Passed by one day and decided to get some brunch a few days later since it looked cute. The food was great and the service was spectacular. It was a cozy dining area with many patrons on a Thursday and great music. Their coffee is really good - not sure what brand or how they brew it... it's probably just really regular coffee. My brother and I don't normally finish our coffee at brunch places, but we had two cups each here. Overall enjoyed brunch here and the food and people were great.

Tiny, crowded, old school diner. I almost had to turn sideways to walk through the room. They have Cholula on each table, that's a good sign. They have a friendly hustling staff, and there are plenty of menu choices with decent prices. The skillets on the other tables looked really good. It was the Down Home for me (biscuits and gravy with eggs). Good country gravy and plenty of it, with perfectly baked biscuits. Thumbs up. She enjoyed her corned beef hash skillet. We both agreed that they have good solid food. I'd probably give them five stars if I didn't feel so claustrophobic. Make it four and half stars.

A nice family diner with high demand. I arrived as they opened on a Sunday. It was me, the casual interior of a country diner, and a menu that made the ambiance welcoming and relaxing. I was first in the place, but by the time I left 45 minutes later, the place was half full. The server/cashier/bus person (she was by herself) said she gets more help at 8 when things really pick up. So why is this place happening? It is a good combination of service, food, and price. The server was the pillar of efficiency... a pot of coffee in one hand, a pad and pen in the other. She rotated through the tables like a chess master carefully looking at every need and option. Truly, just watching her was a treat. I never needed to ask for anything. The food was great. The ham and cheese omelette was above most in diners, the hash browns were cooked well, and the bagel was even toasted properly. The only improvement they could make is a bit of seasoning on the food. For the price (which was really good), and the amount of food (which was more than I could eat), I would recommend this place.

Among the dining spots in the Chicago suburb during my stay, this emerged as my favorite. I regret not discovering it sooner in our trip. The omelet I ordered was both delicious and generously portioned. Opting for a strawberry blintz proved to be a wise choice, as it was expertly prepared. The menu showcased tempting options throughout the day, making decision-making quite delightful. The service was outstanding - prompt, proactive, and delivered with kindness. The diner was impeccably clean, and the prices were quite reasonable. While it may take a while, we certainly plan to return, given that we're from Missouri.

Had the Grecian pork chop with lemon rice , pickles, dried up kalmata olives and a piece of the rib of ice burg with good pickles feta cheese. Came with soup or salad . I ordered salad and garlic dressing . Overly sweet dressing no garlic flavor, switched to ranch which was very good. The salad was cold and fresh but they didn't drain the water from the lettuce. Pork chop was dry, potato wedge was dry and a bit charred. Boy friend had skirt steak breakfast. Lots of food. With tip 56.00 bucks. Server was good. Steak was okay. Menu looked good but most likely won't return.

We stopped here Sunday mid morning. It was busy but they sat us down quickly. It is a family diner with simply good food. I had the chilaquiles and it was made as I ordered. Hubby had the typical eggs and bacon. The freshly squeezed orange juice was very good.

Everything went great here. We were a bit skeptical about the outside, but what a small, friendly hidden gem. Our server was excellent, attentive and personable. Our breakfast order was exactly as requested--crispy hash browns and all. The location is an easy-off the highway location for meeting family. We'll definitely be back and bring more family members. A perfect place for an excellent diner-style breakfast. Kudos
