Horrible service. We were forced to be there for 2 hours since we were ignored multiple times. The waitress also did not explain that there was a price difference between their grilled and fried family platters which I believe was purposeful. We even told her that we had a plane to catch and she still served, charged, and chatted with other customers before us. It sucks because the food was pretty good, but the service being so awful completely took away from that. People of different demographics than those who usually go there should be careful as well as I believe our cultural differences played into how they treated us...

Saw this place recommended from a food blogger and so I gave it a try. Aliz has whole grill fish and so many fish options (red snapper, golden pomfret....). Not a lot of restaurants serve whole grill fish and with different seasoning also. Fish are so good and properly season, the sides like sayyadiyah rice or saffron rice are great too.My shrimp skewer was overcooked and tough so beside that everything was great. Service is ok(usually teenagers work there) Areej was great If you want seafood and try something new and different, try Aliz. This should be one of the top restaurants in Detroit if they keep this quality up. Better than Fishbone in my opinion for sure.

September 28, 2024: The food was good...Now for the important part; service was not great. There was one lady serving us and the restaurant was pretty empty. The lady serving us our food, kept saying "one second" and proceeded to serve us, minutes after serving everyone else. My family and I spent more time waiting than eating, which is completely unacceptable. Additionally, the floor and walls of the men's bathroom looked like it had been sprayed with a water gun, I almost slipped while using the restroom, which made the whole experience all the less enjoyable. If you are reading this review, please find somewhere else to eat.

Aliz Seafood House is one of the better seafood restaurants in Dearborn. Located on W. Warren Ave with parking on the side of the building and street as well. Someone recommended the place so we thought we'd try it. We were greeted when we walked in and the waitress was helpful with the menu. The place was setup nicely and kept clean. They have a huge selection of both seafood and chicken entrees. They have a fresh fish counter where you can select your fish if you desire. I'd stick with a soup or other appetizer and skip their hummus. I ordered the fish platter that came with a squewer of marinated grilled shrimp. The red snapper filets were fresh and cooked perfectly. The shrimp I picked was marinated with coriander and lemon which had a unique and flavorful taste. Their signature rice was a nice accompaniment to the fish. We also ordered breasted chicken. It came out piping hot and was super crispy and the meat was moist and seasoned nicely. To end the meal they brought a very nice cup of cardamom tea that they made in the traditional hot sand. It was a perfect ending. Prices were comparable to other places but the bonus to coming here is that you actually see the fresh fish in the case so you know what you're getting.

The newest restaurant in Dearborn is finally here! So what's different about this restaurant that it's a SEAFOOD ONLY restaurant. This restaurant has a Middle Eastern take with the a twist. They take typical Middle Eastern food, and turn it into a new concept. Kabobs made with only seafood - shrimp, salmon, tuna. And even fried and grilled kibbe made with seafood. Not only the filing, even the dough has seafood in it. I've never seen something as unique as this concept and was so glad I was able to come in and experience. The food honestly was so amazing and I definitely will be coming back soon because I highly recommend it.

This has been my family's go to place for months. Everything is delicious!! Get the spicy zabadeye with the sayadyeh rice. It's AMAZING. Our server Alaa was very sweet, and had a great energy. The place is also gorgeous. I love this place. I will come again and I will always recommend it.

Here's my full experience. Hope this helps both customers and restaurant. We ordered the following:Salmon with herbs and fries came with a sticker (see picture) and was super oily and greasy.Grilled king fish with Sayadia rice were both super greasy-shrimp skewers were mediocre-spicy fish skewer was good but i was blinded by the dripping oil -dynamite shrimp average with a hint of oiliness - chicken tenders came super late so we cancelled - Fried red snapper. Order never arrived so we cancelled - Hummus, fattoush, soda drinks were the only good things about this place- Owner was rude when we complained about the forgotten sticker in the food. Charge was removed from the bill. She was also rude when we said that sautéed veggies were very greasy and fries were super oily (uneatable). Her response was " fyi, sautéed means fried, and fries are fried in oil". Well, thanks for the English cooking lesson, we know what sautéed is and we've tried fries before. At least once!- Owner tried to apologize as they were super busy and offered free tea- Waitresses were nice, but sorry we don't leave tip for bad service, super long wait, and food that never arrived!- Our advice to management, you should only take in customers you can serve. Overcrowding your place while understaffed will only cause harm to your business.- Cleanliness 6/10- By the way, we talked to the table next to us and they didn't appreciate how greasy was the food! - This was our first and last time!
