A & L Ham Palace

Why do I have to stop at 5 stars ? Finally made it to this Detroit gem . Well worth the 30 mile drive. Don't think I have ever met a more family friendly group running a restaurant. Ordered ham - eggs hash brown plate . Totally great. Had to be both a pound of ham & hash browns on plate. Delicious tasting! Leftovers for ham sandwich tomorrow! Everything made from scratch. Great toast included. $9 per plate. Coming back to try corned beef next time

Friendly staff, quality products, affordable! Best breakfast around! The ham portions are unbelievable for the price. Highly recommend!Don't forget to try their coney chili on your hash browns!

Quick easy and greasy on my way to work. Fairly small menu. Got the ham and cheese omelette of course. Very good and crispy hash browns! N n

Great breakfast Awesome service Best breakfast that I have had since moving back to Detroit this summer. Great portions, reasonable prices old skool back in the day atmosphere. Definitely a place to go out of your way to try.

Was in the mood for breakfast, but I wanted the basics, at a decent price. I walked up to Ham Palace and have deemed it my new go-to spot. It's super small about 3 tables or so and a countertop, mostly truckers/locals. It's owned by a family. Everyone was super nice, and friendly. Staff and patrons. The meal hit the spot. The grits were great, and so was my omelet. I even ordered a coney dog to go for lunch. If you're in the mood for a good breakfast but not interested in all of the bells and whistles of the "brunch" atmosphere, prices, and long wait times. Ham Palace is a local spot, that will deliver

Western Omelette was great! The atmosphere was friendly, and the staff terrific. It's a place where everyone knows your name.

They have great breakfast specials, I love their hashbrowns, my favorite breakfast sandwiches a BLT on a Onion roll with egg and cheese. The service there is excellent friendly great prices. Wish they were open up on the weekend.

I used to enjoy a big breakfast from A&L Ham Palace 6 years ago when the original owner and his wife ran the restaurant, Since then service is poor and not especially clean. Do better!

Great place to start the day. The fellas treat you like family. I had the Western Omelette with hash browns. I should've gotten grits.
