al's!! Love the chicken shawarma wrap with a pickle and the smoothie! The sandwich was just enough food. Next time I am in Dearborn, I will definitely check you out.

Good food, always finishes sooner than expected. The quality is good and fresh. Despite being in a gas station, it has never disappointed me. They have a variety of items on their menu. The only reason I'm giving 4 stars is because I ordered on Doordash and had some notes in there, and my notes were ignored. I also ordered extra items that were not in my food so I was a bit disappointed. Regardless, it was less than $3 bucks of stuff that I didn't get so I just shrugged it off. They have decent portions and their prices are usually above $7-$10.

The sub was good. I ordered the spicy chicken burner sub and I was not disappointed. The place is very small but it's fine if it's not busy. The food was prepared fresh and wait wasn't too long. Tastes like a nicely prepared average sub. Nothing special where I'll choose this place over their local competitors but it's decent. I still have yet to come try their burger.

Please don't waste your time. There are far more businesses that offer sandwich/shawarmas in the area that are more deserving of your money. This place used to be good when it first opened, like many restaurants in Dearborn it went downhill over time. Everything here is so rushed, sloppy and uninspiring. If you are really hungry or drunk late at night and this is your only option then it might do the trick. Otherwise it's a hard pass!

No expectations when I walked in.Never heard of this restaurant before, surprisingly the place was well kept and staff were nice. Bathroom was clean and no worries about there being trash.I ordered 2 burgers, one had an onion ring, a delicious sauce and mozzarella stick cheese. The patty was thick and juicy for both burgers.The second burger was the bbq burger, it had bbq sauce, turkey bacon, and mayo and their secret Al sauce The flavor combinations for each burger were perfect for each. The mozzarella cheese provided a contrast with the sweet sauce. The bbq sauce on the second burger was too sweet to over power the taste of the patty or the other ingredients. Definitely recommend both! this place is recommended
