The inside of the store is nice, clean, and open. There's a few seats if you want to sit and eat. On the pricier side but it is worth it. My family has had a few of their pies for holidays and celebrations and we love them! We've had the Chicken Pot Pie, Pumpkin Shelly, and Blueberry. I loved the savory chicken pot pie especially the option to just have a half pie. I will say unfortunately during Thanksgiving we were given the wrong pie flavor and we realized too late but we ended up liking it so it did not take away from the experience.

Achatz makes some good pie. I love that they have such a nice selection, including some savory options. One of my favorites is definitely the Michigan 4 Berry - a perfect mix of sweet and tart, with a crunchy topping. I've also tried the cannoli cream and chocolate silk, which were very good. This location is cozily tucked into a little corner of a strip mall, next to the new Gilly's Ice Cream and Biggby, so you can conveniently stop and add a scoop of ice cream to your pie, or enjoy with a cup of coffee. There's some seating inside, a low-key vibe, and friendly service. An all-around great pie shop.

I love to cook, but baking is not my strong suit. So for that, I head over to the Troy location and let my nose do the shopping. When you walk in the door, your senses are nearly overwhelmed by the beautiful aroma of baking piesMy favorite is blueberry, but on this occasion, the meal called for cheesecake, I love their New York style, and they have a good variety of toppings to go on it. So whether a full pie, or pie by the slice. This is my to go spot.

I really like this store a lot. I'm fan of Achatz since some of their pies are vegan. The staff is always friendly and welcoming. On top of sweet pies they also offer frozen savory ones. Before going vegan I liked some of their cream pies too and the salted caramel cookies. Now I stick only to their vegan fruit pies. All Achatz stores are closed on Saturdays so keep that in mind if you want to visit.

My friend talked up Achatz's so much that I was worried we'd be disappointed, but WE WERE NOT! Same friend brought a berry pie to a party recently and everyone was over the moon. We will definitely be going back and also are excited to try their savory pies too.

Popped in today because I needed pie!!! Clean and friendly. I just wanted a 1/2 pie of the triple berry blend and they were happy to cut one in half for me. The girl working there was delightful. Friendly and chatty.
