A Health Nut Vitamin

Whenever I think of a vitamin store, the first place to come to mind is GNC. But, I'm somebody who prefers to patronize local businesses instead of corporations when I have a chance. So, when this place came up in my Yelp search, I decided to give it a try.The store is small, about the size of the grocery area of a small gas station. But, looks are deceiving. They have a nice, varied food area with some interesting and tasty selections to try. But, I was here for vitamins and supplements, so I decided to have a look around. They seem to have anything I could possibly want from a vitamin store.I was concerned that one obscure item I wanted wasn't there, but the helpful staff was able to locate it. This prevented me from having to go mail order. Take that, Amazon!Considering that there also open late just about every day, I have no excuse to go anywhere else.

They tried to keep my money even though I never received my product?! Then TERRY offered me expired products?! Who does that?! A bunch of FRAUDS!

I've been shopping here for decades - and I will never go back again after my visit yesterday. The Elderberry that I just bought there last month for $10.49 is now $19.99. I didn't think price gauging was legal. There was also a young woman working there practically screaming that all of us M'fuc*'s need to stay home because her mom has coronavirus becaue people like us don't stay home. Very disappointed and definetly will not be returning!

I've been buying my supplements online for sometime from Health Nut Vitamin. To date I'm very pleased with the products and prices this business has to offer.

This is a very reliable business. It hasn't caught up with some of the other health food stores in the food department, but they have a great selection of supplements at reasonable costs. They also have a diverse section of things like massage oil, hair color, deodorant, etc.On the east side it's a good main stay.

Since 1974 this family run business has been serving the east side with quality vitamins, supplements, and excellent customer service. A full range of herbs, oils and choice dry and organic canned groceries are in ample supply too. This is my go-to stop.

I went in there last week. As I walked in the store, two women were saying nasty things about someone that wasn't in the store at the time. Swearing!!! OUT LOUD!!!???No Hello, No recognition whatsoever and they DID see me walk in. I spent a lot of time smelling essential oils and started to notice how blantently mean the one lady is. Perhaps she has had a bad life? Or was mad or didn't feel good? I dunno. She was somewhat harshly nice to me face to face. Well... I went back today and asked a young gentleman a question and he just seemed evasive as if saying in his body language that he didn't give a crap. That harsh lady was as nice as I guess she gets. But I overheard the harsh clerk telling a customer that she didn't know the question that the customer asked her. I started to be helpful, not a know it all and started to state that I take both of them and so on. This harsh store clerk said something that was rude to me and rude attitude. She completely cut me off right at the start! Maybe they don't like other customers helping our fellow man? I thought about that for a moment while still browsing and maybe this harsh clerk felt stupid if she couldn't know every answer to a customer's questions. She did put me in my place. Was I wrong? I dunno. I will admit my wrongness, only God is perfect. But I'll tell you the main thing is that this store is NOT what it used to be! Bitterness, their was no genuine kindness. The clerks in the last 9 months or so are not the cream of the crop... that's for sure! Perhaps the "new owner" is of that harshness also?I dunno but I'll be buying my needs elsewhere, that's for sure!THEIR PRICES HAS GONE UP TOO. Perhaps it is the neighborhood that's making this store change... I dunno, I DO KNOW THAT THIS PLACEBIS NONLONGERBANGOOD BUSINESS I HAVE LOVED THIS STORE FOR MANY YEARS What A Shame!! They remind me of some of the libtards on TV. God and our Constitution allows free speech so far and I'm using my freedom of speech also. I gave them 2 stars for their great product. They have EVERYTHING anyone needs.

A small store with a mighty inventory. Name brand products at great prices. Knowledgeable staff eager to help. Always a great selection of whatever I'm looking for.

I'm usually a whole food's type of person but because I live in St.Clair Shores I generally can only get to that side of town a couple of times a month. I love the health but. They usually have whatever holistic health related product I'm looking for but the customer service is SO bad. There was a woman named Andrea there that was rude and so arrogant. I heard her yelling at a customer telling them that she didn't have time to answer a million questions over the phone. She was laughing at a customer asking a question about a product, she was extremely unpleasant to me. So much so, it makes me not want to buy anything from the store. I may go back and hopefully she's not there, but no one wants to patronize a store that treats their clientele like crap.

Great local vitamin store. Staff is knowledgeable. If they don't have something they'll order it. I've been shopping there for years.
