Really good service and solid bar food. We sat at the bar and the pretzel was awesome. I also had the soup of the day and the taco salad--both were tasty, and I loved the dressing on the salad. The atmosphere inside was cozy and had a cool speakeasy feel.

Popped in for lunch while in the area, and it was solid! They had their brunch menu out, which was mostly some breakfast foods and sandwiches. It did have some unique flavors and items. My mom and I split a sandwich (comes with a side of potatoes or fries) and it was a good amount for us (we weren't super hungry). The Sleeping With the Fishes sandwich (soft shell crab sandwich) was tasty! Was a whole soft shell crab (legs and all) on brioche with maple aioli, arugula, tomato, avocado, and ranch. The maple aioli stood out and was an interesting sweet (but not too sweet) element. The potatoes were good, though we had ordered the fries (all good though). Water is served in mini mason jars and a full drink menu available as well (beer, wine, cocktails). The entrance took us a sec to find, as we thought it was on Grand River. It's actually via the back alley behind Grand River off Walnut, and you walk down the stairs there to the main entrance. From there, you enter the bar area first and then it seems like the restaurant kind of twists and turns into other spaces. Cool basement bar kind of vibe.

Great food, drinks, service, and we enjoyed the ambiance. We stopped here (for the first time) after driving to Grand Rapids and back to visit a relative in the hospital. We chose 2 Fog's because most other places were closed on a Monday evening. Glad we did! Will be back.

I really hate giving bad reviews but we vote with our $$ and mine is not going to be spent at 2 Fog's. The service was great. Ethan, our server, did a great job, as he has in the past, of waiting on us. The problem is with the prices being through the roof when only 2-3 months ago they were tolerable. I don't mind spending money on a nice dinner out, but I don't need to single-handed make payroll for the week with my meal. I know, the economy and inflation really stink. The wine pours were ... ugh, who even wants to report this about a restaurant. But cheap is cheap, and it feels like 2 Fog's is struggling. I'll wait to hear through the grapevine that things have improved before returning. I'm so sad because there's such ambiance and potential to be a great restaurant.

Been to 2 Fogs several times and each time it's fantastic. Great drinks, appetizers and main courses are well designed and prepared. The bar is like an old speakeasy and it's really cool atmosphere.

This is by far our favorite place to dine and reconnect after our work week. Many happy and delicious memories here and they just keep out-doing themselves. FOGS is literally a place where you could close your eyes and point to anything on the menu and it would be extraordinary. It never disappoints and we love taking our out of town guests and family here for cocktails and dining. Counting down the days til our next visit...Vesper anyone? You may not see it on the drink menu but they will make it for you if you ask!

I was here for a work party and the food was great! The salmon was flaky and juicy. The s'mores dessert was so good that my coworker said it was the best dessert he's ever had! The entrance was from the backside of all the buildings. So it seemed hidden at first. The restaurant is in a basement level and surprisingly very cozy feeling. The service was great too!

Me and my fiancé just ate dinner for the first time at 2 fogs tonight. The service was great but the food was horrible. I got the beef stroganoff and it tasted like boiled noodles covered in a can of cream of mushroom soup. It was bland and was absolutely not worth $24.00......?! My fiancé got a blackened chicken ceaser salad. The chicken was caked with blackened seasoning so much it was not edible. We ended up getting the bill and paying. We will not be returning. Helen Keller could cook a better meal than this. Good luck!

Cool basement bar vibe! Kinda hard to find, entry is from alley. Parking not ideal. Food was good. Place was busy. We had the special Coconut Shrimp egg rolls. Great idea, poor execution. Were too big and too cheesy. Entrees were Beef sliders (said carmelized onions but more like sautéed) and power bowl. All were tasty. Drinks seems weak, but maybe the tolerance is just high.
