I ordered a skillet. What I ended up getting a pile of shredded hash browns that was barely cooked with a very small amount of diced meat (think of a sausage cut into slices, then each circle cut into 4) topped with two squares of American cheese slices that looked like plastic. The meal was very bland and tasteless.Oh, did I mention the first plate of food I received had a curly beard hair on top of the eggs (center of the plate)? Note that their "skillet" menu options are actually not cooked on a skillet at all. It is very apparent that the food is lightly cooked on a flattop.

What can I say that someone hasn't already said about this place. It has been around for a long time and there is a reason for that. The food is always on point, the service is always with a smile and seem to go the extra mile, and the place is clean and organized. The menu is extensive and if you can't find something that you enjoy in this place you're just too picky.

This has to be one if the worst restaurants, slow service, food mediocre at best, we met our friends there, he ordered mostacelli which came out a sloppy mess, not sure what sauce was used, very tasteless. Banana pancakes. The inside of pancakes were raw batter, ham and cheese omelet so/so. Waitress never came back to ask how our food was. It was not until the server came to give us our bill, when he told her the pasta dish was inedible and she kept asking whats wrong with it. This place needs an overhaul, new cooks and servers. Will not go there again

Waitress's are extraordinary. They're super helpful and friendly. The food for breakfast is good and priced fairly. Have been coming here once a month for a meeting and have never been disappointed. Today, I decided to try a sandwich instead of my usual breakfast. Had the cheeseburger with no sides. You get to chose how it is cooked. I ordered medium and it was cooked perfectly with just a hint of pink in the center. Loaded with tomato, pickles, lettuce and mayonnaise sauce. The bun was fresh. One of the meeting attendees always has the wild caught salmon and had enough left for a doggy bag.

Delicious diner food especially enjoyed the Greek chicken kabobs- had to come back for more!! I enjoyed breakfast very much too - on a separate visit! Clean and large restaurant so we weren't crowded. Plus a great waitress - Athena!! I would eat here regularly if we lived closer!!!

Great boiled dinner for St. Patrick's Day, corn-beef, and cabbage. Great service, dinner was a hit.

I ordered a breakfast about 5pm. It was not as good as when I have gotten it in the morning The bacon was old bacon the hash browns were not fully cooked and the eggs were done but plated badly. This is the first time I ever left almost half my breakfast.

On 8.21.23 around 2:05p., I went to Alex's Restaurant on Rochester Road in Rochester Hills, Mi. I had an awesome lunch with an awesome waitress and busboy who were friendly and always checking on me.I tipped my server and went to pay my bill ($17.47). When she rang me up at the register, it only rang me up for $14.31. She was trying to figure out why it only "charged" my card for $14.31.A grubby elder man, wearing an cooks apron, came up front and told her, in a gruff-manner: "move out of the way." He then voided the transaction and then told me, in a gruff-manner: "give me your card."He swiped it, again and it still "charged" my card for $14.31. The waitress then said to him that maybe they should reboot the terminal. He said, loudly: "it's not us, it's this guy's card. . . it's no good!" I pulled up my bank app and showed that it was charged $14.31 and told him if my card were not good, my bank would have declined the transaction.He would not listen. . . instead, yelled at me to give him another card or pay cash. I told him that I was already charged $14.31, and it was not my fault that his registered only charged me $14.31 and not the $17.47. He then walked away yelling at me to get out and that he did not want my money and that "for me not to come back to the restaurant!"The waitress that served me, softly apologized. When I asked her what his name was, he yelled, from across the room: "It's none of my business who he was and for me to get out. Why did I want to know his name?" I told him that I needed to report this. He said: "to who?' "Get out of here".Since moving to Rochester Hills in 2022, I have visited that location over 30- times, with family and business associates. This location is nothing like the excellent family-experience I encountered at the Clinton Township location, which I have visited before moving to Rochester Hills.Needless to say, the Rochester Hills locations needs to revamp their upper-level management to be like their waitresses, busboys and staff, who are friendly, courteous and considerate, not like this "grumpy-older man".I hope and pray, someone who reads this review will reach out to the general manager/owner of that location and show him this review.(Written on 8.22.23 by MJ Kimo Keawe)

2nd time there.... First time was wonderful.This last visit was on a Sunday after church. They were a little busy when we walked in but we didn't mind. Waited just a minute or two.Waitress was very nice ...by the time we got our food ... people had cleared out. Our food...breakfast... was served cold :((Only thing came hot was oatmeal....And Sent back to be heated... yes it was that cold. And after a few bites found a weird looking thing.....thought maybe a string ????No ...a rubber band!! Lost my appetite after that! It was disgusting and really could not figure out why/how a rubber band could get cooked in an Omelette. They did take it off the bill ... but really they should of taken off comped the entire bill!Owner was cooking ... and yelling at the staff. So very unprofessional.He should of come over to apologize.

Nice restaurant, outside is beautiful and inside is very cute but basic. Waitress was very nice and attentive. Good food, they have a wide variety.
