888 Sushi

Try to support smaller business - i believe this will be my 3rd time coming. There's only 1 person working (as cashier/waitress) but actually she's very attentive towards everyone coming in.So please note - if you're looking for someone to stand with you a long time while you're thinking of what to get then this isn't your place. Prices are a little over but food is really good - once again this isn't a large place. Never ate inside; order then leave and i was never missing any items. She does give you recommendation but make sure to look at the prices.It this place fancy - not really; gives off more dive bar vibe which isn't bad. Will i continue to support this place... YES! Oh - they have a drive through. Lol! i think its more for pickup order then order at the window type.Happy Eating!!!

I decided to try this place out based on that it was mentioned recently and I was driving by. It was around 11:30 and nobody was there. Im assuming that they do a lot of take out rather than dine in. First impressions was that it needed an update. Very dark with dated signs and older decor. It was hot and humid outside, so I was looking forward to getting into the cooler restaurant which was just kind of stagnant warm air so that was disappointing. The waitress was really friendly and outgoing. She asked if I've ever been there before and I said no so she said welcome and showed me how to order on the menu. They have a menu that's laminated and you pick what you want and just mark with the dry erase marker, which is great when I turned over the menu and I seen all the different kinds of sushi, they had it made a lot easier for her rather than her writing down everything.I'm not big on sushi, but I saw other people post pictures of standard Chinese dishes so that's what I was in the mood for. As far as the dishes that are standard Chinese, it looked to be only Lo Mein, Almond chicken and General Tso chicken most part . The Garlic butter rice sounded good and you could have different meats added to it. I really wish they gave the option to upgrade with the meal. I ordered the General chicken spicy, and it came with rice and soup or salad. I was kind of shocked when the only soup they had was miso soup. I was hoping for egg drop or wonton soup, but they didn't have that. And it also didn't come with an egg roll, which I had to order separately, so I ordered a shrimp eggroll for the side. I opted for the salad which came out with a thicker paste looking dressing and I asked what it was and she said it was a Ginger dressing. I didn't really like that so she gave me thousand island. The eggroll came out. It looked good and tasted good, but when I flipped it over, it was very oily and the oil looked like it seeped into the eggroll itself so the filling had kind of an oily taste, but still tolerable . The food came and was very hot and looked appealing. The taste was good also. The spiciness was nice for a change because usually they don't get it spicy when you ask for it. It came with white rice. I asked if I could upgrade to the garlic butter rice they offered and she said no, which I don't care for white rice too much so I brought it home. All in all, if you're a Sushi fan they looked to have a lot of great sounding things. As for me returning, probably not. They just didnt have many traditional Asian dishes I was craving and to not be able to upgrade the rice was big for me.

The food here is overpriced, quality of hibachi is poor and portions small. There's usually only 1 person working the counter and serving & they are very slow. You can definitely find better in the area. Try Bamboo Garden or Golden Chopsticks.

It was very quite for lunch. It was just me and another person. The service was pleasant by greeting me in and not hovering a lot. Mostly table booths to eat at. This place is painted red and decorated in a few Japanese items, and other Asian decorations. The food was good but I think the caterpillar roll had little too much sauce.

This restaurant is amazing! Not only the food but the staff. Everything is always so delicious and you get the most wonderful customer service! Highly recommend this sweet place for your next sushi feast!

Not sure why this place is so highly rated, I went based off of that and was so sad. Literally puked up my sushi out of disgust, fried rice was bland. My "smoked salmon" tasted raw and very fishy. Pretty sad about my 35$ dinner that was tiny portions and not too good taste wise

My husband and I have been eating here for years and the food never disappoints! The staff are always friendly and welcoming and we always have a great experience.

VERY BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE!I'm not sure who the younger lady is in the drive -thru but she was extremely rude when I went to pick my food up today. No need to go into detail but it's clear the restaurant does not care about the people giving them their hard earned money.

Don't go unless you plan to take an unexpected emergency room visit. Visited last week and was wildly sick the following day. Please be careful if you decide to dine here.

Real gross. Should have known not to try this place by the fact that it's sushi and it has less than 4 stars. Smelled real fishy. Barf. The taste was worse. I'm sure it had that bacteria on it. We had takeout so we did not ask for a refund. Simply never going here again.
