We wandered into Dempsey's on a whim for a late breakfast and were pleasantly surprised. A bright sunny space with solid diner-style breakfast and lunch fare accompanied by fast and friendly service. Texas toast, eggs Benedict, and a BLT were all excellent so what's not to like? I think we've found a new spot to add to our roster of breakfast destinations. (To be fair, the coffee wasn't great. But very few diners have great coffee these days.)

This is a neighborhood haunt we've heard a lot about, so we had to try it. Too expensive for diner food. Sorry! I ordered eggs with cheese and it was a slice of cheese on top of the eggs. Not melted. That was a major surprise and have to note that's not how I expected the scrambled eggs with cheese. Overall, would not recommend.

Dempsey's is the perfect neighborhood breakfast joint. Everyone is so nice inside too. It has a classic diner vibe inside and a nice big menu with plenty of breakfast and lunch options. I absolutely love their flavored iced coffee! So delicious.

One Sunday night my cycling called me up and told me let's go to the gym tomorrow. It's too cold for riding so let's lift weights and then get a bite to eat. We drove to Blink Fitness and these did our workout on this cold, dreary day that was still caught in the clutches of the recent holidays. That post-Christmas feeling filled the air and as we left, Jim asked me where we could go eat after hitting the gym. He told me there's a Starbucks eight steps away or this place called Dempseys across the street. I said to Jim still with the holiday airs in the wind, "Lets support a local business. Dempseys."We walked in and a short woman greeted us with a smile. as we sat down, coffees were immediately placed on our table. The food came fast and we were completely impressed with our meal, the service, and the coffee. And for a moment, beyond these frozen streets, this post holiday winter seemed tolerable. Everything tasted better.

First time at Dempsey's , this is the place you go to if you want your traditional egg , home fries , meat and toast breakfast. Everything was made fresh and came out quick and hot ! I hope to try their lunch next time I go back , I bet they have yummy sandwiches.

Hi , the food wasn't bad but I don't understand the plastic plates, plastic cups and cafeteria plastic utensils . My dish was sliding all over the table and my knife barely cut my food. If I got take out then ok! But I'm an adult sitting in for a breakfast at a restaurant and everything was plastic like I would give my 5 year old .:( . I won't be visiting again anytime soon.

It's been almost a decade since I went to this place, and it's still the same. We shared the ultimate breakfast, which was plenty for two people. We went on a Sunday, and we didn't wait that long for a table. Service was quick and great. Pancakes are the best here, especially with strawberry compote. Highly recommend.
