My wife and I dined at Alma Kitchen last night, and had an exceptional experience from start to finish. We made a reservation and, upon arriving on time, were seated immediately. The hostess and our server were both incredibly friendly and welcoming, setting a positive tone for the evening. The restaurant itself has a pleasant, open atmosphere with well-placed tables that allow for comfortable dining.I ordered the peanut chicken curry, and let me tell you--it was absolutely phenomenal. Having lived overseas on two separate occasions, I've had my fair share of curries, from Japanese and Thai to Indian varieties. This curry was a perfect fusion and easily ranks in the top five curries I've ever had--honestly, it's top three. The balance of spice and sweetness was spot on, and the flavors were pure perfection. The portion size was just right, though I found myself wishing for more simply because it was that good.My wife ordered the hamburger with pork jelly and fried onions, accompanied by golden brown french fries. Every element of her dish was superb--the pork jelly added a unique and delicious touch, and the fries were cooked to perfection. Both of our meals were outstanding in quality and flavor. What really sealed the deal for us was the affordability. We were pleasantly surprised by the check, especially considering the 20% tip was already included (a nice touch). The service was excellent, so we tipped beyond that as well.Alma Kitchen delivered on every level--fantastic food, exceptional service, and great value. We will definitely be returning and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a memorable dining experience. Don't miss out on the peanut chicken curry--it's absolutely amazing!

The food was delicious! We had the chicken & waffles, pulled pork sandwich, shrimp & crab ragoons, upside down apple pie and the carrot cake. EACH item was delicious!!!! The restaurant was very clean and the ambience was quiet during the afternoon. The greeter and server were both friendly and attentive. I definitely recommend eating here because we'll be going back to try the rest of the menu.

The food was great. Nice large portions, I love getting another meal from my leftovers. I ordered the curry peanut chicken bowl. It was a generous portion served over rice. My friend ordered the burger and fries. He devoured the entire burger which was large. I helped with the fries; who can resist helping a friend with some really good fries! Our waitress was attentive, she was busy because the restaurant was full on a Sunday evening. We were lucky to get a booth, we only waited maybe 5-10 minutes. The atmosphere was a little loud but not too bad. We had both heard good things about the place and wanted to try it. There was a nice selection of dishes on the menu I will be back to try more of them!

We ate here earlier in the day, and the food was quite salty. I didn't know if it was because we were the first order of the afternoon or if it's always like that, but I had a bit of a headache afterward. The Korean wings were good, but the pepper steak and sliders were overly salty. The sauces were over reduced and just a little more salt seasoning than I'm used to. The staff was super friendly though!

No food, but the cocktails were pretty good. Had the espresso which was wonderful, but the daiquiri was not so good.

Alma kitchen has become somewhat of a staple in our family, being an easy favorite of my husband and brother's. Oftentimes when thinking of a location for weekend brunch, this is an easy choice. We've also been here for celebratory lunches and birthdays. The space is expansive with lots of seating making it great for larger groups. Hats off to the servers for managing this! The menu is huge with lots of variety and well-priced, so there is something for everyone.

I've been here multiple times with large parties, no one has ever been disappointed with their meal. Every dish here is very well thought out, rich, and executed. Each meal uses lots of different ingredients, nothing is simple here and you can really tell. My favorite meals are the Cajun salmon burger and the Asian black pepper shrimp. Group favorites are always the vodka chicken parm and biscuits and gravy. Service has always been fine. A few interesting decorations to look around at.

Excellent food, I have to say that their spinach artichoke dip is the best I've ever had. I really like the variety on this menu. Nice atmosphere, casual, and easy parking off-street. Took a star off my review for slow service (when there were only three tables filled) and the addition of a tip for a party of two. I always tip 20%, and I would have in this instance, but I wasn't given an option - and I don't like that. Tipping is *supposed* to be optional, so unfortunately as much as I enjoyed the food here I will not be back. Pay your servers a living wage, don't rip it from my wallet.

Y3Ssss I Highly RECOMMEND this spot, WHYb/c location is 10 mins away, so we're going to frequent this spot. Started w/a cup chicken Tortilla soup, traditional taste, enjoyable. Ma ordered the beef tenderloin, veggie medley (zucchini, mushrooms) over a gravy w/ potatoes, all seasoned very flavorful! I ordered the chicken (crispy/hot) skillet, w/ red skin potatoes, peppers, chorizo, onions, topped w/ egg & pepperjack cheese, dousted w/ hot sauce, VERY delicious. It would be cool if they had some kinda warm bread & butter as a prelude. For drinks, the cinnamon old fashion was yum & refreshing. To top off dinner, carrot cake for dessert, nice size slice, they said it was homemade, ate lata w/ van ice cream, SLAPP!N! I'd give them a 9 b/c service was quite pleasant. Only downside... they need better ventilation in the washroom. The decor & artwork in the space embraced traditional heritageAlma's Kitchen was born from a blend of cultures. I love their origin story, ask them about it when ya visit! Overall plz check out this spot out soon & support their familial team.
