Désir Bakery

Désir bakery isn't the best bakery in the area but it is conveniently located inside 99 ranch market.. which is probably the only reason why people go here. They aren't consistent with their bread and pastries at all.Sometimes the bread/pastries are fresh and taste good! While other times, they taste stale/old and don't have much flavor to it. But their cakes however, have been consistent and are always pretty tasty. Customer service here isn't the best either. Cashiers never smile or talk to customers. Going to Paris Baguette or 85 degree bakery would definitely be the better choice compared to here. Overall, I'll give this place 2.5 stars just for their cakes and puff pastry milk butter bun.

Been here several times but the never have custard buns like they used to when they were just a regular bakery on the other side of the hot food disappointing. All the boxes were empty on tuesday maybe they only bake more on weekends. Their red bean buns are fantastic though tons of red bean and their egg tarts taste pretty good. Service is always slow as they are always busy doing other stuff.

Here it is this Bakery is fairly Good they have really Good Taro Bread it comes in a Loft and it costs about 2.50 a Loft and it is worth every Penny so good !! They also have really good Pineapple Bread a must try also !! Over all it gets 4 out of 5 !! It is located inside 99 Ranch Supermarket right across from the Ford Dealer Ship in Clairemont Mesa Blvd . Every time I shop in 99 Ranch I must stop by the Bakery which is Desir Bakery and I pick up my bread there . Good Place not so expensive !!!! So Give it a shot and try this place out !! Oh So Gooood !!!

Good chinese desserts and pastries! Their pork sung buns are my favorite!They have so much to choose from, you won't be disappointed.

This place is new (inside 99 Ranch) and i believe they are trying to compete with Zion just down the street, this place reminds me of Paris Baguette.Everything looks tasty, fluffy, and yummy. Try the taro bread.Go ahead and splurge, prices are not too high.

I love their cakes and bakery. I have tried almost every thing they sell and have not disappointed yet. My favorites are black forest, tiramisu and the triangle wedge-like pound cakes. They have the single slices of almost every cake. It's perfect if you crave for a specific one or you can sample different cakes.

Cakes are delish! If the owners read this can you please start making Chocolate eclairs would be a very very very welcome addition! Every pastries place should have them!
