Deno's Pizza

Gonna have to go with Nick N.'s assessment of Deno's. Wow! I was not expecting this much flavor. Up until now, Yo Pauley's in Scottsdale was my favorite pizza joint here. A lot of us who migrated here from NY/NJ like our pizza a certain way. I typically don't get the hype about the Chicago way although I do appreciate the different technique of the deep dish and what I refer to as the "upside down pizza." Not a fan of Lou Malnatti's. Rosati's makes a decent pie. So again, wasn't expecting much.This will definitely be my go to pizza spot. The cheese! Those ridiculously large and delicious chunks of sausage! Oh man. I'm salivating just typing this up. It's a bit on the pricey side but oh-so-worth the price.

Reviews are always subjective, and when it comes to pizza, people tend to get downright territorial. So after hearing how great this place is for some time, we finally got the chance to try it. Everyone there was nice and helpful (even the patrons). We ordered a large sausage pizza. Just cheese, sausage, and sauce for takeout. When we got home, the pizza was still hot, and the crust was still crispy. Definitely a plus with takeout pizza. One thing I also noticed is that they dont skimp on toppings. You may pay a little more for pizza there, but they do load it up. The pizza was fantastic. Our whole family enjoyed it. The large sausage chunks were a huge hit, and the flavors were all there. This pizza hit, and is currently in our top 2 best pizza places in Surprise. You now have new regulars. Never change.Only suggestion to take this to an 11 is to have homemade ranch dressing, AKA "the good ranch".

Can I give this a 6 star review??? Holy cats Rockford native and lived all over for the past 52 years.THIS is the BEST Chicago pizza outside of Chicago you can get!! Was told 'everything but the city water' when I asked if they got everything from there... and the fennel in the sausage... DAMN

Just sucks ordered 2 small horrible pizza an 10 chicken wings.dried up garbage. And no warning how you cut a pizza into tiny squares . You should close your doors for selling trash. Plus delivery was 100 wish get money back try 1 peice each pie threw away wings thru away .thanks for reminding me pizza in West valley sucks .

Clean place, nice kids working there, cool old pics on the wall, Caesar salad very good, but the description of thin crust Chicago tavern style square cut pizza is way off. It was ok, but not even close to a thin crust tavern style pizza, and it was triangle cut. Due to the amount of cheese and ingredients it had to be folded to eat a slice, not close to crispy. The new owners should take a trip to Chicago and try a few tavern style pies and then this place would be packed. Great name, logo and location. UPDATE- raised to 3 stars as the second day leftover heated in the toaster oven where the crust got a little crispier and cutting it into a more manageable size made it a four

Delicious Chicago style thin crust pizza. I'm from Chicago so it definitely gets the thumbs up. Very flavorful sauce and toppings. The dough is perfect. Give them a try you won't be disappointed.

Excellent toppings, flavorful taste but not my favorite crust. It's still very good though and would recommend trying it out.

As a native Chicagoan I've struggled to find good pizza in the valley. Finally found one. Too bad it's over hour drive for me. But will make it when I get a craving.

Denos is so tasty! I love the meatball sandwich as it is always packed full with meat, sauce, and flavor. The pizza so always great :)

Deno's has become our new favorite pizza and wings spot! They never disappoint we love their food! I definitely recommend eating here
